Pros: -If your switch supports it, it tells you what switch in the stack and what port number -cable lengths, cable length to break -pings the router device. -works with intellitone probe so you can tone out the drop. -back lit screen. -blinks switch port. -able to set static IP on device. Cons: -cheeper feeling (don't get me wrong this thing has been banging around in my bag for years w/o any significant damage except scratches) -eats batterys -accessories are expensive -unit is expensive for the size. Other Thoughts: IMO best bang for the buck if your doing network troubleshooting and diagnostics. If you don't need cable certifications this is the device.
