Very Impressed
- Pros: No problems with the drivers in the short time I've been using it. Right now I'm running it clocked in at 940Mhz core and 1160Mhz VRAM. At these settings it clears Vantage on High with no artifacting and my score went up from H6153 on my 512MB HD4870 (tested on a clean boot) to H7623 on this 4890 (without trying a clean boot yet.) That's something like 24%. How can you NOT love that?
- Cons: ATI Overdrive clocks mine in at 990Mhz GPU and 1190Mhz VRAM, but it artifacts like mad at those settings in 3DMark Vantage. But let's be honest, that's a ridiculous increase from the stock speeds of 850/950.
- Other Thoughts: Only had it for a few days but what I've seen so far is truly amazing me.
Nice Increase in Performance
- Pros: Runs cool(44c idle @ 38% fan speed) (57-60c load @ 60% fan speed)... and fan noise is not an issue for me. I gained a nice increase with bench marks in Vantage and 3DMARK06 scores, plus very good in game performance. Overall very pleased so far.
- Cons: None really...
- Other Thoughts: I replaced a 1 year old ASUS 4870 512mb card, which has run awesome from day one, with this HIS 4890. I hope the reliability of my new card proves to be that of my previous one. Newegg delivered my package in 2 days and offed this card at a great price of less than 200.00 after all discounts, rebates and promo savings, which was less than what I paid for my 4870 last year...NICE !..... Great job Newegg, best prices and customer service anywhere !.... :)
My system : HIS 4890, Gigabyte X48 DS4, C2D E8500@3.8GHz, 8GB G.Skill DDR2 1066 PC2-8500 @ 5-5-5-15 @1.2v, Zalman CNPS9700, ABS 900w modular PSU, 2 WD 640GB HHD...NZXT Apollo mid-Tower case w/3 Antec 120mm fans...etc,etc....

Burnt out like the other reviewer pointed out
- Pros: worked wonderfully while it worked. ran all my games with butter smooth frame rate.
- Cons: It burnt out after 6 months of casual usage. just EXACTLY like the other reviewer said (Masema) below. the thing just went poof all of a sudden while i was gaming and would not boot back up. and the fan spin up 100% like crazy. no overclocking at all what so ever, the thing just died. upon close inspection and process of elimination found out that it's the video card circuitry towards the tail end of the card got burnt out. like Masema pointed out, no visible sign of burn but an obvious smell of burnt circuitry at the tail end of the card.
- Other Thoughts: I have owned countless video cards in the past 12 years and been building computers for almost a decade. this is the first time i have a video card actually "fried" on me. i don't need to say more, you be the judge. This will sure be the first and last product i will buy from HIS company... guaranteed!

Excellent card
- Pros: Pros: it can be easily flashed to use with OS X. Fast, and it doesn't get nearly as hot as my 8800 GT did. The latter card died, and so got replaced with this.
- Cons: It's not a 5870? Heh.
Gamer or not
- Pros: This card is so powerful that it required extra watts 2 P.C 6pin and 8 pin (8Pin is 2x the power of a HDD)
anyways so far so good but i had to make my own Bios configuration changing the bios for Fan because this cards runs at 60C Idle and thats about 20-25% fan speed i mean cmon? you can have a card runnig for months w.o shut down on 80% fan speed so the bios i made it like 30c-45c 38% fan speed getting 37C-41C(depends on area Temp) when it goes higher than 45c Fan increase 3% per 5C never reached a Temp of 65+ even after HOurs of playing Crysis Warhead at ULTRA High settings but the thing is HIS and other companies prefer to sell cards with no noise at all so they make the fan runs as low as posible but always havinga a Temp belo 60C ( if you let that Bios on this card when you playing a game or doing some Work you will get over 75C and thats not good at all considering some cpu shut down after 60C but this is GPU anyway BUY THIS CARD :)
- Cons: waiting the bill also the card is too big not recomended if you having Micro ATX if you have a Full size then this is allllllLLLLlllLLLlll you need for 1-3 years
Honestly none important.
- Other Thoughts: the card is heavy and nice designed pretty hot and hot Temp when running games :P
