This Lite-On 20X DH-20A4H-06 drive writes 4.7GB of data in about five and a half minutes to DVD+R, and supports all DVD formats. Worked for what I needed. DVD+R DL Book Typing

Pros: BookType BitSetting worked fine for DVD+R DL set to DVD-Rom. Quiet. Easy to use. Inexpensive when you can get the free shipping.

Cons: I have found none

Other Thoughts: I almost didn't purchase this because of all the reviews stating how loud it is. I am glad I did though. I cannot even hear this this running myself. Maybe I got lucky, but then again I don't burn much at full speed. I Burn the DL at 4x and the single layer dvd's at 6x and I hear nothing from it.

I prefer to go a little slower just to be sure that all the data gets on there properly. For those of you looking for a drive that you can booktype sing the lite-on utility, this one will do. I tried three other drives and even though they said they would booktype, none of them worked for what I needed. I get a quality burn that appears to be better than some of the others. A++++ for this one

Pros: Burns well with Verbatim discs...Only had a few coasters in a few hundred burns.

Cons: Sounds like the Space Shuttle taking off when first starting a burn at anything more than 8X speed.

Other Thoughts: If you can get by/ignore the noise and vibration...actually a very reliable burner!

Not bad for beginner level with some help

Pros: Went in simply enough, a bit loud in burning mode, but so far no other issues.

Cons: Would like it to be a bit less noisy. Instructions would be good for someone who doesn't have a tech friend to help them!

Other Thoughts: Overall in the short time I've owned this, I've only burned CD's, so no experience doing DVD's yet. Make sure if you don't have someone to help, you get one.

Pros: This is great DVD burner and I had it installed in my computer since April of 2008 and still working strong. It is a little noisy but it is worth the price. Not many coasters at all.This is a good quality DVD burner and it was easy to install.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: It is a little noisy but it works great.

Pros: I have had my Lite-on burner for 4 years and have burned 1000's of movies,Lite-on burners are the best by far.
