Best chill for the buck
- Pros: 5 eggs because this is great effectiveness at a low price.
Quiet for a 10,000 BTU unit, cools off my hot top-floor living room very quickly, remote works great, lots of settings to get things just right. Doesn't use nearly as much energy as you might think (aka, saves you $$$)
- Cons: Really not much to whine about here.
It's heavy, so you need some out-of-window support system, (which you'll have to drill into the window sill or wall).
Also, the mechanism to control which way the air comes out is kind of a joke.
- Other Thoughts: Best deal for the price -- and free shipping!

- Cons: has not been able to keep room as cool (350 sqf) as expected after reading other reviews. i live in texas and does get very hot. will go back to buying friedrich they are worth the extra money
