Pros: Good ppowerful suction; picks up dirt where you don't even know it's hiding; easy to use; light is helpful; easy to empty once you figure out how to do it.

Cons: Can be messy when emptying if you are not careful; very loud; would be nice if it had a retractable cord.

Other Thoughts: Very good vacuum for the price when I got it (on sale with free shipping). We were not disappointed.

Pros: Low profile is useful for getting underneath furniture. The hard-floor brush works well. I like the relatively simple design of the canister--it helps keep hair and such from getting jammed in the HEPA filter. The rotary filter cleaner does knock a decent amount of stuff off the filter, which reduces the need to take the HEPA out and beat it well (which is always required for HEPA filters). Lastly, the motor is powerful and brushes very well--but it will pull you across the carpet a bit (even on the highest pile height). It's also not as loud as other 12amp vacuums I've had.

Cons: Build quality is less than stellar. Plastic is thin and cheap. The add-on hose with hard floor brush is just that--something else they threw in the box. The extra hose is better quality than the one which comes with it, but it's too long for the guides/holders on the vacuum. I had to wrap it around the handle once in order to be able to store it properly. There's no storage for the hard-floor attachment.

Other Thoughts: Wait until it goes on sale. Don't even think of paying full price for it. When I purchased it, it was on sale from $129 to $100. I still feel I overpaid.

Pros: hard to empty, long hose should have pace to stay on vacumme. Don't need small hose attachment.

Cons: picks up really great, have pets with lots of hair. The hair attachment for furniture works great also. Price is great. I would purchase another one.

Other Thoughts: The other reviewer had a bad experience with this vacuum. Our experience was just the opposite--clever design, very effective at cleaning, lots of tools to help.

The canister IS a mess to empty, because--surprise!--it's full of dirt, dust, pet hair, and everything else (You won't believe just how much cr*p resides in your carpets). So I empty it outside and stand upwind. First the canister, then the screen, then the filter. Tons of junk comes out. Amazing.

Pros: Good suction power.Long cord. Thats it.

Cons: Hard to empty. Makes a mess everytime emptying this,dirt sticks to plastic. Cheaply made in Mexico of low quality parts.Not worth price paid seen in local stores for less. Arrived with missing screws for handle.Factory shiped two weeks later after received it from newegg.
