Great burner!
- Pros: inexpensive and great highspeed burning quality.
- Cons: oem, no cable, no nero, non-lightscribe, i knew.
- Other Thoughts: same as lite-on DH-20A3S and sony DRU-190S. great burner!
ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS!
- Pros: piece of garbage doesn't deserve any pros.
- Cons: ABSOLUTE JUNK!!!! Will lock up a WinXP Pro Installation and fail to respond at "Installing Devices". Troubleshot the problem for 2 days and originallty thought it was my Intel DX38BT...it was this pathetic clunker. I bought 2 (always do) - neither worked. Traded out with an Asus and flew through installation no problems.
- Other Thoughts: And I heard a voice from the midst of the fire say "Sony shall become a partner with OptiArc, and they shall manufacture a device for etching patterns into strata...and for reading patterns etched into the strata. But lo unto you consumer, for ye shall purchase this device because it is in part called a SONY - and this device shall fail thee. Ye shall gnash your teeth and it will be a $55.oo loss unto you and your budget."
