Pros: Works fine and cools well

Other Thoughts: It was a little banged up in shipping. My daughter waited 2 months to tell me that so I didn't have much recourse to complain. "adjusting" the frame a bit for the shipping seems to have helped but make sure you check the unit right away running on high to confirm it is not too loud for you.

Pros: Portable! Easily moves from room to room. Simple to set up. No issues with having to deal with a drain pan. Cools my living and dining room areas well (25 ft X 14 feet).

Cons: Not meant for slider windows. The attachment is meant for casement windows but it does cover about 3 feet of gap on my slider window.

Loud on high setting but so what? All AC room units are loud on high setting. I want a comfortable room and this does the job.

Other Thoughts: First portable unit I've purchased. I love it. A lot less of a hassle than a window ac unit.

The window attachment design could be improved to handle sliders better but honestly, it manages to cover 3/4 of the gap and doesn't seem to prevent the unit from cooler down the room you're in.

It's also fairly efficient for an AC unit. My electric bill didn't go up nearly as much as I anticipated it would and I was running it about 12 hours/day average last summer. Maybe a 20% bump in my electric bill. I was expecting about 60% extra as much as I was using it.

I'm on year 2 of use and no issues with it at all so far. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Pros: 1. Black
2. Simple installation
3. Cools a 22x-18x room with ease. (30-45 minutes on high/cool from 92 degrees to ~74 degrees)
4. Easy to move, on tile and carpet.

Cons: Really only one con; I feel kind of cheated that it can be set to 62 or 63 degrees but it cannot achieve that coolness to save it's life (even at night when it's in the mid to high 70's outside). I've also noticed the thermometer which is always on, wig out. When I have it set to 62 degrees it will take a break at 69-70 degrees but all of a sudden the thermometer shows 64 BUT it's not a six, its a backwards 3. I took a thermometer to the room and it indeed was at 70 degrees. So how that number kept happening is beyond me? Maybe a software glitch or a faulty model/unit I received?

Other Thoughts: The window kit that comes with it is about 42 inches long and unfortunately every single window in my condo is left/right sliding that is 58 inches in height. It would have been nice if they made the extensions allow for more extensions that you can purchase separately.

The air conditioner is slightly big, but that is to be expected for an indoor unit.

It is very loud on high fan speed, in my opinion the same noise level has a hotel's air conditioner on high. It is loud enough that I can hear it through my noise canceling stereo headset. A good note though, on low fan speed or when it's not cooling and just running the fan, it's not very loud at all, I easily sleep with it on.

Pros: It looks nice. Nothing besides that.

Cons: Very loud. Its the loudest AC I've ever had. 12,000BTU yeah rigt. my 200sqf room isnt cool down and I actually cant watch TV beacause of the nice.
