Haier CPRB08XCJ 8,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Portable Air Conditioner with Remote Control

Pros: Works great, cools, dries, and fans. Very portable.

Cons: Could be cooler but its good for a small to medium room.

Pros: easy to set up

Cons: one unit works, other arrived broken

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these. one for my mom a couple of weeks ago and it is working fine. no complaints. so I bought another for my daughter's room. When I plugged it in and set the fan on high it made a noise to wake the devil. something is not right!!! at the lowest fan speed it seems to work fine. I'm calling the Haier phone number today. If I can get this resolved, I'll make note of it here.

Pros: Excellent product gives out the cold air that it said it would and all the rest of the features are awesome, just what I was looking for and just as described.

Pros: Compact unit. Easy controls, Decent set up.

Cons: Does not cool set specs for room. Currently being used in a room with 155 square feet has not dropped past 78 degree. Took almost 3 hours to get to 78 from 83 when unit was turned on.

Other Thoughts: Extremely disappointed. Not sure what I can do since Newegg will not accept a return for the unit.

Pros: Cools very fast. Very reliable. Easy set up. Had unit for last 2 years. Had no problems with it. Never had to drain water yet, evaporator works well. Cools med room well.

Cons: Kinda on the loud side. But you get use to it, i guess most are loud.

Other Thoughts: Would diffently buy again. Fan aways on but ac goes on and off to cool to set temp.

Other Thoughts: this unit is not junk. it saved me in a moving pinch during a 90+ degree week. rolled it into my new house bedroom and FINALLY - relief after a hard, shweaty move when your exhausted and don't have the energy left to hook up a window unit. not heavy, and will go with me wherever I may roam. you do have to occasionally empty the water tap at bottom but that's not a con, and just the nature of air cooling and not a big deal. unit will shut off and flash a light when water container is full which hasn't happened to me yet, but I empty it around once a week. have used it every night to sleep comfortably since buying 2 months ago.

Pros: This is the senond year that I own this AC unit and it works great. It won't cool down your whole house but it will chill a big room!

Cons: It cool like a fan and not an AC unit. Use it 3 months last year and 1 week this year and now it dead. You can't even find this model on Haier website.

Other Thoughts: Should of purchase an AC unit at a local big box. Newegg OK for computer parts not for home items.
