Good ram, heartbreaker
- Pros: Cheap and fast. Lifetime warranty.
- Cons: They seem to forget everything when the computer is turned off. Every time I turn the PC on I say, "Do you remember me, my love?" and all she says is "Have we met?" Woe am I, to crave the lasting companionship of a hard drive but require the quick gratification of a DDR2 stick. She knows everything about me; all my passwords, documents, games, and usage habits. She never seems to mind being used for prefetch, but as soon as she finishes her job she forgets everything about me. To her our relationship is purely physical. Sometimes I wonder if I am using her, or if she is using me? Am I just some throwaway toy she uses to get her kicks?
Alas, NVRAM; if only you ran faster, we would be together forever.
Or perhaps a solid state drive can fill the hole this memory has left in my heart?
For now, too expensive, but tomorrow...
Love can wait for tomorrow.

- Other Thoughts: Oh, and the rebate is a PITA. I ordered mine the Thursday before Labor Day weekend so they didn't show up until the next Thursday, and then I had to wait until Monday to print out the rebate at the school computer lab. I cut it pretty close (postmarked on 12th day)
Great Memory
- Pros: This is very stable RAM, and very overclockable. With 2.0V, i can run them at 4-4-4-12 timings at stock speed of 800mhz. Overclocked to 1066mhz i run them with 5-5-5-15 timings. Vista score of 5.9 either way, and they look really cool on a 680/780i board. Nice looking heatspreaders as well.
- Cons: Vista and XP can't utilize 4GB of RAM. SP1 recognizes i have 4GB, but only 2.5 is available. I'd go 64-bit, but i had alot of issues with Vista 64. So i guess it's more of a futureproofing thing at the moment. This is not the RAM's fault though, it has no con's.
- Other Thoughts: Currently running at 1066mhz 5-5-5-15 at 2.0V with an overclocked Q6600 ES chip at 3ghz, Evga 780i board, BFG 9800GX2, 150GB Raptor, 1TB Western Digital HDD's, PC Power and Cooling 1KW PSU, Antec 900 case.

Worked fine for 7 months, then dead
- Pros: Reasonable price, reputable manufacturer
- Cons: Died after 7 months.
- Other Thoughts: Waiting to hear from ocz about RMA. I understand there are defects in memory modules, I just must be unlucky, this is the second time I've ever had to RAM memory, both times now ocz, I'm seeing a pattern. Gonna just stick with gskill from now on.

Dual channel sticks don't work together
- Pros: Worked fine for about a year.
- Cons: For some reason the dimms generate errors and blue screens if i run them together. Both sticks test fine alone, but when I put them together in either dual channel or single they mess up.
- Other Thoughts: Tried everything i could think of including varying the settings and voltage. For a while i thought it was my motherboard, but my wife's ram works fine in it.

Great choice for gaming
- Pros: Very fast and affordable RAM. My friends told me this was a pretty good set of memory for gaming and I bought it when I had the money. Had it for a month and I'm so glad with the performance results
- Cons: The only real con is that you need a 64-bit OS to use all 4 GB. However when I get Windows 7 64-bit I'll be even happier.
- Other Thoughts: If you have the money buy this set, because you won't regret it
