Pros: Good switch.

Cons: Does not work. poor design.

Other Thoughts: Took a week to get this. Rather easy to put together, but does not work. Design problems make running it impossible.

Runs fine ya know, if you take it apart. Not much point to that.
Im rather mad right now. Since in another review they said they fixed the design flaw.

Cons: Horrible Product, I don't see why Newegg stains their reputation with it. Does not work.

Pros: could have been a good product for the value

Cons: But is does not work, as previous reviewers mentioned. The blades of the fun cannot rotate with main attachment on. if you remove main attachment it works, but then what is the point?

Pros: It's black like my mood right now.

Cons: What a monstrous piece of junk. Don’t kid yourself, this thing has not been fixed by the manufacturer as some of the other reviews have stated. Mine wouldn’t even run (right out of the box) with the main adaptor in place. Forget about plugging in the extensions.
Shame on Newegg for keeping this piece of junk in their inventory.

Pros: Not many, the design is a good idea but final product poor performance. The fan blades that create suction rub up against walls of product and burn out the motor...

Cons: First one didn't even work...Although shouldn't have been too surprised, the product feels cheap. Had to get RMA. New product not much improvement besides the fact that it turns on...

Other Thoughts: I am a very, very loyal NewEgg customer and would never go anywhere else, I just wish they would've at least tested it out before selling it to me.

Pros: - Heavy duty plastic housing

- Sturdy attachments

- Robust construction; highly impact resistant.

- Solid I/O rocker switch for power instead of cheap and flimsy, ergonomically designed switch.

- 4 AA batteries ensure a powerful motor with plenty of suction compared to other mini-vacs using smaller or less batteries.

Cons: - Extension tube for cleaning tips can be inserted too far, rendering unit inoperable because end of tube binds with the fan inside housing.

- Instructions need to include warning note informing consumer of this.

Other Thoughts: Previous models seem to have had a major problem with binding inside the housing due to interference with the fan blades. The model I received had no such problems as the first thing I did was take it apart and inspect it for such, having no problem with modifying the unit if needed.

I was actually expecting as much after reading other reviews and was pleasantly surprised it ran fine right out of box. One of the previous reviewers mentioned it worked fine once he used his Dremel to shave the tips of the fan blades to eliminate the binding.

Apparently the company wound up doing the same with a redesigned fan used in the models currently being produced because the fan on mine was molded to look like the fan tips had been machined. I quickly found the other design flaw giving others so many problems and how to avoid it.

tl;dr = DO INSERT EXTENSION TUBE TOO DEEP INTO HOUSING OR MOTOR WILL NOT WORK!!!

Other than that, excellent product all around and would recommend to others

Cons: This thing WILL not turn on unless you remove the main housing (funny, it's a fan then). Do NOT buy.

Pros: Absolutely NONE

Cons: To call this junk would be giving it more credit than it deserves. My granddaughter bought it for me for fathers day. I didn't have the heart to let her know it was garbage. I keep it on a shelf so if she asks I still have it, otherwise it would be history.

Other Thoughts: Even getting it "free" is no consolation. It's not even a good deal when getting it for nothing. Just a disappointment.

2 out of 5 eggsAdjustments Needed to be Made

Pros: Does the job but not much more... after I had to make adjustments to it

Cons: Shoddy workmanship. Does the company have a QA team?

Other Thoughts: After I received the product, I put some batteries in it and turned it on... nothing. I tried turning it on and off and couple more times, and I did notice a clicking sound. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the fan blades were hitting the top of the chamber and getting stuck. Surely, the Quality Assurance team would have noticed this immediately.

Anyways, since I didn't spend a lot of money on this, I decided to see if I can fix it. I popped off the cover (which the filter is attached to) and turn on the unit -- sure enough without any obstruction, the fan was spinning at full speed. I pulled out my Dremel with a sanding drum and began to shorten the fan blades. Eventually I took off about a 1/8" on each, then put the cover back on, and bingo, vacuum is fully operational.

It was nice that the cover can come off. Unfortunately, air and dust can leak through the gaps so it could get messy.
