It performs concentrated cleaning for the dirty areas to ensure clean results. It features dual HEPA air filters that remove fine dust, particles, and allergens, leaving healthy, fresh air behind. With iAdapt Technology, the Roomba 790 monitors and adapts to the unique cleaning space of your home, reaching and cleaning the hard-to-reach areas like under furniture, along walls, or in tight spots.
The Roomba 790 is also easy to use. Simply press a button and it starts the cleaning process. It can be preset to perform cleaning sessions on schedule, up to seven times a week. In between cleanings, it automatically goes back to its Home Base to dock and recharge. It also features a robust battery with extended-life power management, a full-dust-bin indicator, and a wireless command center, which puts the control at your fingertips from across your room.

Powerful CleaningThe Roomba 790 uses the new cleaning head to provide superior performance for picking up pet hair, dirt, dust, allergens, and more. The AeroVac Series 2 Bin employs a powerful vacuum to vigorously pull debris and hair off brushes into the bin. The distributed air collection and clog-resistant design of the AeroVac Series 2 Bin optimizes the vacuum's effectiveness, as well as its dirt- and hair-packing efficiency.
Dual HEPA Air FiltersCapture dust particles as fine as 0.3 microns, limiting the recirculation of fine particles and leaving fresher, healthier air behind.
Dirt Detect Series 2 with Persistent PassWith Dirt Detect Series 2, the Roomba uses optical and acoustic sensors to find dirt and debris, and perform concentrated cleaning in the areas where it’s needed most. The Persistent Pass Cleaning Method employs a back-and-forth cleaning pattern to apply elbow grease in areas where it senses excessive dirt.
iAdapt Responsive Navigation TechnologyiAdapt Technology monitors the cleaning environment more than 60 times per second, using multiple sensors (like cliff detection) and dozens of behaviors (including wall following) to clean more of your home, more thoroughly. With this, the Roomba cleans areas you can’t easily reach, including under furniture, around everyday obstacles, and along walls. The Roomba also avoids stairs and drop-offs; cushions the contact made between it and household items; recognizes cords and carpet fringe; and self-adjusts to clean hardwood, carpet, and linoleum.
Room-to-Room NavigationThe included Virtual Wall Lighthouse confines the Roomba in one room until it is completely vacuumed, then directs Roomba to clean the next room. The Lighthouse can also block "off-limits" areas.
