4 out of 5 eggsDecent case

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing,

Cons: Not enough air flow for a high end PC or a PC with high TDP. Front headphone jack can sometimes not work right, causes a lot of static.
Not much room for cables.

Other Thoughts: This is a very good looking case, but looks only get you so far. If you have a high end PC or a PC with high TDP this is most likely not the case for you, this is good for low to mid range budget systems. Currently I have installed in this tower a FX 6300/R9 280 and temps are pretty good.

2 out of 5 eggsyou get what you pay for

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: usuable

Cons: Got a faulty case in which back fan was dead and the case side can't close properly. I ended up taking out one of the fans of my old computer to replace it.

Other Thoughts: Could always do a return, but just too troublesome to go through the process of 3 weeks to finally get it. Not worth the wait when you have all the other new parts of a computer.

5 out of 5 eggsHad this baby for 3 years now

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great case for all mid applications.. Built with this case back in 2012, it still looks new and have had no issues..
I added 2 more Red fans which really set this build off..

Cons: It's a Mid size tower, so only handle the smaller boards

Other Thoughts: I would buy this case again on another build.. It's not too light, and not as heavy as many of my other PC's I have..

1 out of 5 eggsNot worthy at all. Spend $5-$10 more and buy something better

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Nothing worthy to mention. Specs doesn't mention it but you can install a SDD on the case

Cons: First of all english is not my first language so please forgive me for any grammar mistakes. I have been building PC's for more than 2 decades so this is not my first PC. I have previously bought 2 rosewill cases and I haven't had no problem at all, but this one was the last disappointment.

First of all the case arrived with a big bent on one of the corners. I contacted newegg and they offer me a $10 gift card which is ok.

However the case is very cheap The materials are flimsy. You can bend any part of this case with just your fingers. The front panel is made of some sort of cheap plastic. I opened the whole front panel and one of the tabs that clicks into the case broker right there. The side lids are so thin (metal) that they bend just with the wind

The dust filter at the bottom is a joke. it is just a piece of fabric (no plastic frame) that keeps falling every time you open/move the case.

No USB 3.0

The specs don't mention it but it has space to install a 2.5" disk (SSD) at the very bottom of the hard drive cage. Also the holes to install the disk are so akwardly positioned that you will finish with your hard drives almost mounting on top of the ATX motherboard.

There motherboard panel doesn't have holes where you can route the internal cables so if you are not careful you will end with a big mess inside

The "screwless HDD system works but they only come with 2 (3.5") and 2 (5.25") which is not enough if you want to install a server.

2 out of 5 eggsnot happy

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: the case looked real good.it has filters all over to stop dust from coming in.the front snapped on and off real easy. made it a breeze to open dvd slot.

Cons: but when it came time to put in mother board, two of the holes for risers was under the lip of the case ,had a very hard time getting those two risers in. they say in features section you can mount two additional 120 fans. so i bought two. went to put them in and the bottom fan hits power supply.plus the two fans that come in the case, have a three pin power plug. my m/b only has two three pins plugs on it, one of them is for cpu.so i could only plug one of the fans in. will have to buy power adapter for other fan.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case for the Price

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great looking case, decent build, easy to use tool-less drive bays, fairly quiet fans, bottom mount PSU, full mesh front (in case you want to mod in a fan or two), Great looking I/O board, the rim of the power and reset buttons light up deep blue and red respectively, HD audio front jack, Room for 2 120mm fans on the side panel.

Cons: Power button is a little sunken in on one side, no USB 3.0 header, no cable management, Not enough stand-offs provided for ATX motherboard (was missing 2).

Other Thoughts: Let me say that for the money I do not consider any of the cons to be expected of this case aside from the power button and missing standoffs, and even those are not big deals to me. This is a great looking case, I actually installed a pretty beefy machine Intel 4960K with Corsair H75 liquid cooling, and a GeForce 770oc by gigabyte with the windforce cooler on it and everything fit in the case just fine. The front of the case looks great and I love the color of the power and reset buttons rim lighting, very deep rich colors. For the price of this case, I expected the build quality that it comes with so the power button is not that big of a deal I an I am betting that I can fix it with minimal effort. It is just a little sunken in on one side but it works just fine. I have a Blu-Ray drive, and two non SSD HD's in it and it does not make any tinny rattle noises when it starts up. Also, and again for the price, I was also impressed with the tool-less drive bay connectors. They are pretty slick given the price of the case. I'm not sure if this case would work for any dual SLI configs. I think everything would fit technically but cooling might get a little tricky.

I know I keep saying it, but I will just end on it again. Is this a perfect case, no. Is it one heck of case for the money, you bet! If not for the power button and standoffs missing I would have given this case 5 stars.

2 out of 5 eggsyou get what you pay for

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Inexpensive case of decent size.

Cons: I/O panel is poorly designed and flimsy. Power button died withing a few days of system build. Now I have to find a new cover for case or buy a new case.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case

This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE - Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Nice case, I have the older models of this as well. Very roomy and the PSU mounted on the bottom where it belongs is perfect.

Cons: Cable management is different with bottom mounted PSU. Needs at least one more set of hard drive mounting hardware.
