5 out of 5 eggsGreat little cube

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: with a little bit of imagination and a Dremel I was able to get a 200mm fan in the front of this beauty. system runs cool and quiet now. have a g3258 in there over clocked to 4.2ghz @ 1.199v on the stock cooler and this case has enough air flow to keep temps below 80° while running a variety of stress tests.

Cons: small space inside to work with, but it's a cube and if that makes you take off an egg then you shouldn't have bought it in the first place.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it.

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: Great size, full-size PSU and full-size GPU support (minor length limitations apply), and a good high-quality feel to it. It also pairs well with the CoolerMaster Seidon 120V for water cooling.
Understated design.

Cons: Power LED is blindingly bright, but you can use either a physical (tape) hack or bios option to fix that.
No optical drive option (but who uses those anyway?)

Other Thoughts: Like I said, I'm using it with a CM Seidon 120V cooler, which works very well. Like any ITX case it's going to be tight inside especially if you use a full-sized GPU, but it has some OK cable management stuff and is laid out pretty well. I had no problems with my build.
Looks good hiding in my entertainment center.

5 out of 5 eggsElite 110 - excellent choice for power-sipping systems

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: Looks good.
Material is solid for the price.
More than enough ventilation for a <200 W build.

Cons: No dust filter on GPU side air intake.
Wish there was a way to mount the PSU in a non-protruding fashion.

Other Thoughts: May want to mount the PSU fan-side down to use it as another exhaust if you system is not power-hungry. You probably don't need fresh air to cool the PSU. Mounting it fan-side down also damps any little noise the PSU fan produces.

To put my review into prospective, here's my system:
Corsair CX430M
Intel Core i5-4690
NVDIA GeForce 750 ti (w/o 6-pin connector)
One SSD
No spinning harddrive
Two sticks of RAM

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: Small, quiet, keeps components cool, looks sleek, can fit decent sized graphics cards, front USB 3.0 connectors, and space for more data storage. It also has a nice blue light on the front.

Cons: Hard to work with due to space constrains so expect to shift cables around a lot, won't fit many aftermarket coolers, andwish it had more USB front panel connectors

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very pleased with the case. Took an egg off because of the initial troubles with actually putting my components inside of it. I would recommend this for people who need an htpc case that has enough space for a couple of hard drives and is is very small. Cheers

3 out of 5 eggsDecent quality, and runs quite cool

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: With only the stock fan, this thing runs very cool and quiet. I am not overclocking and I am still waiting on a decent gpu so maybe what I said about running cool will change. But running an i5 4960 with a stock cooler has been great.
I like the hard drive mounting solutions for ssd drives
Easy case to work in if you don't overbuild

Cons: Learn from me and do your research!!!
Only supports a gpu with a length less than 210mm! And if the gpu you plan to buy has its power plug towards the back of the card, not the top, then you must account for that additional space as well. Also to keep in mind is the close proximity of the video card to the location of the 3.5" hard drive mounts. This may impede your gpu fan intake which could affect the performance of that card and raise the temperature of everything in the case.
Aside from the metal grill, it has a plastic front.

Other Thoughts: I recommend you buy this case if you are looking for a simple mid-range build that you won't be upgrading too often. At the time of writing this review, the best gpu I have found that will fit inside is a GTX 970 itx version. This is no slouch but you may be anticipating a ballsier build.
Hopefully this will change soon and you will have a wide range of cards that fit this case, but good luck.

4 out of 5 eggsFor the Wife's Steam Machine

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: Really well built and designed. The logo as the power button is awesome. USB 3.0 on the case. Completely SILENT.

Cons: I can't truly give any cons. If you pick this type of case, you know what you're in for. I DO however wish it was smaller than it really is.

Other Thoughts: Tight as heck to work in. Use a modular power supply. If you can go with a closed loop liquid CPU cooler, do it. If not, consider purchasing a slim CPU cooler. Stock ones fit, but not by much.

If you use a mechanical drive with this, place it on the left side of the top of the cage. Then it doesn't block the PSU or the GPU. And if you have a boot SSD, put that on the left at the top. That doesn't block the GPU either. Use the bushings for both to keep down on vibrations.

This case is dead silent. And the temps have been great. Even when pushed. My build is on all air.

The built in USB 3.0 can be used either for standard USB or 3.0. DO NOT plug both in.

If someone chose this case as a small HTPC or Plex server, it would be perfect. So far so good, and my Daughter loves using it for Minecraft.

5 out of 5 eggsCool

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: Nice price
Sleek look
Love the light up Cooler Master powerbutton on the front.
Plenty of spare screws and ties.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My first Mini ITX cube build and I like this cool little box. I have spare parts lying around and picked up a foxconn mini ATX board and it fit inside no problem. I put in a 430 Watt Corsair PS with my old corei3 and a radeon r7 240 8 gigs of gskills and I have a nice little machine the relatives visting can mess around on. Be warned tho if your building a mini gamer I would get a modular PS then as not much area to pack extra cables in unless you want to seriously block airflow and you do not want to this in this case.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall ITX case worth a little effort.

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: Room for front 140mm RAD, full size ATX PSU. Wide open space to work in, with solid construction throughout. Even space for Push/Pull configuration.

Cons: Almost fit a GTX660, it is in fact the exact same length, there is a perfectly positioned cutout in the case but it is about 1 inch too small for GPU heatsink to fit into, dremel fixed that. Fans/HDD are oddly positioned.

Other Thoughts: With a little creative thought this case turned into a wonder. I popped off the rivets and put the HDDs on the opposite side panel from the GPU this leaves the GPU free to get sufficient airflow. Also I jammed a Cooler Master 200mm fan in the top, it just fit.

5 out of 5 eggsElite 110 Mini-ITX Case

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: The easiest Mini-ITX build I've done. This case is very easy to work with. Easy access for my large fingers. Ventilation is very good and, if you need it, there is room to mount a 120 mm radiator.

I really like the HD mounting options. The documentation was excellent, and there is room for a real power supply.

Cons: Not really a con, but be advised that there is no way to mount an internal optical drive.

The darned power switch is lighted and blinks when the computer is in sleep mode.

Other Thoughts: I didn't, but I would recommend buying a modular power supply. It is, after all, a small case.

3 out of 5 eggsElite 110 review

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support

Pros: Small
Good airflow
3.0usb in front panel
Reset button

Cons: Power button

Other Thoughts: Make sure you know what your doing first time installing your components. If your build doesn't boot first try prepare for an awful experience dismantling each component. In my case, my power button on the front panel was doa so I had to switch the front panel power switch cable with reset switch cable in order to boot my system. So now I'm using the reset button as my power button to boot up. Which in my opinion is better but was a not so fun experience troubleshooting to find the issue.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Gopats,

We sincerely apologize for the trouble you had with our case. We can definitely help make this right by replacing that front panel. Would you be able to contact us so we can make this right?

Respectfully,

CMUSA Support.
