super duty card
- Pros: pulls 17615 on 3dmark 06 default settings.q9550 overclocked to 3.5ghz

- Cons: didn't buy sooner.
- Other Thoughts: the 4870 i tested on this got 17660 on 3dmark 06. i like both chip sets, but for the money this is the one to get. hooked up to my LCD TV at 1368x768 so this is perfect. runs like this on a $50 motherboard. p5kpl-cm. my 9800gt 1gb was moved to my other computer got 16660 on this system. my case is cm scout. best 90 I've ever spent. highly recommend. thank you B F G!
This card is HUGE
- Pros: Fast, fairly quiet, and runs at just above room temperature. Ubuntu had no trouble finding it. It also looks cool, in its tank-like way.
- Cons: I'm glad it has a double-width bracket, because I'm afraid one screw wouldn't be enough to hold it.
- Other Thoughts: When I first booted my computer, the fan started up full - sounds like a jet taking off. It hasn't gone above a whisper since then, though, so I'm not worried.
Amazing card
- Pros: Fast card. Runs Crysis on high very smoothly. I didn't have much time to check out the performance (as this was a gift to my brother), but from my experience with the card, it was a great deal.
