Rating + 5 This case is brilliant

Pros: Super modular! Everything is removeable and case caters to a ton of different applications. It's well built, quiet, and super spacious.

I mainly picked this Lian-Li case over the HDD cages and they are spectacular. Swapping hard-drives doesn't take any effort. That and all the rubber grommets (the hard drives all sit on them in the racks), the fans, etc. make everything happier. I have no legit complaints about this case! After my last case (loud, inefficient cooling, not easy to mod) I suppose anything is better, but I digress.

Cons: Could be cheaper, but you do get a lot of features for what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: This case really is a full tower (HUGE) and if you're not building a server with the need for 6 hot-swappable HDD's, possibly running two power supplies, etc. etc. you should stick with the mid-tower cases.

Rating + 5 Amazing Case

Pros: This case is simply amazing, There are so many things i could say about this case. The metalwork is simply stunning, the airflow is second to none, there are fans pointing at VGA and northbridge spots, hard drive placement is prime, i could go on and on

Cons: price, but thats not much, considering the fine masterpiece ur getting.

Rating + 2 Disappointed

Pros: Big, it is like a full tower. A lot of cooling features and silence features. Look nice.

Cons: There is some rough edges inside the case. It won't cut me but I don't expect it for such expensive case. The black paint is very easy to be scratched and removed. After the paint is removed, the real color silver will reveal. It is "safer" to buy a silver case so even you scratch it, it is still silver! The backpanel does not lineup due to design issue (I read a user complained months ago, Lian Li still has not fixed it!). Need to add washers to standoff to make the backpanel to lineup correctly. The wire management of this case is quite poor. I bought an Antec mini last week, it has much better wire management. I don't mind to pay more but I am disappointed by all the issues I had above. I am going to return it.

Rating + 4 Sticky Button

Pros: I bought this case for a new build, an i7 SLI fully water-cooled system
Needed two PSUs to power everything; this case was plenty big enough.
A very nice looking case; does not have that hot wheel look.
Very easy to modify this case, well built.

Cons: The power switch was not lined up to the outside of the case, which caused the
power button to stick down. This was very hard to notice at first, because there
is very little movement when you push the button. The computer would start then
shut off after a few seconds; not what you want to see after a very expensive build.
A little sandpaper was able to solve the problem…

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice if Lian-Li had included a dual
PSU cable. Had to solder the trip wires from the second
PSU to the first PSU.

Rating + 5 Pretty Nice

Pros: Clean look, lots of space, quiet.

Very nice build quality - the door closes easily with a nice "snick" sound.

Removable cages - I took out both 3.5" cages as well as the odd PS cage to improve airflow.

Cons: I wish it didn't have the IO and watercooling ports on the top of the case. PS must be mounted with fan against the side panel.

Other Thoughts: There's one 3-pin connector from the front panel that I cannot find in the documentation or on Lian-Li's connector FAQ. I have no idea what it's for. Red, black and white wire with a white plastic connector.

Case was bigger than I thought it would be.

Rating + 5 For this money I expected alot

Pros: I had high expectations and this case delivered. The layout is near perfect and very thoughtful. The basic box is riveted together but almost every other piece is bolted together, even the individual pieces of the front grilles. Very moddable.

Swallowed ten spindles, two removable SATA bays, a few DVD ROMs, an EATX mobo, Dual GFX, a Zalman cooler the size of my head, PSU and the full sheaf of cables with ease. Everything is easy to get to. Lots of extra hardware included. Plenty of cooling.

And let's be vain-- it's beautiful. No neon, no chrome, no fancy. It looks expensive because it is, and doen't bother with any flash. The pieces fit together with precision, the finish is spotless.

Cons: Two minor flaws:

PSUs that put a 14cm fan in the bottom of the box instead of a fan in the front or back will be mounted 'backwards' with the fan facing the case side and very little clearance. Oddly, even the instructions show such a PSU mounted this way. Drill new holes in the removable backplate to flip it if you care.

PCI card mounting screw holes are tiny little pressed in, threaded collars; if one starts spinning, it's annoying to actually get the card tightened down.

Rating + 5 Very pleased

Pros: Quality, fit and finish are unsurpassed. I've owned high-end cases from Silverstone and Zalman, but this is my first Lian Li. I am definitely impressed. Their factory is ISO certified, and this shows in the craftsmanship. On their website they say the chassis door closes like that of an expensive automobile. No kidding, it does. Lots of detail in the design, like a lock and key for the chassis door. Even the PCI slot covers are nice, not the flimsy kind you find in cheap cases. Sound dampening everywhere. Removable motherboard tray, routing cables is a breeze. VGA card support brackets, a must for extra long, heavy video cards. Chipset fan cools my memory. I think it resembles an IBM supercomputer/server.

Cons: Pricey, but not unreasonable compared to other manufacturers in this price range. Instructions could be more clear for switching hinges on the door. After doing this it doesn't close like an expensive car door anymore (/cry). I had to bend the metal to prevent it from scraping. Some of their products are hard to find in the states, and I had to order a 3.5" bracket for my card reader elsewhere. Power/reset buttons are supposed to glow blue, but mine don't? Fan switch doesn't control rear exhaust. Hardest part of the installation was the I/O plate.

Other Thoughts: My build: Lian Li PC-A20B, Intel DP45SG, QX9650 @ 3.0GHz, 8GB Corsair DDR3 @ 1066MHz 7-7-7-20, 2 x Sapphire HD 4870 (CrossFire), 2 x 150GB VelociRaptor (RAID 0), 2 x 1TB Caviar Black (RAID 1), Vista 64-bit, Corsair HX1000
