Pros: Perfect fitting water tanks, both the water and soap dispenser, and the extraction tank. One handed operation to tilt them forward for refill and drain. Both tanks are clear so you can see what is going on. The attachment for the upholstery is one of the best I've ever used! Very easy to attach, works great, and also easy to clean afterwards. The entire machine feels solid, yet it's lightweight and easy to push across the carpeting. It has two rows of brushes, the main set that is on a roller typical to what you see on a vacuum cleaner, and a set behind that that are rotary brushes. So, it agitates the carpeting in several directions, and this is what I think helps to loosen and clean it. The tight flat front nozzle expertly extracts all the dirty water, even when going back over to just rinse only, it pulls up more water than other types I've owned in the past.

Cons: I can't think of a single defect or improvement I'd make.

Other Thoughts: I bought this mainly to do carpeting, as it's more convenient to have your own machine than to rent one. I love how it does carpeting, I've used it 3 times since purchasing it. But, to my surprise, the upholstery attachment is very good, I was amazed at how it improved and refreshed my furniture! Even one chair that just looked worn, and well used, it not only cleaned it very well, but even lifted and refreshed the fabric so that the chair looks new again. That was on a velour-type upholstered recliner. Great machine!

Pros: I have owned many carpet cleaners over the years and this is the best one so far. tanks are easy to take off and put back in place and to fill and empty. Front plate of shampoo head snaps off and on for easy cleaning. Dual brush heads clean very well as well as give the machine a self propelled feeling. Very easy to use.
