Pros: Quiet, fast, and cool. No issues after installation. Copied 400GB worth of video to it right away.

Cons: The Deskstar name still hurts my sensibilities.

Other Thoughts: Since Hitachi bought the Deathstar line from IBM, I've owned 6 of them ranging from 80GB to 500GB and have yet to have one fail. Their 2TB drives seem to have a much lower fail rate than the Seagate 1.5TB drives but are priced much more competitively than Western Digital's. I'll be picking up 3 of those within the next two weeks.

Pros: It is still as fast as it was when I first got it. Pretty dang fast. Couldn't have asked more for a hard drive for a great value.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: When I decide to rebuild another computer. Instead of going with this for storage and a raptor for gaming. I will just get another one of these for raid.

Pros: cheap, good amount of space

Cons: This thing is terrible. The first few weeks it was working fine, and was showing no signs of any problems. I purchased this for the computer that i just built, and have only had it for about a month. 1 month I've had this drive and it has already failed. Very Disappointed
