5 out of 5 eggsGood affordable set of tools

This review is from: Rosewill RTK-045 45 Piece Premium Computer Tool Kit

Pros: 1. Most everything you need to assemble is in there.
2. All the tools are of a good quality for the price. Everything works just as it should.
3. Like the little box to organize all the leftover screws.

Cons: 1. Wish a couple of the screwdriver bits (especially the long philips) was magnetic so you could easily set a screw in a awkward place.
2. Maybe a couple of cable ties would have been nice, since they are cheap and handy.

Other Thoughts: If you aren't going to be assembling computers professionally then this is a great starting set of tools.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

This review is from: Rosewill RTK-045 45 Piece Premium Computer Tool Kit

Pros: I purchased this for $20 and must admit it is better than I expected. The tools are not top quality but they definitely do not feel cheap. I especially like the case relative to the cost. If you don't already have any tools or if you are like me and need a cheap temporary substitute these are well worth the price.

Cons: This is $20 people. If you find something to complain about you might want to think about loosening up your wallet a tad bit.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat set

This review is from: Rosewill RTK-045 45 Piece Premium Computer Tool Kit

Pros: These are great for the avg user who isn't going to be using the all day like its there job id go with the higher set for that but over the set seems nice. the ratchet IMO is very sturdy and well built.

Cons: Little tricky to put the anti-static wrist strap back in once out of the package that's about it and isn't enough to knock an egg for.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this set for its price and quality has pretty much has anything and everything a regular guy who upgrades his pc and or is building one would need.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Kit

This review is from: Rosewill RTK-045 45 Piece Premium Computer Tool Kit

Pros: Plenty of tools, nice case, compact

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I repair computers and have built a couple and the only tool I've really ever needed was a Philips-head screwdriver. Being a repair technician, I think Bobby Knight's advice is quite appropriate: Be in position to be in position - meaning have the tool when you need it.

One small suggestion: keep the ant-static wrist wrap in the bag after you open it because it's easier to put back under the elastic strap holder.

A small flashlight is also very handy.

5 out of 5 eggsComprehensive kit for your average builder.

This review is from: Rosewill RTK-045 45 Piece Premium Computer Tool Kit

Pros: *Aggressively priced
*Comprehensive set of tools
*Excellent build quality
*Sturdy case

Cons: *Not magnetized
* Doesn't include electrical tape.

Other Thoughts: The Rosewill 45-piece tool kit is comprehensive and boasts an impressive build quality- every piece from the pliers to the tweezers are surprisingly sturdy for an all in one kit, especially one so aggressively priced. Ive seen ratchets that cost as much as this entire kit that don't perform as well.

This is marketed as a computer toolkit, and it works perfectly for average builds and light modifications (Like replacing your power LED or HDD indication light) I have no real complaints about this product, there area a few easy rose-will could have slammed it out of the park like including a small roll of electrical tape, or a small package of thermal paste.

I wish i had been able to buy the magnetic version, which would have been perfect, a lot of people fear using magnetic tools when working on PCs but the fear is unwarranted, magnetized tools aren't even fractionally strong enough to damage any sensitive equipment.

If your looking for a comprehensive toolkit for your first build, or a replacement to several screwdrivers laying around- or simply looking for a compact mobile solution, look no further, the kit had done nothing but impress me and i would recommend it to anyone looking to build their own PC.
