2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works as a mouse.

Cons: Its switches are unbelievably noisy. When I play Solitaire whole house is coming to me to give me advices. Not advices about the game, but to throw the darn thing away, because they cannot quite well watch the TV because of the noise.

Other Thoughts: It is a shame Microsoft does not make the Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 1000 any more. It was probably the best one I have ever had.

5 out of 5 eggsGood mouse

Pros: Works like it should. I only need a two button mouse and I got it.

Windows Update downloaded the files for it and now I have a control center (includes keyboard) to configure the mouse. That's a plus.

Cons: None.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks but . . .

Pros: It works - but see cons, it was inexpensive, nice looking, got free shipping . . .

Cons: It's too small for larger hands, my button fingers are about about 3 and 3.38" in length. The over all size issue is aggravated by the fact that the primary buttons are "surrounded" (at the front) by the mouse body. (My older mice had the button panels extended to the very front of the mouse.) This means that longer fingers will naturally rest on the front surround, not the button panels. When you go to click, you will wind up pressing on the surround and then having to pull your fingers back to perform the click.

Other Thoughts: This mouse is about 4.25" front to back versus 4.88" for my previous MS mice. This difference wouldn't have been a problem if the button panels had extended to the front of the mouse body. As it is, unless you have smaller hands, this mouse could be aggravating. Not sure it's worth returning, so I might try cutting away the front surround or extending the button panels. (Which it too bad since it is a nice looking mouse . . . )

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cheap Mouse

Pros: Great little mouse. I've had mine for 4 years now and it's still going strong. Cheap, durable, and easy to articulate. Purchased mine for $10 at another store, and it's been great ever since.

Cons: None that I can see. A higher DPI would be nice, but hey, it's a cheap basic mouse. No other complaints.

Other Thoughts: If you purchase this mouse you will be very happy with it. I've used mine for 4 years and it's main use is hardcore gaming and it doesn't skip a beat. It is comfortable in your hand and very easy to articulate.
