Works great
- Pros: Makes my case look O-mazing with UV cathodes.
LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR:
Heat shrink works perfectly fine. I don't know if people miss the concept that inorder to make the heatshrink reduce in size you must apply heat....or if they are using like a lighter or matches...
But if you have a heat gun the stuff works so well. Looks like a job they would do at a factory somewhere :]
- Cons: the ends fray real easy on you, especially with the smaller wrap. Try and melt the ends with a lighter then put your cords through it, and if possible (like with three pin fans) take the connector off and insert the cords 1 by 1 till all of them are in and shove them through. Makes it less suspetiable to fraying.
- Other Thoughts: Go crazy! Sleeve everything, I know I did :]
My cat wasn't very fond of it though :[
Do It Up
- Pros: Looks great under a UV light. This looks better than the black wrap pre-installed on my PSU wires!
- Cons: The heat shrink sucks, it doesn't shrink very well. I'd recommend buying bulk tie-wraps, and heat shrinking over the tie wraps to help hold it in place, or using electrical tape. Could use some more blue tie wraps
- Other Thoughts: If you don't feel like pulling all the connectors off, you can run out of the larger size. The smallest size will only fit over an individual wire.
