Disappointing
- Pros: Fills a gap in your Wii game catalogue. The controls are (mostly) great, and highly customizable. Point-to-shoot is better than a joystick, and, arguably, even better than a mouse.
- Cons: Levels are pretty lame, until the last few which are just frustrating. Most of the fun weapons are underused. The story is insultingly stupid; and the campaign can be finished in an evening. A lot of elements (sound effects, level and enemy designs) are distractingly similar to (ripped off from) Halo.
- Other Thoughts: Halo - that is, the first Halo, released in 2001 - does most of what The Conduit does, better.
As for the Wii? Metroid Prime 3 is still a better shooter, and it's barely even in the genre.
Worse game.
- Pros: None.
- Cons: I played this game for 30 minutes. The multiplayer doesn't work, all I get is a black screen. The singleplayer itself isn't even no where near fun, it's boring with a bad storyline.
- Other Thoughts: Avoid at all costs.
Fun Multiplayer
- Pros: Easy to use online multiplayer.
Controls are decent once you get used to them. Some fun weapons.
- Cons: I wish there were more character skins to choose from.
Sometimes after using a melee attack, my gun is pointing in a random direction..
- Other Thoughts: I think this is a good buy if you also convince some friends to get it as well. Play a few hours by yourself to get used to it, then go wail on each other online.
