Other Thoughts: I might wind up buying a second one of these knives... for a completely unrelated purpose: cutting down cardboard boxes for recycling. I left this knife on the table, and lazily reached for it first when I had a big cardboard box to cut down, and this knife proved to be better for that purpose than ANY other knife I've ever tried to use, including the 3.5-inch-long X-Acto knife blade that I normally use. I didn't feel like I was fighting the knife nearly as much, and it was much less (perceived) effort. It seems to be the same qualities that make it so good for whacking at veggies - the razor edge, the very thin blade, the low-friction coating, and the depth of the blade - that make it so good for whacking at boxes. Of course I don't wanna use the same knife for both, so gotta get another one!

Pros: well balanced extremely sharp edge, edge holds up very well.
Cons: coating has minor flaking, not a problem though.
Other Thoughts: will buy more when price is right
