Pros: High build quality. Does a great job at powering my system with an OC'd FX-9590 and a R9 290 Tri-X. Nice assortment of cables. Well crafted cables, PSU, and packaging.

Cons: Some of the cables could be a little bit longer.

Pros: Stable
Quiet
Great value (I got it on sale)
Effecient as it's a 1050w which is way more power than is needed so it's not pushed to the limits at all. (I run two Zotac 970 Amp Extreme video cards in SLI, and 5820 i7)

Cons: I had to replace the first one. I had intermittent power on the 12v as connected to a psu tester.

Newegg replaced the the unit so that wasn't an issue, and the second one was just fine.

Other Thoughts: I've had SeaSonic over the years and they are provide very stable power (important to me cause I push the system hard with 3D rendering and ram gets touchy/crashy with cheap PSUs), so I been sticking with them. I'm sure there's others making great PSU's too, but I've had great results with Seasonic.

Pros: Great PSU. Very quiet. I haven't even heard the fan. The fan stays at low RPM.

Cons: Can't think of any. It is a little too big for me to fit a fan on the bottom of my case. But that doesn't bother me at all. Read the specs if size may be a concern.

Pros: Pretty good unit for what it is.

Cons: I've written 3 reviews before this. Two of them are repeated for some reason. Yes the customer service experience was super but.....not satisfactory when it came to the results. They didn't fix my problem and it took longer to find out they didn't fix it than anyone should expect.

Other Thoughts: I'm not here to bash Seasonic, that wouldn't be fair. For what they are competent at they are great little outfit. They claim that they repaired my unit, and I believe them so my only conclusion is that this unit just doesn't have the circuit design capable to run the latest tech. If you're considering a power supply for the new X99 series motherboards I highly recommend you avoid Seasonic. Go with a more current, capable and trusted outfit like Corsair. I only mention Corsair because that's the PSU I had to work with when I was TS'ing this units failure to power my new system, and the Corsair powered everything just fine. Good luck on your builds.

Pros: In response to all the gloom and doomers about Seasonic's CS. I have had a very good experience with them.

Cons: It still an out of pocket experience to ship the product back for repairs or replacement even with an RMA. Not sure how to beat that paradigm without boycotting online sales.......ROFLMAO....yeah that's not gunna happen. :)

Other Thoughts: I posted a review about the unit and Seasonic's customer service contacted me the next day. We walked through my concerns and a few TS tips and then I was recommended to apply for an RMA. That was the easiest RMA experience ever!! These guys reached out to me and did what they could to this point. I'm satisfied. I'll let you all know how it goes overall....if I remember that is. ;)

Pros: Customer service is great, so far. I posted a review a day or so ago and Seasonic customer service got a hold of me almost immediately. We discussed the issue I was having and I was guided to their RMA process. It was a breeze guys.

Cons: Like everybody else, I have to ship the unit to them at my expense. I'm not sure how to battle this besides boycotting online sales ..... ROFLMAO .... yeah that's not gunna happen. :)

Other Thoughts: Yeah, so I read all these gloom amd doom reviews about Seasonics CS and I didn't have one issue with them at all. They reached out to me. I'm digging it. I'll let you know how it all goes .... if I remember. :)

Pros: Looked nice, great cables, awesome paper weight. Gets one egg for the good customer experience during first RMA. Hmm, wondering if they RMA RMA's

Cons: Not sure what was wrong with it but the 1st one worked great for about a year and then one day I turned on system and the only thing that came on were all the pretty lights. Got me a RMA sent mine back and they replaced it with no problems. Well, around 6 to 8 months later, exact same thing happened again

Other Thoughts: I thought I was buying a high end psu so I could pull out an older Cooler master psu to keep as a back up. Keeping a back up around seems to of been my wisest decision thus far. I choose Seasonic because I had always read and heard that they were durable and reliable, now I am not so sure. I am left debating whether to try another RMA and sink more shipping charges into into this unit or give up and move to Corsair

Pros: Has most of the power cables you need. Just needed one extra CPU power cable to be perfect. Runs pretty quiet at low or high power need.

Cons: I had this unit for just over 30 days when the CPU/PCI-E plugs failed. Be extra careful when considering this unit.

Other Thoughts: Yeah .... had a pretty bad experience with the SeaSonic X-1050. I got the comp to POST at pre-build, then did a water cooled treatment and thought everything was pretty good until the failure. So, yeah, had to disconnect a lot of stuff to trouble shoot to find the PSU bad. SeaSonics rep for quality had me ignoring it as the problem until the end.

Pros: The PSU looks like a quality engineered component. It wasn't until I plugged it in that things went downhill...

Cons: I installed the SeaSonic PSU, hit the power button, the lights flickered on for a split second and... nothing. It took me awhile to figure out the problem was the power cord socket on the back. If I pushed sideways on the plug, the PC sprang to life. Once I let go, it died. I unplugged, reinserted and even tried a different power cord, but got the same result. This seems like a simple case of absent quality control.

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your review. Please note, all units are fully tested before it leaves the factory and as well, this applies to the AC Socket. Can it be possible that you did not properly insert the AC Cord into the Socket? If you are able to push it sideways, then possibly the AC Cord did not get seated properly. But again, it can be internal. The best thing I recommend is that you would send this unit to our USA office for RMA support.
