Quality Monitor
Pros: I didn't know how big this monitor was until I actually saw it in person. Great size, great resolution, and great quality. The button for the different presets are handy when you need the screen for different tasks, such as gaming vs. writing word documents. A few clicks and you are in a different mode. Stand seems very sturdy and the monitor is of great quality. Perfect for a dual-monitor setup. Also, NO DEAD PIXELS!
Cons: Be careful when purchasing this to use as a dual-monitor for a laptop. When the laptop is on battery power, the X223W looks fine. However, when the laptop is plugged in, it causes the X223W to flicker slightly with horizontal bars (not too noticeable, but enough to be annoying). This is due to electromagnetic interference from an AC current (outlet) vs. a DC current (battery). At least this is the case when connecting the X223W with a VGA cable. I'm not sure if it holds true for a DVI connection. Apparently there are cables out there that can shield against electromagnetic interference but I haven't bought one yet. Other than this, the monitor is great (and I'm almost certain that if used with a desktop the interference would not occur).
Other Thoughts: High definition movies look amazing on this monitor.

Pros: Excellent sharpness. I have this monitor sitting next to my old 18" and the difference is as night/day. The colors look vibrant, motion does not get blurred, gaming is excellent. Absolutely the best monitor I have ever owned.
Cons: I guess the input select. But I only use one, so why bother? Can't call it a "con" if it doesn't affect me.
Other Thoughts: If this monitor is on sale or has free shipping: BUY IT!!

Good Colors
Pros: It is big. Bigger than I had imagined.
Cons: Not a high enough resolution. Wish I could have gotten a monitor that has 1920 x 1080 but that is my fault.
Other Thoughts: This monitor in my opinion doesn't have a high enough resolution for my kind of gaming.

Excellent Monitor
Pros: Love the color and resolution of this monitor. Whether I'm gaming or watching movies/tv, I think the picture is crisp and beautiful. I really like the "on the fly" picture settings, such as "text," "movies," and of course "standard." It helps my eyes out a lot when I'm writing in word as far as the brightness is concerned. Maybe all monitors nowadays come standard with this, I don't know. This is my first new monitor in about 7 years. Also really like that it comes with dvi and vga cables. Great monitor overall for the price.
Cons: First one I received I think was a discontinued or old model, it was DOA. So had to wait another week to get a new one. No problem though, love newegg's customer service.
Other Thoughts: No complaints with the stand. It's sturdy, solid, heavy, holds up the monitor. It does its job. I guess if you plan on violently shaking your monitor or sliding it across your desk all the time, the stand might fail on you...

Good bang for buck!
Pros: Great monitor. Huge display. Great contrast, couldn't believe how crisp and big everything was. Don't know why people are complaining about the stand, it is quite nice actually. I have run everything (winXP, vista, w7) it all looks glorious on this monitor. Especially when color vibrance is turned way up in nvidia control panel :D
Cons: Was kind of dissapointed with the refresh rate. If you're a big gamer, and really focus on the picture quality and really fast refresh rates, I don't really recommend this monitor. It's fine for any casual or maybe some big time game. But if you're extreme to the max, you want an 85hz to 120hz gaming monitor. This one is 60, which isn't different from the 16inch crt i upgraded from, which it should have been.
Other Thoughts: Great bang for buck!

Best for the price
Pros: We've ordered about 20 of these for office computers and have been very satisfied. Out of all of them only 1 had 1 stuck pixel and it was hardly noticeable unless your're looking at a white background. For the price you can't beat them.
Cons: Besides the the 1 stuck pixel there's not much else. We have several of them mounted vertically on a separate stand and the screens end up with a greenish hue from certain angles, mostly from the lower end of the screen.
Other Thoughts: Not really for high end graphics or extreme gaming but great for someone who just wants a big space to work with for cheap.

Really nice LCD
Pros: Hooked it up and ran it with no adjustments. Factory settings seem to be just fine on this monitor. No dead pixels. I really like the size, not too big and not too small......it fits right in between. I also really like the 16x10 ratio as it brings this monitor just a bit closer to square and doesn't look as "stretched". The colors are nice all the way around. May seem silly but I really like the blue emitted from the power light when the monitor is active as it sort of matches the blue LED's in my system. Great monitor for gaming too. Runs well with Crysis, Bioshock, and WoW. A great product from ACER.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I took a lot of time to research LCD's here on Newegg. I was coming from a square CRT and I'm not really a huge fan of widescreens but this one seemed to meet in the middle. It also had some really good reviews so I took a shot on it and I'm glad I did. It's beautiful and I'm sure that at this price point it would be hard to beat the quality.

Monitor Acer 22 inch
Pros: Very wide screen, shows great resolution, when gaming, or surfing the web. Great Price!!
Cons: Due to web being limited, some pages do not show full screen . They only show 17 of the 22 inches on some sites.

No regrets about my choice.
Pros: Excellent bright picture, crisp clear text, and a bigger screen than I expected to get at this price until very recently. No dead pixels after a month of daily use, which was pretty much my only concern about buying this online versus paying thirty bucks more at a local retailer. (I got this during a Newegg sale at only slightly less than the current price at time of posting this)
Cons: The buttons feel less solid than on any other monitor I've owned, but they work, and thankfully I only rarely need to touch them.
Another user pointed out slight light bleeding at the top and bottom of the screen. It's true, but so very slight that I may have never noticed had he not pointed it out.
Other Thoughts: I am a budget gamer, so when I built my latest system a year ago I decided to "get by" with my old 17" crt for a while longer, as it was still like new. I was cheating myself! This was the most significant upgrade I could have made in terms of enjoying my pc time.
My last concern was that the 5ms response time might make for a poor gaming experience, but I have not witnessed any ghosting or dragging whatsoever with this monitor.
The stand has been a non-issue, looks and performs alright, except I admit that as some others I had to level it a bit (I used a couple of small pieces of black foam rubber salvaged from my last thin mousepad.)

Keeps Getting Better
Pros: Fantastic quality. I use my screens for graphic design, gaming and videos. This newer X223w has much better quality in terms of visual contrast between colors than my other AL2216W.
Cons: The default settings are too bright, but easily adjustable.
Other Thoughts: It would be nice if Acer would manufacture their screens with the same case designs, or at least make sure that the screw holes on the back for monitor stands are positioned so that new screens align easily with old screens. Mine isn't terribly off with 1cm difference on a standard horizontal arm, but still.
