Step up to the MSI N670 PE 2GD5/OC VGA card for a new level of gaming experience with amazing visual brilliance and environmental interaction in the blockbuster titles. Based on the graphics-optimized 28nm Kepler architecture, the GeForce GTX 670 packs powerful SMX shaders and abundant amount of memory, which deliver reality-redefining performance to render a smooth, true-to-life imagery in the FPS, RTS, MMORPG and RACING games. The GPU Boost technology extracts more performance by dynamically increasing the clock speed when it's needed most.

More powerful than reference board, this new GTX 670 Power Edition is based on the MSI Power Edition architecture which incorporates Triple Overvoltage, a strengthened PWM enabling an impressive 22.5% boost in overclocking potential compared to the standard design. The new Twin Frozr IV Thermal Design keeps the card cool and MSI's exclusive Dust Removal technology ensures that the cooling module remains free of dust for optimal cooling performance. In addition, Propeller Blade technology offers 20% more air flow than conventional fans, effectively reducing temperatures by up to 20°C and noise levels by 11.7dB. The MSI GTX 670 Power Edition uses Military Class III components that give overclockers a level of quality and stability they can count on. The power, cooling, and other components of the MSI GTX 670 Power Edition incorporate more functions and technologies than the reference board, making it the choice of those looking for superior overclocking performance.

  • newegg MSI Power Edition Architecture Boosts Overclocking Potential by 22.5% The MSI GTX 670 Power Edition graphics card is based on the MSI Power Edition architecture: Afterburner's Triple Overvoltage allows the GPU, Memory and PLL(Aux) voltages to be adjusted. The Enhanced PWM design provides 25% more current than the reference design to ensure high stability during overclocking.
  • newegg Twin Frozr IV: 20°C Cooler and 11.7dB Quieter than Reference Board The MSI GTX 670 Power Edition is equipped with MSI's latest Twin Frozr IV Thermal Design. MSI's exclusive Dust Removal technology automatically reverses the fans at startup to prevent dust build-up and optimize the cooling module's ability to dissipate heat. Exclusive Propeller Blade technology provides 20% more air flow over conventional fans and increases the effective cooling area. When combined with dual 8 cm temperature-controlled fans, SuperPipe technology, and a nickel-plated copper base, temperatures are effectively reduced by up to 20°C and noise by 11.7dB!
  • newegg Military Class III Components Guarantees High Quality and Stability MSI Military Class III components have been independently tested to meet many of the strict requirements specified by the MIL-STD-810G standard in order to guarantee high quality and stability. Military Class III components used on the MSI GTX 670 Power Edition include Tantalum Core Hi-c CAP, 30% more powerful SFC, and Solid CAP with up to 10 years of service life. This choice of materials reflects MSI's firm commitment to delivering trustworthy and dependable products to its customers.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsEPIC

Pros: this thing is amazing, it runs fairly cool even when im raiding on max setting on world of warcraft. even in 25 man!

running WoW raids in Throne of thunder max setting pulls about 35% of this things power on my rig

i love it

Cons: its has a fair amount of weight to it and it is very long. you will want to make sure your case can handle the length and i had to add a support to keep it from torquing my mobo

really not to big of a deal just something to keep in mind

5 out of 5 eggsGtx 670 @ 2.5ghz

Pros: Runs at over 1.25GHz out of the box with gpu boost 1.0
Stays kool.
Beats 680s and 770s.
Hardly collected any dust, hence kept its cooling performance since the first day.

Cons: Gpu boost 1.0 will sometimes suck. Used precisionX to unstuck with Kboost, then deactivate Kboost.
The card does not respond to any overclock commands whatsoever.
Nvidia software (driver + geforce experience)
sucks And have had more bugs then months I owned the card.
Ex: Nvidia control panel process will flat out crash before it even finishes loading to open. Serial bug for 1+months.
Computer startup is noisy because of anti-dust fan startup.

Other Thoughts: Lucky sillicon pick.
performance scales perfectly with core frequency.
Bought from a banned website here lol, same model.

1 out of 5 eggsFrequent Black Screening

Pros: Card runs most games great! Never exceeds 55 degrees.

Cons: My MSI card is now experiencing the Infamous Black Screen issue described by others.
This occurs on both DVI ports! The problem was infrequent at first but games soon grew to be unplayable

Other Thoughts: Other MSI products in my build have worked great. It's a shame that this card has this problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Runs everything on max or ultra settings. Battlefield 4 runs silky smooth on ultra settings. Very low temps thanks to the twin frozer IV design. In my coolermaster haf 922 case idles at 22-25c & I have yet to see temps above 40c in any type of gaming. I set the fans to 50% with msi afterburner & have not touched the since. With the latest nvidia drivers I have not had a single glitch or crash in the 6 different games I currently am playing.. Impressive 3d mark benchmarks. With my i7 950 oc at 4.0ghz & 12g of ddr3 1600 triple channel memory 3d mark 11 scores cracked the 10,000 mark. Like the heavy duty type build of the card. Its built with hi quality parts. Can you tell I have nothing but good things to say about this card? At the $249 I paid for it here at the egg it was a fantastic value. I paid more than that for a gtx470 a couple years ago. If you get the chance to get this card snag it up quick.

Cons: Not a one.

5 out of 5 eggsstill works

Pros: Had this card well over a year and it still works. I bought this card for a Micro ITX build and it worked flawlessly. The card still worked great but I upgraded to a 780 due to a poorly optimized game (Cough RTW2). If You are looking for a good mid range card You can't go wrong with this.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsSweet.

Pros: Super fast, quiet, and cool. This is about as good as you can get for single-monitor 1920/1080 gaming. Very easy to install.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Paired with an MSI motherboard, this looks really good with the blue/black combination.
