Cons: -At this price nothing really bothers me. One star less for unknown, used unit just once. Five star is for proved, thoroughly checked and perfect items. Four stars is very good rating.

When medium sized box with washer came in I couldn`t believe that it contained such a machine. Well, it did. It is very light and much smaller than typical carpet cleaner. Easy to use.
Easy to assemble, just 4 philips screws.
It cleaned old dirty spots made by my son and his juice, rest of the carpet was nicely refreshed.
Doesn`t wet carpet too much, so it is relatively dry after and completely dry next day. If more scrubbing is needed, just take another pass.
It is really great machine for what it cost. But shouldn`t be compared to other, more expensive, bigger units. Best for light use, keeping carpets fresh, getting out light to medium spots. As small as my regular vacuum, fits in small closet in bathroom, ready to use at any moment.
This unit was refurbished, visible signs that it was used. But clean and in very good condition. No way to find less expensive, factory refurbished cleaner. This is Dirt Devil, same as Hoover model and made by Hoover. Really glad I bought it. One more thing, because it is light cleaner you must vacuum carpet before use. If not, filter gets clogged easly and needs cleanig (which is not too complicated).
