5 out of 5 eggsLovin it!

Pros: Works great I even unlocked 2 extra cores. Man I love my half price quad core. Its even passed a 48hr stability test with the quad core zero errors. This thing even idles at about 30C with the stock cooler and about 45 at full load with all 4 cores.

Cons: Doesn't run hot enough to warm my living room. Lol
Hard to over clock beyond 3.8 without calc errors, but thats just fine for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsSchweet CPU

Pros: Fast dual-core goodness with plenty of on-board cache. Runs cool if you use Arctic Silver heat sink compound. Price point very favorable to a Core2 Duo with similar performance.

Cons: Stock fan could be quieter. Not that it's loud, but it's not whisper quiet like an aftermarket cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU

Pros: Unlockable 3rd and 4th cores. Quad core for 80 bucks Cool and fast. up to 3.2ghz with just freq adjustment

Cons: Get these b4 AMD or newegg realize the new market of core unlocking and jack up the price

Other Thoughts: Mine seemed a little unstable with the 4th core unlocked. I went to 3 cores and everything smoothed out. Prolly do some more tweaking and comment later, RIG Asus m4a77D mobo..this cpu w/unlocked 3rd core pumped up to 3.2ghz.gskillddr2 10600..evga gts250 OC,,,corsair tx 750 and rosewill cruiser black gamer

5 out of 5 eggsUmmm. Yeah, baby.

Pros: Unlocked the other 2 cores last night, so now I'm running quad core at a bargain price.

Pairs nicely with my new Gigabyte mobo, which comes with Easytune, which is a nifty widows based overclocking application.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: For a budget based upgrade, I fail to see how this is a bad deal.

2 out of 5 eggsTo Build a PC or Buy it?

Pros: When your looking at building a computer, you need to pick the right processor that will go along with the motherboard you either have or one that you purchased as well. If you get the wrong one, your stuck with it so, better hope you can use it some place, you cannot replace it or anything else. There has to be a better way to do that part. But, I was lucky and had another pc that this one fit and, I didn't loose everything on it. it's running goodnow.l.

Cons: Can you overclock the processor so that you can run it to the fullness of it? I'm doing it but, to keep it cool I used the fan that was on the old processor not the new one, that thing was needed seems I could not swap it out for the processor that I really wanted and had to buy another one as well.

Other Thoughts: The return policy or exchange policy for a processor is. Buying from here is good if it right - if not you have just lost a lot of money and they don't work with you!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Unlocked 3rd core in Asus M4A78LT-M LE

Cons: What's negative about a cheap CPU that is running an extra core ?

Other Thoughts: Hopefully this is a massive upgrade over my Athlon 64 x2 3800 I had in my socket 939 system. Havent played any games yet, but I don't doubt it will be nice.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I was able to unlock this chip, making it a quad-core with a dual-core price tag, not to shabby. My entire setup (CPU, Motherboard, Memory, & server case) came in under $300.

Cons: None...

Other Thoughts: AMD Phenom II X2 545 Callisto: Now running quad-cores
4GB Memory DDR2 800: purchased localy
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA78LM-S2H
Norco RPC-230 2U Server Case: Rack Mount

All under $300 bucks...
