I really wanted this to work
- Pros: Its small, light with nice build quality. Quick charging time.
- Cons: doesnt fit every type ear, not impressed with noise cancellation, VERY short talk time. Button system touchy and annoying.
- Other Thoughts: I think I will just tell the things I dont like about it. First my button issue. 2 buttons to do a list of muti functions is a pain. Its all in how long you hold each button and wait for the tone to tell you its in whatever mode drives me nuts. Go to answer a call and you might shut it off if held too long, simple tap doesnt always work because you have to pair the headset after each charging. I work in a shop so I really wanted the noise cancellation but it has been very hit and miss and works 50% of the time even trying to press it to my face to get good contact.
Fail.
Talk time is 4 hours, way too short for my needs. I will say it works well for those 4 hours and most people cant tell I'm on a cell as long as I'm in a quiet place. Its light so no discomfort from wearing it all day.
Works well, but fragile
- Pros: - noise cancellation works extremely well
- the sound is really good and loud
- people on other end will hear you perfectly
- Cons: - it's very fragile
- the ear hooks break easily
- the USB charger is non-standard, requires you to use Jawbone's proprietary cord/connector
- Other Thoughts: I used to own the original Jawbone 1 and it broke within 8 months. Then I purchased two Jawbone2 units, one for me, a gold one for my wife. They work really well and pair seamlessly with our iPhones. The downside is that these things are very fragile, I broke my first ear hook within the first month.
Not Worth The Money
- Pros: When it works, the sound is great. The person your talking to can hear you. It doesn't sound like your driving with the window down. And it looks great. Pretty box!
- Cons: FRAGILE. I just returned my second one. Each one did not work more than 2-weeks. I am waiting on the 3rd one, since there is no refunds only exchange. Maybe this one will last 3-weeks. Priced way too high for an unstable product. They forgot the research part of research and development.
- Other Thoughts: If your going to buy this, make sure you get the extended warranty that way you can keep returning it for a year. At some point the law of averages might kick in, and you'll get a good one.
