Pros: I built my first computer a few weeks ago and this kit had everything i needed.

Cons: From the perspective of a simple computer building kit i had none.

Pros: Great tools, I have not had any problem with tools. Every tools there are useful. This is almost same as in my high school few years ago the computer repair class (A+ class) had, but it was smaller with a few tools but this one is awesome a lot more tools hence the "Premium".

So far I love it.

Pros: Has every tool you'll need for a build and some you won't. The case is very nice and keeps your tools nice and organized.

Cons: I wish it had a separate wire cutters instead of a pliers/wire cutters.

Other Thoughts: Good for the job.

Pros: Decent case, everything fits nicely, almost everything you need, suited my build/repairs/rebuilds everytime.

Cons: I almost wrote that it has an IC clipper, but even that is not a con. While I havent used it, it helps to hold a couple tubes of thermal paste.

Other Thoughts: I have added 3 tubes of thermal paste, a roll of electrical tape, a hobby knife (and the replacement blades) and case still closes fine (but does not look as nice as the picture when I open it now). The storage compartments have been full since I used it the first time to rebuild a computer when I bought this several years ago, comes in very handy.

Pros: This is a great basic tool kit. I have owned this kit for just over 3 years and I am still using it around the house. It's worked for putting this together like my TV stand to my daughters crib. It comes in handy for the PC too.

Cons: The bits are made out of a semi-soft material. Not a big enough deal to take off an egg.

Other Thoughts: As long as you take care with what you are doing you shouldn't have a problem. Again I have had this set for 3 years and have used it frequently. My kit is a little worn but if you take care of your equipment and tools there is no reason this product shouldn't last. Mine is still in good working condition despite the wear and tear.

Bits are not magnetized.

Pros: OK, I'm lazy. This provided a convenient "1-package" solution for the OCCASIONAL hardware work. Just saves time from having to go collect everything from the garage's workbench when you just need a tweak rather than a major build (though it could be used for that), or you get that dreaded phone call from a family/friend, "Can you help me?". Just easy to grab and go.

Case slightly larger than I expected, about the size of a large paperback book (6 1/4"x9").

Cons: Quality not the greatest, and can't remember when I pulled the last IC chip. The wire strippers for emergency use only, but everything else reasonable.

While the rachet drive + bit assortment convenient, the drive handle is a bit large. Convenient for handling, maybe not for trying to squeeze into a tight space. I'll probably stick to my small screwdriver set for that.

Other Thoughts: Appreciate the advice from Santa Claus 4/8/2008 on rearranging the layout.

As stated in other reviews, the bits are held in the rachet drive by a magnet, but not strong enough to magnetize the bit itself. It's the socket attachment that has the ball bearing retainer. Only time will tell to see if the ball remains in place.

But for $15 on sale, with free shipping, just too much convenience to pass up.

Pros: Great kit for the price. Quality is good and has the items you need for basic to intermediate repairs.

Pros: This is nice little kit. I've been building/upgrading/working on desktops/laptops for a couple of years now and I've never needed anything more than what's in here. Tools are pretty good quality, too. Haven't had any break or anything.

Cons: None.

Pros: Contains all the fundamental pieces that it should. Got it on promo for nearly half price. Great quality for the price.
