5 out of 5 eggsA must for system builder's

Pros: In my case, a very good must have. It's perfect for an inexpensive tester.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have been very lucky with PSU's until one. I assembled a system and spent quite a bit of time on cable management every thing looked great. The PSU was DOA I immediately went and purchased this must have. Do yourself a favor test before installing.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: It does what it says it will do at 1/3 the cost of my regular one and it's smaller /smiles

Cons: umm,umm

Other Thoughts: Did not need it as I have one but figured at this price I would get a back up but went ahead and tested a few ps. 1 I knew was no good and all the others fine and guess what it worked and gave me my volts and all needed.
If this is 1st time using one go find a video of someone showing how it all works( I assume someone has made one) instead of getting flustered at directions as I have read on a few reviews.

5 out of 5 eggsworks!

Pros: simple and it works

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: it works and its straightforward.

And for the people I see that says theres no instruction, there is an instruction with the packaging. I don't know where these guys are looking at but there is a guide on how to use it and how to know if your PSU is working properly or not, what exact voltages each cable is putting out and what it should put out and whatnot.

4 out of 5 eggsGood buy for the price

Pros: It is definitely sturdy and well put together. I have several PSU testers in my arsenal and this one feels just as sturdy as a $50 PSU tester I purchased. I works for the purpose I intended it for.

Cons: The instructions that come with it can be a bit confusing for the average user because it "tells" you what to do, but most people wouldn't know right off the bat what a 4-pin auxiliary connector was versus a 4-pin molex. The graphical representations could be better.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it is a good product for the price. If you have experience with previous testers then you should be able to figure out the way this works without to much trouble.

3 out of 5 eggsalright

Pros: cheap power supply tester. Digital

Cons: comes with no instructions Thought it was broke at first would flash red then go black. Had a friend test a different power supply and it worked. Only conclusion i can come to is my supply was really dead. Would be nice to have a run down of error codes. or trouble shooting guide or something.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Works great, gives accurate readings, all the sockets fit correctly without any issues.

Cons: Sometimes it's hard to remove the 4-Pin Molex, almost afraid of breaking it when I do, and the 24/20-Pin Main Connector slot is sometimes the same.

Other Thoughts: Wish it had an On/Off switch so I could choose when to turn it on and off to test. The automatic turn on isn't very desirable when I want to plug in components to the other connectors for testing purposes.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother Great Rosewill Product

Pros: I've came to one of the ultimate questions with PC troubleshooting. "Is it the power supply or is it the motherboard"? Then I reach for the multimeter and go through the normal procedures. This little gem saves me a lot of time with that diagnosis. Connect it, power up the machine, and the screen will light up a color. Red is BAD. It's as simple as that. I have purchased many Rosewill items, and this one didn't disappoint. Aluminum construction is nice and durable. A great PSU tester for the price.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsObnoxious

Pros: Displays voltage different voltages down to 0.1V.

Cons: Has a really obnoxious alarm that goes of if it the PSU is bad or just not completely hooked into the unit. I had to dissemble the unit and cut the thing out after the first time I used it. Has an very useless and distracting pulsating pattern that takes up most of the LCD screen.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None

Cons: Tried two of these testers and both had problems. The first tester reported all five power supplies (2 were new, 2 were taken out of working computers, 1 was a suspected bad unit) as being bad. I RMA'd the first tester. The second unit was intermittent; sometimes the unit would not come on and other times it would show the 12 volt lines as being bad (zero volts). I checked voltages and my cheap volt meter showed about 12 volts. I also replaced my power cord and I still got intermittents. It's not worth going through the RMA process again.

4 out of 5 eggsSeems to work

Pros: Tests your power supply. Very fast results, seems to test multiple rails successfully.

Cons: Results sometimes too fast, it will say bad as the supply turns on occasionally for 1/8 second. Rather annoying beep associated with that. Have to plug in lots of cables when the 24 pin has all voltages
