Pros: Very thrifty on the propane usage, with two tanks we live in Florida, and grill 2-3 times a week year round. This unit heats up fast and cooks from the inside out so even chicken is juicy and cleanup is a snap, just turn it to clean while you eat and it bakes the unit clean.
We have done a full cleaning just once where we took the grills off and the reflector pan, that is a once a year job and it is easy.
If you like the Smokey feature no problem add hickory chips and you have real cookout flavor. Steaks just dip in olive oil and use salt and pepper sear flip every five minutes perfect every time.

Cons: Set up seems tough at first, but take your time and just lay it out first on the flattened box get containers for the little parts, plan to spend at least 40 min to an hour putting it together, do not rush it, get someone to help, extra hands make it fly.

Other Thoughts: This unit lured me away from charcoal and hands down beats charcoal for taste, ease of use, speed of cooking, and most importantly the food tastes great EVERY TIME. My teens are even cooking for their friends with success, we have even reheated pizza wrapped in foil, I wish I had gotten one year’s earlier, I am done my charcoal cooker and all that charcoal mess, what a waste of time that was, with the Charbroil it is "Hey what’s for dinner? How about steak!" No big deal 15 minutes later you are sitting down at the table, instead of waiting for charcoal to be ready, this can't be beat!
