Logitech’s SBF-96 PS/2 mouse gives you the comfort of an ambidextrous hand grip and the precision of optical technology. The SBF-96 offers you precise cursor control, and the smooth scroll wheel lets you fly through your documents, and applications. This great basic mouse is ideal for lobby or trade show terminals, home with children, or any other place where mice might need to be replaced frequently due to less-than-gentle treatment!
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: - works OK for an optical mouse...
Cons: - Squeaky, feels cheaply built - Does NOT work well on black desktops.... And, to be fair, this is true of most optical mice - many optical mice have problems with black, glass or shiny surfaces. As my desktop is black, I had problems with the tracking and ultimately ditched this mouse for a Logitech LS1 Laser Mouse, which works great on my desk...
Other Thoughts: - If you have a black or highly reflective desktop, or do not like using mouse pads, I would suggest you look at Laser mice, such as the Logitech LS1...

Pros: This mouse is fantastic for the light user. It is comfy for those with small hands, and is built very well. You could probably drop this mouse a few times without it breaking. Buttons and scroll wheel have a nice tactile, clicky feel.
Cons: Only 800 dpi, enough for a light user, but not good enough for even the casual gamer.
This mouse is also lightweight. Some might think this is a pro, but from the nice weight tuning system of the G9x, a light mouse is disappointing.
Other Thoughts: This mouse can be too small for some. I use a G9x because it has a very wide grip. This mouse was for a friend who mainly surfs the web and edits documents. If you want to use this for gaming, look for something else.

Scroll lock doesn't work

Tech Level: high - Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: It's cheap
Cons: The scroll lock does not work. Period. I even downloaded the driver and nothing. I've seen other posts on this issue with no solution. Next time I'll 1. not buy a mouse 2. spend more than $8.49 Don't buy it, it's a piece of junk

Do not buy

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: None
Cons: Left mouse button failed within less than 1 month, requiring multiple clicks to register.
Other Thoughts: S/H too high for such a basic product. I visited Goodwill and picked up a Microsoft USB Optical Mouse for about 5 bucks. Couldn't be happier.
