5 out of 5 eggsNot much to say that hasn't already been said

Pros: -Affordable
-keeps your cpu nice and cool even when overclocking
-out performs any other fan style cooler that I have ever used
-fairly quiet
-durable, works for the longhaul
-Truly compatible with many different sockets unlike many other brands that claim to be, but in reality don't fit all the advertised sockets correctly.

Cons: none come to mind

Other Thoughts: This is simply the best cpu cooler in it's class/price range. I have tried many others only to be let down. Trust me if you are on the fence about spending an extra $10-$15 on this cooler over a more affordable one, it's well worth it. Don't waste your money on junk, you will only be cheating yourself. I have tried many of the other coolers in the $25-$70 price range and have always come back to the Zalman after being disappointed.

Some people have complained about the setup being a little bit hard. I guess some people never learned how to screw in two screws with a screwdriver.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cooler, but won't fit Sabertooth MB

Pros: Best air cooling device hands down. Temps drop like flies.

Cons: Huge. Intel installation bracket will not fit Sabertooth Z97 motherboards due to bracket latch placement. Cases with fans installed on the side door might not accommodate this heatsink if not wide enough (i.e. to be sure you need full size tower).

Other Thoughts: It's definitely a great cooler, probably the best out there. Very disappointing, however, that the coolest cooler won't work with the coolest motherboard (Sabertooth) due to its huge size and motherboard's confines caused by the protective shroud.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, mid sized cooler

Pros: Easy to install on AMD motherboard.
Stress tested the CPU with Prime95 and CPU never went about 59 C
Couldn't hear the fan over the power supply fan
Very reasonable price for the performance
Great size for mid-sized towers or larger
Is designed so that you can easily position which way you want the fan to blow

Cons: It's little bit bigger than I was expecting, but it still fit pretty well and didn't get in the way of the hardware.
Instructions might be a little hard to follow if you've never installed something like this before.

Other Thoughts: This was a replacement for a failing stock fan for a client's computer. Passed stress test with flying colors. Great price for this, I will be buying again if I need one.

5 out of 5 eggsBest. Period.

Pros: I've had one of these on one of my desktop boxes for several years. Absolutely rock solid. The fan seems to be eternal. It's quiet. It cools with startling efficiency. I absolutely LOVE this cooler. So of course I just bought another one.

Cons: Nothing wrong with this thing whatsoever, unless maybe the bulk of it is a problem in a small case.

Other Thoughts: It's pretty. In structure and in function, it is elegantly engineered.

5 out of 5 eggsThe cooling duke, the cooling.

Pros: I have this set up in line with the push/pull of my case. At first i wasn't impressed, but then i turned it 90 degrees ( I didn't realize it installed 4 ways at first) so that it exhausted out in line with my rear exhaust fan and it gives better cooling than any of the closed system liquid cooling i've seen.

Cons: The bracket system for amd doesn't fit very snug. I can easily twist it back and forth on the cpu, but it doesn't seem to effect it's ability to cool, just seems weird. The alignment prongs are just not very effective on it.

Other Thoughts: Took my 8350 @ 4.7 from 70 plus C at full load to never going over 60. Also my idle temps went from around 30C to under 20C. I'm still trying to figure out how it gets so low just moving air lol.

5 out of 5 eggsZalman CNPS9500A-LED

Pros: Third time I've bought this. Never been disappointed. My only choice for aftermarket air cooling. It comes with a controller as well. LED on the fan.

Cons: Directions are changed somewhat from last purchase. If I didn't know better, I would have had to do some Googling to determine which way the air flowed with the fan. (Fan pushes air through by default, not pull). Copper blades will cut you if you're not careful. Still a bit of a pain to install, but that's mostly because I have large hands.

Other Thoughts: I will only buy two aftermarket coolers. This one for air cooling, and a Corsair H100i for water. And you will have to pump some serious juice to your CPU for this to not meet your cooling needs.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Fan!

Pros: This fan was easy to install and keeps my CPU nice and cold, whether at stock speed or overclocked. I've used Zalman coolers since the Pentium-2 days. Despite trying other CPU coolers, these are reliable, stable, and definitely superior in my opinion to others out there.

Cons: Make sure you carefully read the installation instructions. Most of these coolers are universal (they can work with multiple configurations) and include hardware to make that happen. The instructions are clear and easy to understand, just be sure you understand the CPU socket you're using.

Other Thoughts: Heat is a big concern if you're overclocking. Unless you're looking to increase your CPU speed 150%, this cooler is amazing and will tackle quite a bit before getting reaching that hot point.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: 1. Easy to install
2. Good design
3. Comes with thermal paste packet

Cons: 1. Doesn't come with mounting bracket for AMD processors. Our plastic clip on board broke off. Good thing I had a spare from an older system build.
2. Directions don't tell which way the air will flow on board. Installed in incorrect direction but not such a big deal as is Airflow direction should be clearly illustrated in directions or have an arrow on copper part or something of that nature...
3. Cheapo fan speed adjuster. I just hooked to board instead of installing this gimmicky thing. The dial wasn't in the correct orientation either... I'll stick to the motherboard for fan speed OR use a controller module that tells speed of fans and have controls that way. Would also indicate temperature also...

Other Thoughts: Good price and would recommend. But personally I would stick to some more expensive ones as this was for a customer. Great cooling though.
