Pros: For $5 (when ordering 2) is a very functional adjustable joint pliers with a very comfortable grip.

Cons: As other reviewer said, it's not smooth to change to different positions -- can take a bit of jiggling to get it in the right spot to close.

Other Thoughts: Not a very heavy duty design. I bet a macho man with a killer grip would have no trouble breaking it. Not meant for heavy duty work.

Not for the Tool Bag!

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: The handle is very comfortable and the metal quality seems fine.

Cons: These are the most frustrating pliers I have ever bought and rarely ever use anymore. My Channellocks are far, far superior. The way you adjust the pliers is very different and sticks when trying to increase or decrease the opening of the pliers. Just a poor design compared with the competition. I would not recommend this to anyone, even for $5.00. When you need a tool to work smoothly, this one will frustrate the hell out of you.

Other Thoughts: Made in China and it shows! I sure miss the quality of products that use to say made in USA. They are a dieing breed. :o(
