It is SLI, CrossFire and Quad Core CPU ready, and will add real boost to your beast machine. This modular PSU is designed to deliver maximum power with minimum heat. Instead of a small fan on the back of the unit, there's a large 135mm fan on the bottom, and the back panel is a minimally obstructive hexagonal mesh interrupted only by the power connector and switch.

More than you need
- Pros: Has one the best selection of modular cabling you could ever ask for and the Build quality is top notch! They replaced their older internals with excellent Nippon Chemi-con capacitors. The external finish is resistant to cosmetic damage with cabling that is all well sleeved. This is my second one in 2 builds if that tells you anything :) <3

- Other Thoughts: This item is more of a... Hey look what i got kind of buy. Unless you plan on running 8 HD's 4 Video Cards and a hugely over clocked i7 you wont use all the power this has to offer. Now the 850 is a great buy for lower side of High end.
Power
- Pros: Lot's of power. 6-12v rails each at 30A! Nice. I had a Thermaltake 700w Toughpower that was a wonderful PSU for 2 years and continues its use in another rig, but for 2xGTX295s, this is the beast that will feed the need.
- Cons: Extremely heavy, although I've never owned a quality PSU that wasn't.
- Other Thoughts: Be sure you have the space in your case for this. It's a couple inches longer than the normal PSU. I go Antec 900 and it fits nicely.

Works like a champ.
- Pros: Works great and looks great. I have never had an enermax PSU go bad so this is par for the course.
Was the perfect PSU for my build in both color and power output.
- Cons: The EVGA compatibility is a con but doing your homework about this kind of thing is standard practice. I don't use EVGA MB's so not an issue.
- Other Thoughts: The rash of whine reviews looks a lot more like one person bashing a product than anyone being stupid enough to not notice the compatibility issue. Just my two cents.
Great WHS Power Supply
- Pros: Lots of connectors, lots of power, great all around, I have had no issues to date.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Using it in a WHS with 21 hard drives.
Great PSU
- Pros: High power output, stable 12v rails. 85+ Efficiency. Tons of SATA and PCI-E connectors. I really like the sand-blasted texture.
- Cons: This thing is huge and heavy. I had to take the ventiliation fan off the top of my case because the PSU covers 1/3 of the hole for it. I would have liked to have one more modular cable with Molex connectors (My NZXT Zero case has 8 fans that have molex connectors, so 3 molex plugs makes me have to daisy chain them all off one plug which I don't like). The sleeving stops at the first connector, there is no sleeving between the connectors on the individual cables.
- Other Thoughts: This replaced an old 850W OCZ Game Xtreme PSU that fried my old mobo (12v output was running like 11.7 and 3.3 was at 3.6). I've been running load tests on the new setup for a few days and everything is running great. The supply isn't fully modular; the 24-pin mobo, 8-pin CPU (x2) and the first 2 PCI-E cables are built into the supply. Not a big deal, beause I use all but the second CPU lead. Maybe I'll use it when I upgrade to an octo-core system.
