2 out of 5 eggsSorry I bought it

Pros: It is a lot of coffee maker for $16. Just don't think you're getting a fantastic deal because the "list" price is $79.99. Even $33.99 is way too much to pay for it.

Cons: 1.) The auto shut-off waits 2 hours. I never would have guessed any coffee maker with auto shut-off would wait 2 hours. Last one I had with auto shut-off was 30 minutes.

2.) It is very difficult to fill with water. The holes are small and the carafe's lid gets in the way. It is a very poor design.

3.) It is bigger than it looks in the picture. It takes up a lot of space.

4.) The manual says a water filter is included, but it wasn't.

5.) I tried following the web site link, but this coffee maker is not even on their website.

Other Thoughts: Saw the fantastic price $15.99 with free shipping and I needed to upgrade to a coffee maker with auto shut-off since I get distracted too easily.

So I purchased this without hesitation or research.

Well, I'm sorry I bothered.

Other reviewers have said that their's only lasted five or ten months. I look forward to it breaking.

2 out of 5 eggsDisposable Appliance

Pros: Paid $20 10 months ago. Just went on sale today for $16.

Cons: Never made hot coffee, meaning at the temperature required for ideal extraction. I lived with it.
Died after 10 months of making coffee 2-3 times a day. Something fried yesterday and now won't heat water and therefore no coffee. Always have a backup!

Other Thoughts: You decide, but certainly the country of orgin is not quality oriented. And once again - yeah, you usually get what you pay for.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: It worked for a while.

Cons: It lasted less than 5 months - and I only make coffee on the weekends. When I turn it on, it just sits there mocking me. There is no warranty or service, so I'm dumping it in the garbage.

5 out of 5 eggsMakes Coffee

Pros: It makes coffee and has a large number of features.

Cons: No filters, but the other reviews stated as much.

Other Thoughts: I wish it came with filters, but being as I got this coffee maker on a sale, with it over 50% off, I will not hold that against them.

5 out of 5 eggsPlease Read for Truth on This - Awesome Coffee Maker

Pros: 1 - Automatic brew timer, coffees made when you wake up. 2. - Coffee maker beeps when its done brewing and the sneek-a-cup feature is great 3. - Dedicated button for half-pot when needed 4. - Sweet LED Light display, yea its bright but its the kitchen so who cares people. 5. - Clean coffee pot indicator (if you read the directions it clearly states that it comes on after 4 brews. Just hold it for a few seconds and it turns off until another 4 brews. I clean mine about once a month to keep it brewing quicker. 6. - Auto off after two hours 7. - Burn-out safety feature, if there's no water in the coffee pot it wont turn on.

Cons: The biggest thing people complain about is the lack for gold and charcole filter it comes with ya that sucks but did you see the price on this thing you have to pay 80 bucks a walmart for one with all these features. Yes the opening for pouring in the water is small but to me thats the only bad thing about this.

Other Thoughts: Also, anyone haveing trouble with the auto shutoff well once again if you read the manual, the coffee pot has a nice design feature to it that doesn't allow it to turn on unless it has water in it. So while its flashing when you first turn it on after the auto off shut it off, tap the top of the lid so the steam water drops fall in it or dump a small shot of water in it. If after a few seconds it doesn't suck water it'll just shut off again. Safety feature so it doesn't burn up by accidently turning it on.. Awesome deal here guys, im buying another just to have.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Obviously easy to use. Simple enough for this cave man.

Cons: Did not have the charcoal pak that was described in the booklet.

2 out of 5 eggsNon-Existent Service

Pros: It brews coffee that tastes good.

Cons: Poorly designed machine. It takes up a huge amount of counter space. Impossible to pour water into the machine without spilling [had to buy a funnel just to fill machine]. As people state, it doesn't come with internal water filter or a gold filter. Clean indicator light is on all the time [about every 3 weeks]{decalcify machine}. I really can't really find anything good to say about this.

Other Thoughts: I would NOT buy again. There's NO Saeco service on this pot, so buyer beware.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well For Me

Pros: Makes nice hot coffee and it's easy to set up and use. By far the best price for a coffee maker that uses #4 filters.

Cons: Like other reviews have noted, the charcoal filter is not included. This does not matter to me as I use filtered water anyway. I would not recommend using the coffee pot to fill the water chamber. Use a glass or something else to avoid water spillage.

Other Thoughts: Pretty hard to complain at this price. Seems like a great inexpensive coffee maker.
