Great Router
Pros: D-Link makes great network components. They have been making quality products for years. I bought a D-Link router 3 years ago and works great. So I bought same router again. Its works just as good as the other.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: None

Solid wireless router
Pros: Stability and range are 2 reasons you should purchase this router. The router is rock solid stable. I've had it running for almost a year and there hasn't been a single issue. The range on the router is very decent for the price you pay, I've positioned the router at various locations around the house (even extreme corners) and never had a problem with signal reception even through walls.
Speeds seems to be decent, I've had wireless G and N laptops connect at the same time with no noticeable decrease in performance. It supports all the usual encryption protocols, WEP, WPA, WPA2 (AES and TKIP). It also supports hybrid mode for maximum compatibility. I've had it running with the wireless adapter on the Xbox 360 and PS3 with no problems.
You can do the usual port forwarding to various different ports. The web management interface is easy to understand and provides plenty of security options to configure your router. The device runs cool and doesn't have any overheating problems.
Cons: The only slight con I have is, I did have a problem connecting a very old laptop with a very old Dlink 802.11b wireless card. But it was most likely the cards fault as it didn't even support WPA or WPA 2. Not a huge deal as it has worked with everything else.
Other Thoughts: I usually don't post reviews of products until I've had "plenty" of time to play with the product. Since I've owned this product for over a year and haven't had a single problem with it, I'm sure there are others that would love to know this. This is a great no frills home wireless router. Just be sure to upgrade the firmware to the latest version before you start using it.

Skanty Transfer
Pros: It is adaptable with other network devices, easy to configure, cheap, works and lasts.
Cons: After trying a updates and several network configurations I am unable to get more than an actual 1.25MB/s or 10Mb/s transfer between a win2k with netgear N wireless at 300Mb/s strong connection to a vista with a belkin wireless g at 54Mb/s stong connection. I've seen this before browsing works great because most web connections are way slower than a wireless connection. And then try a file transfer and it's like your downloading it off the internet from the other room. I mean come on 10Mb/s is no where near the even 54 advertised and considering 1000Mb/s and 10000Mb/s is out there this is ridiculous.
Other Thoughts: The best transfer I had was on 2 wired cat5 rj45 showing 100Mb/s connection got almost avg. 10MB/s or 80Mb/s 80% of possible. Second best was 100Mb/s wired to 300Mb/s wireless at 4MB/s. 54Mb/s to 100Mb/s wired posted about 2Mb/s. And finally N card at 54Mb/s and G at 54Mb/s still posted about 1MB/s. Give me 300Mb/s actual transfer or give me a wired connection or death.

Good Deal
Pros: This is a great router at a great price. I have been using this since early August '09. Setup was super easy. I have only had to reboot it once. Wireless speeds and range are great (at least in my home). If you are looking for a good reliable router that won't break the bank, then this is it!
Cons: Wish it had gigabit connections, but for the price I can't complain.

Reboot Once a Day
Pros: USB Port, Good Range, Stable Signal, lots of customizability, sleek look, free N card, set up quickly.
Cons: Once a day, it just decided it would not longer connect to computers. Wired or Wireless. Had to reset the device, and it would work fine again. The signal was good, but somehow it was never very fast. Youtube videos had to be buffered for much longer than my two year old Trendnet N router. The USB Port could have been useful, but I couldn't stream DVDs on my hard drive wirelessely, and the computer requires extra software to read the drive. The Easy Connect button did not work.
Other Thoughts: I really wanted this to work, but it just didn't ended up back to using my two-year old router, which works much better. I don't even know why I switched anymore.

Works great with Comcast in NJ
Pros: - Works great with Comcast Cable, a static IP provider in north NJ - Extremely easy to setup - takes 10 min - Haven't experienced a dropped connection once in three months of use; my old Linksys dropped connections daily, and even after the firmware was upgraded to a custom one, weekly - Extremely fast when used in n-only mode, very fast on mixed n/g/b mode - a variety of security options - an attractive design / well-made
Cons: - wish I bought this product earlier
Other Thoughts: Very happy with Newegg - very good packaging, fast shipping, best price around (I checked the prices on sever price-comparison sites before choosing Newegg)

ABSOLUTLY PERFECT
Pros: I had owned a Belkin N1 Mimo F5D8231-4 router and it was just plain horrible it would cut out and the coverage blew, and ontop of that it didnt have removable antenna's to improve that. I also paid 120.00 for it a year ago, NEARLY 3 TIMES AS MUCH AS THIS. The price is great the unit itself is flawless I LOVE IT, BEST ROUTER EVER !
Cons: None really only minor things I can find are :
- Status lights are somewhat small - Sort of annoying internet security popup ( popup can be disabled ) - BELKIN BLOWS ! ! ! ! - DLINK FOREVER ! ! ! !
Other Thoughts: The stock antenna's are alright and give good coverage for the average user and are great throughout the house, BUT I coupled this router with two 14 inch 9dbi high gain antenna's from eB** and I can even use this 3 times farther than before.

Pros: It's Draft N. It's Dual Band.. It has a network USB port... IT's CHEAP! Only good option if you need a N connection but don't want to shell out $100! Installation CD is OVERLY simple for new users(I just don't like using installation CDs)
Cons: "Special combo with high gain antenna" Where? I didn't get it. No paper manual. It's PDF on the CD. I don't like using installation CDs with hardware like this. Takes about 10 mins for your system to "Identify" the router after the first setup.
Other Thoughts: I paid almost the same amount for a D-link single band G router a year ago! I always hard weired my computers but I moved and there is no phone line where my computers are and the old router loses 50%+ signal at about 8ft. This new router saved my sanity!

Not worth the time
Pros: Ah, none.
Cons: I had to make 3 service calls with in the first hour of use. The thing secured down my internet access with out asking, I choose not to setup an account for their free 30 day trial of some security thingie and the software got caught in a loop, that was my first call for help. Next it was slowing my modem down another call, they walked me through changing a setting. Then they told me to download a firmware update, did that and it reset ever setting they walked me through. Don't recall the third call, by the way their IVR is terrible. Now it doesn't see the printer I added to the Shareport network. It saw it 2 hours ago and now it doesn't. This device is getting returned.

Securespot sucks
Pros: When this router works it is fine, no complaints.
Cons: Securespot, however, is a nightmare. I uninstalled it but it keeps coming back. It won't leave me alone. I have done everything to cancel this service. I think it is some kind of bad marketing technique; once you have signed up for the trial it won't let you go. It will randomly shut down my internet connection, sometimes going for a few days, other times a few hours even though it is not set up in the system any longer. The only thing I can do to get my conncetion back is to take D-Link out of the loop. D-Link has lost a customer and gained a bad review.
The range on this router is not any better than the Netgear router it was replacing.
Other Thoughts: If you are going to use Securespot then this might be a good option at a decent price, otherwise, look elsewhere.
