ORDERED A SET JUST TO HAVE
- Pros: Total Overclocking madness. Fast.
Will run and overclock well in any system.
I have run them at 1280 without a stutter.
Will boot and run in any system. If you have a system that doesn't want to get along with other RAM, plug some of these in.
- Cons: Unfortunately. They are fat and usually won't fit into side-by-side slots without peeling the GeIL emblem off. It's not that much of a con.
- Other Thoughts: I bought another set just to have on the shelf. GeIL is getting hard to find for now.
Whats not to love?
- Pros: I bought this RAM to upgrade my computer from 2G to 4G. I already had 2x1GB sticks of a previous type of Geill memory of the same speed and type. I placed 2x1GB of this type and they have worked seamlessly. I have had no problems with compatability and it has actually made Vista Pro OS show the use the correct amount of RAM rather then always taking 45% of total RAM available.

Excellent product
- Pros: Not hugely expensive for the speed and reliability; I'm not a fan of mega-buck RAM brands cuz too many of 'em pull in the bucks for the name ONLY. I got these for a Asus P5K with a Q6600, and I've only overclocked moderately at this point, but this RAM is soooo rock solid, I have no worries at all using it.
- Cons: The included heatsinks are a little large, as some other reviewers have already written. May be a problem if you're using lower-capacity modules and more of them on motherboards with little wiggle room for them.
- Other Thoughts: NewEgg got these to me quick and easy--faster than they said they would originally, too, so what's not to love? Good product, good price, great service--and there was a rebate on these for $30 (I just got the check today)--ya just gotta love NewEgg. Not only love 'em, but of most of the hardware places out there, they're one of the few I TRUST, as well.
