3 out of 5 eggsIts ok

Pros: It will cook rice

Cons: I think the hole in the lid is too small because steam escapes from the side of the lid. It builds up water on the sides of the lid once it starts doing this the lid bounces a bit and spits a bit of water out onto the counter. kind of annoying.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst Ever Rice cooker

Pros: No pros. As it is dead after a month of use.

Cons: I was little sceptic even before I bought it as I usual want to use quality products. The price offered was unbeatable but that didnot mean that it offered the same service.Cooker stopped working after a month. A similarly priced black&decker cooker at walmart worked flawlessly for over 2 years. If your staple food is rice and cook rice regulary this is certainly not for you. I wish I had a free replacement but the shipping costs rule out the possibility of using the warranty on the product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat multi-use cooker

Pros: Great cooker that I have just started to use more frequently. I've used it to make hard boiled eggs, rice, and soup and bean mixes.
The bowl is not teflon or nonstick coated, but nothing is going to stick if you stir it every now and then. The bowl\pot's lip also goes over the device, so no liquid can run down into the hot element.
It easily fits inside the refrigerator afterwards, there is a small hole in the glass lid (to release steam) but doesn't affect storage in the fridge for under a day or two.

Cons: (No cons)
I just bought a more expensive $60 Wolfgang Puck Rice Cooker \ Steamer so that I can cook meat, seafood, and vegetables more easily.

However if you Youtube these basic rice cookers, you will find that you can cook bread (with some effort), stir fry, etc. Perfect for a small kitchen or dorm room.

Other Thoughts: For a hearty dry soup mix I let it get to boiling, turn it to warm mode for 10 minutes, then let it go back to boiling (to get a full hour of cooking without it overcooking or letting the soup get too hot.

3 out of 5 eggsnot that great

Pros: It works.

Cons: The cooker always comes out with rice that's too dry or too soggy.

Other Thoughts: Use a non-stick spray on the pan beforehand to make cleanup easier.
