1 out of 5 eggsCordless? Do you even know how electricity works?

Pros: Absolutely none unless you consider placebo a pro.

Cons: I got this thing free with something else I bought years ago.

"Cordless" anti-static straps are known to be next to useless. The laws of physics are pretty clear on this issue. These *could* be mildly effective if (and only if) there was a capacitor inside that collected and held the charge and dissipated it while you weren't wearing it, but I saw no capacitor inside, only a resistor.

It isn't as if anti static wrist straps with cords and alligator clips are expensive. Don't fool around with this.

Other Thoughts: I'm an electrical engineering major.

3 out of 5 eggsCordless?

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I haven't had a chance to thoroughly test this item but so far there seems to be no change in static charge

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work

Pros: - None

Cons: - No change in static discharge

Other Thoughts: - Bought one of these to see what was inside; Only a small resistor attached to two screws. No change in the frequency or perceived strength of static discharge.

- Save your money and buy one with an alligator clip and cable.
