Pros: Big capacity. Reasonably fast. Reasonable power usage. WD quality.

Cons: Not a 7200 rpm 1TB drive :)

Other Thoughts: I put this in a 13.3" MacBook Pro 2.53ghz, all my data transferred right over and the MBP recognized it no problem. WD Blue is good compromise between speed, power usage, and capacity.

Pros: After upgrading from an 80 GB drive I don't know what to do with all my free space!!!! Very quiet.

Cons: May not have speed of latest SSDs.

Pros: Works!
Been running Win7x64 on this thing for about a week in my Gateway, no problems thus far. Runs as cool or cooler than the 5400rpm 320gb gateway it replaced. Actual drive size is 597gb.

Cons: Not bigger? No lowered gb/$ ratio for largest 9.5mm drive

Other Thoughts: Not sure if I'll keep the 640 in here or move it into my ps3... I like the idea of having tons of storage in both. Might end up putting the 320 in my PS3 instead.
