4 out of 5 eggsClean look

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Light weight. I have a HAF 932, and it's a pain to move that case around.
- Fans are actually not too loud.
- I don't like too many LED lights on my cases, this case only have 1 from the fan.

Cons: - The front pops out too easily.

Other Thoughts: Great case overall, I would recommend this.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Case

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Every thing was included, fans work great and the case is light and solid.

Cons: The entire front panel is garbage. USB ports are OK but reversed, headphone jack is completely unusable and there is a weird issue with the lighting. Also the red fan LED does not look as good as pictured.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend this model. Would recommend a better model from the same company.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Cheap Case for Office PC!

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: + Lightweight
+ Tool-less design for mounting works well enough
+ Front USB ports are at a nice position
+ Colors are subdued
+ Fans are quiet
+ Bottom mounted PSU

Cons: - Cable management is limited
- No place for SSD except to mount it on the bottom of the case or have an adapter tray
- Would have liked the tool-less mounting on both sides

Other Thoughts: Very minor, but the power button design isn't great. It's sort of flush with the case and narrow. Anyone with big fingers will find it annoying to push in. Overall, the case is a good value for the money. Pretty straight forward 'no-frills' design.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Strong.

Cons: Not enough space.

Other Thoughts: Ok, so I bought this case about a year and a half ago and never had any problems with it.

The past friday (01/08/2016) i was traveling with it to visit family, when i slid off the road because of snow and ice. I ROLLED my truck and this case saved ALL my components. It went through a freakin roll over and survived. I will never knock a cheap computer case again in my life. thats the sole reason i give 5 stars.

3 out of 5 eggsOK Case (but)

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Inexpensive. Bought 2 of these. Enough room for my GTX770 and Radeon 6970 cards witch are fairly large.

Cons: A bit flimsy. Both cases have upside-down front USB ports, witch would have been a deal breaker for me if I had known before purchase. However; I will not return them for that.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the price

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Cheap price
Nice case

Cons: Will not fit large graphics cards

Other Thoughts: Bought this case in a bundle but could not use it because my graphics card didn't fit, I've read online that some people had issues with installing the Hyper 212 EVO with this case, but it DOES fit but for me it was a little too close for comfort.

Still a good case if you are not using large graphics cards or large coolers.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent case on a budget

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Nice aesthetics with black interior and red/black exterior. Comes with 2 120mm fans, the one in the front has red LEDs. Fits a CM 212 EVO, but it is a very tight fit!. Cable management is okay, but you can't expect much from a case at this price.

Cons: Left side panel was dented when it arrived. There was no damage to the box or styrofoam, so this must have been damaged before packaging. Fixed this by bending back with some pliers.

Blue power LED doesn't match the rest of the case.

Both side doors are a bit weird to slide back on as compared to other cases I have worked with before.

Other Thoughts: Overall, good budget case. Other than the dent everything works well.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a case

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Got it in a package deal a little less than a year ago. I have a red themed build. Works for me. My 212 evo barely fits (under a cm of clearance). But it fits! Not very expensive either.

Cons: No USB 3.0 on the front.

Other Thoughts: Good inexpensive case.

2 out of 5 eggsWow....Sad product. Definitely not for beginners.

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: *Bottom PSU mount
*Decent airflow
*Nice design
*USB3 variant available (different SKU).
*External 3.5" expansion slot
*Fans use 3-pin connection vs Molex.

Cons: *Front panels plastic easy to break
*USB ports pop out easily when plugging something in.
*Front audio ports don't always work.
*PCI covers and expansion slots covered by perforated metal (expect bloody fingers).
*PCI screw holes misaligned
*Screw holes will not thread

Other Thoughts: My last case's front panel was falling off after some heavy abuse and 8 years of use, so I decided to buy a new one. 30 minutes after, I managed to fix the old case and decided I didn't want this. Contacted Newegg Customer Support ASAP to cancel the order, and my account said it was packing, but it had already left the warehouse. They said I could just reject the package or send it back. When it arrived, I decided to keep it instead. I regret my decision.

In the 10 years I've been building computers, I've NEVER had such difficulty putting a system into a case! Neither the provided motherboard standoffs, nor the ones from the other case seemed to thread properly into the standoff holes. Actually, none of the provided screw could thread into ANY of the holes. The PCI and 5.25"/3.5" expansions are covered up with perforated metal that require punching out, which will tear your fingers and hands up. Have bandaids ready. The PCI slots have no shields included. If you pop out a perforate that you didn't intend to use, then you're stuck with it. It seems like the biggest problem is that many of the screw holes aren't properly aligned or drilled to fit the screw.

I spent almost 3 hours struggling to put my system into this case with most of my time spent struggling to screw standoffs into place, fitting the MOBO I/O shield, and having to refit the CPU fan, since my motherboard manufacture thought it was a cool idea to put the CPU socket too close to the top-center fastening screw.

I'd return the thing, if it wasn't for the fact that I know it's going to be a pain to take this system out.

Ultimately, it's a case: it provides airflow; protects components; and looks better than a pile of plastic, wire, and metal sitting beneath a desk. I give it an egg for being technically functional.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent case

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing,

Cons: Not enough air flow for a high end PC or a PC with high TDP. Front headphone jack can sometimes not work right, causes a lot of static.
Not much room for cables.

Other Thoughts: This is a very good looking case, but looks only get you so far. If you have a high end PC or a PC with high TDP this is most likely not the case for you, this is good for low to mid range budget systems. Currently I have installed in this tower a FX 6300/R9 280 and temps are pretty good.
