Rating + 5 Great Case

Pros: This is a great case to have. It looks and runs cool. easy to set up.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: The fan on top is huge and there are switches in the back to turn the fans down or turn the leds off.

Rating + 4 Nice well-designed case but only a 90 out of 100

Pros: - This can't be overstated. This case is quiet. 4 fans help to keep the case cool even on the low setting.
- Solid, but not too heavy.
- Removable back panel for access to lots of wire-management. Also open on the top for squeezing wires to the entire top edge of the mobo.
- The 4 LEDs on the 120mm fan turns off but you can see the LEDs on the rear fan shines through this fan. Not a problem.
- Nice powder coating throughout prevents fingerprints. Almost too dark though. I had to work under bright lights so I can see.
- Easy to get a finger-hold of case when fully loaded. PS on the bottom makes it stable and easy to rock forward to access connectors and allow heat to naturally escape through the top.

Cons: Since I can't remove half of an egg I had to dock a whole one for the following reasons:

- Wires for the top and rear fans are a short. Didn't want them to get sucked into the 120mm fan so I routed them through a piece of loom tubing in the back wire mgmt area.
- The audio cables are also short but a small 1"x1½" rectangular hole was enough to squeeze past the PS. If my 24-pin mobo power cord was longer, I wouldn't have any wires in front of the mobo.
- The wires on the front fans are held in with metal clips and don't allow the wires to slide without force. Remove the wire tie before moving the front fans and keep the spare for slack. Don't shorten them with ties.
- The 16 screws on the HD trays don't have starter threads. They are large enough to handle, but prefer quarter-turn nylon threaded screws.
- Screws on side panels should have a retainer clip to keep them from getting lost.

Other Thoughts: Looked at dozens of cases. NewEgg specs & reviews are the best and most reliable source for accurate info.

Looked for a smaller mid-sized case that was solid, cool, quiet. Although I'm not a gamer, this case has a superior over-all design for functional expansion and cooling.

Removable piece of plastic behind the center HD tray has no purpose, other than to be in the way of HDDs mounted in the top or bottom of this tray.

Either drive tray can be removed to mount 3, 5½" internal drives.

The supplied 4 fans seem plenty, but my GPU is on the mobo. If installing two GPUs, it's nice to have option for add'l cooling on the side panel.

I turned on the Quiet 'N Cool feature of my AMD Phenom 955 and adjusted the speed of the fan to 62.5%. The fan wasn't that loud, but it was certainly louder than the fans on the case.

I wish the fans could connect to my mobo to control the speed rather than 2 switches (low/med/high) on the back and 2 rheostats on the front.

Pros: Absolutely awesome in the dark, have gotten quite a few compliments on it. Love the blue

Cons: It is big, so be prepared for that. Also, the drive bay in the middle tier is very hard to actually use if you have a large video card like most new ones are. In fact, I had to take the entire bracket out, put my drive in, and leave it that way so I can't put a fan right there anymore.

Rating + 5 One of the best cases

Pros: I did research and read reviews on a lot of cases before choosing this one. I am very happy with my decision. This is a great case! The fans are quiet and move air. They have speed settings and filters. The case is a good size inside and can fit a lot of stuff. However you may find the bay drives being in your way depending on your MB. I would recommend this case to anyone. I feel it will last a long time and you won't out grow it anytime soon.

Cons: In order to access fan filters you have to take off the sides of the case and unscrew the bay drives. Bad design flaw. So, i leave my bay drives unscrewed so i can just slide them out. I just remember not to move my case or they will fall on the floor.

Rating + 5 COOOOOOL case!

Pros: - Very cool case. (as in temperature) I've always tried to purchase cases with good airflow, but none have been as efficiently cool and quiet as this one.

- Good design. If for some reason there is leftover heat in the case that wasn't evacuated by the (3) 120mm fans, then the HUGE 200mm fan sucks it out the top effortlessly. Has space for at least 2 add'l 120mm fans, but you don't need them.

The fans are all adjustable via rheostats - if I'm playing a game, I simply crank-up the fan speeds and watch my CPU temperature drop.

I'm indifferent about this, but the 200mm top fan has a blue LED that can be turned off via a switch on the back.

Wire management is nice - not perfect, but a vast improvement over anything else I've had.

Fans are quiet --- even my wife noticed and she doesn't usually pay attention to that stuff like I do.

USB ports on the top front are more convenient than in the back or at the front bottom like some cases.

- Good Price.

Cons: - Lots of screws! It took me a while to figure out how to get the front panels off. Each panel has 8 screws. Seems like this feature could've been designed better.

- While the power button on the front top of the case is VERY convenient, it's also very attractive to my 2 yr old, who couldn't resist pushing it as I was in the middle of a game, LOL. (This isn't really a con, I just thought I'd mention it for a laugh)

- Fans have molex power cords instead of SATA. Not a big deal, but I wish the industry would fully convert to SATA. I'm tired of buying molex-to-SATA converter cables. This is probably more of an issue with power supply makers than case or fan makers, though.

- I've read a few reviews that say the front audio jacks don't work properly or they have a lot of interference noise. This may be an issue to be aware of, but I haven't tested mine yet.

- No power supply included --- no big deal.

Other Thoughts: - Wiring to front panel was labeled very well.

- So far I'm very impressed with this case. Cooler Master also has one with a 200mm top fan --- I think they are both very good cases. If you're concerned about heat dissipation like me, then this is the case for you!

Rating + 5 Great Case; Big time saver once you know how...

Pros: Great case, especially if you are new to creating a good airflow in your case. I originally wanted a Antec 300, but my research suggested that my new HIS 5850 wouldn't fit in it. The nice thing is, if you can get it on sale, it will save you alot of grief as all the fans are already in position and just need to be hooked up to the power supply. It has been keeping my new build at a little above room temperture from the feel of it, but I have not checked that on the utilities yet. It also allowed me manage my cables easier, which for me is a big plus!

Cons: No instruction manual or diagrams!! I spent almost an extra hour trying to figure out how to put my hard drive in and what screws were to be used where! Not enough to knock off an egg for what I got, but still something to know. Also, NewEgg's regular price is too high. I would shop around locally first like I did; I got mine at Micr*center and their regular price was newegg's sale price, and then they put it on sale below that! Yes, I know you will pay tax, but you are also supporting your local economy and helping to keep some Americans employed!

Other Thoughts: My Build:
AMD 955 Black Edition
Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P
HIS Radeon 5850 (Cypress Pro) 1GB
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Pro Champion (yes, I know, it's pci but it still works!)
Corsair PC12800 DDR3 1600 XMS3 4GB
Antec EarthWatts 650w
MSI 24x DVD SATA Burner

Rating + 4 Very nice case!

Pros: Looks good with black interior
Great air flow
Blue LED Tri Cool fans
Air filters
Good cable management for neat build
Very quiet on low speed settings
Roomy enough for a mid tower

Cons: Not tool less design
No access port in MB tray
Have to slide out HDD cages to clean filters
(hence the 4 eggs)

Other Thoughts: I made my own access port in MB tray. I am running an H50 cooler in push/pull so I moved the rear Tri Cool fan to the window. The side fan may have clearance issues with tall air coolers though. This case can run almost silent or be a wind tunnel if you wish. Even with my CPU and GPU OC'ed, I rarely run it on anything but low. If Antec fixed the cons, this case would be a 10 for sure!

Rating + 5 A-MAZING

Pros: This case is without a doubt a huge leap forward over my old Raidmax Smilidon Gaming Case. The case is well built, with MANY customization options to meet the needs of anyone's dream machine. The knobs for fan control are fantastic and a very nice touch. Greatness is in the details and this case pays attention to all of the little details that when added up, make it superior to any case (save the 1200) which I didn't have room for.

Cons: Can not seem to find red or green fans to replace the blue ones. Certainly not enough to drop even half of an egg off. Oh yeah, and SCREWS SCREWS SCREWS!!! If you have a phobia of screws this case is not for you.

Other Thoughts: The actual users manual is online in PDF format. Not a huge deal, took a while to figure this case out, but it was well worth it. Some of the trouble could have come from the fact that my last case was tool-less. For this fact I take some of the blame. Over all a great case and you should definitely purchase it. I know there have been some concerns about CPU fan/heat setups fitting, but I have this arctic cooling rig (Item #: N82E16835186134) and it fit just fine.

Rating + 5 Wonderful Product

Pros: Nice wiring chase on the side. All cables from the front USB / ESATA / etc were long enough to route cleanly. I like the front mounted speed control and back mounted speed controls.

Cons: Ugly stick-on Antec nameplate on front. Older model 900 has a slightly better curb appeal. Also - headphone and microphone jacks are not labeled (as they are on the 900).

Other Thoughts: I have built 5 computers with the older 900 model. This is such a much better case. Nicely done Antec.

Pros: I purchased t his case because of all the great review ive heard about it and also it was recommended to me, so far i am extremely happy with the casing and design, it looks like i have my own server without having one :D

Cons: Not really a con but i wish they would have included a fifth fan and a option to have the LED light change colors.

Pros: one of the best cases i have ever had, tons of room and i love the space for extra cables behind the motherboard.

Cons: the person reading this doesnt have one yet

Other Thoughts: note if your buying a board with sata ports off the side beware, it makes it tight but it wouldnt stop me from buying another one if i built a computer for a friend

Rating + 5 Great improvement over the 900

Pros: Absolutely fantastic case, I absolutely amazing. The dust filters are a were a much needed improvement as well as the fan controllers that are knobs instead of the switches like the old ones. Cable management, cooling and new top are all great. It also seems to be much cooler and quieter than the old one as well. Black inside is really appealing

Cons: Side panel is a little fussy at times. Removing the dust filter is a little too much work as well but doesn't have to be done very often.

Other Thoughts: You won't be dissapointed and a cooler master v-8 fits inside but it's close.

Rating + 5 Great Case

Pros: Very nice cable management, nice cooling setup, fan filters are great, the case is well thought out.

Cons: The only possible downside I have found is there is not a removable motherboard try but this is not a problem for this case.

Other Thoughts: This case has plenty of room for everything, great buy.

Rating + 5 Beautiful mid-level midtower

Pros: Attractive, durable black paint - interior and out; very solid build quality overall with tight seams and rolled edges; plastics are nicely textured and of high quality; acrylic panel is stylish and obscures the drive bays; expansion devices and front cages are solidly fitted; LED lighting can be subdued by turning off the top fan's lights; fans move plenty of air where you want it.

Cons: Front two fans' filters hinder flow more than expected - I added a high-speed fan on the side to balance everything out and prevent dust from seeping in.

Other Thoughts: I was looking at this and the CM Sniper. Although I can't speak to the Sniper's quality, the 902 surpasses my expectations; seeing this tower and powering it up each morning is a pleasure. My only gripe is that, initially, the top fan operated at very low pressure. I realized the fronts were struggling to move enough air through their filters and keep up with the air being exhausted; a side fan just balances everything out and the top is moving more air now.

People have noted it requires 16 thumb screws to pop the front drive cages. You really only need to remove the top one, enabling you to remove the bottom cage's filter in the space evacuated by the cage above it. It's still not as easy as on other cases, but they certainly aren't goin' nowhere. Besides, given the price of a case with this high of build quality, I can afford to spend an extra 2 minutes taking care of it each week.

Pros: Great case! I recommend purchasing from a storefront because these things are made to be shipped through UPS. Great Airflow.
LC Access
BLUE LED's

Overall Great Space

Cons: Won't play football with me

Other Thoughts: Antec 900 case
Rosewell 950 PSU

If you have the money get the Antec 1200. Much bigger!

Rating + 4 Not Perfect

Pros: -Amazing airflow
-Big enough for 10.5" graphics cards
-Black interior makes for a beautiful inside
-Frequently on sale and frequent rebates
-The storage tray on top of the case is so useful!
-Front-facing eSata port
-Dust filters on fans are a nice touch

Cons: -Audio cables are not shielded; front audio is basically useless
-Fans are molex, but at least you can chain them together
-Vulgarly ugly outside (but that's my personal taste)
-Can't turn off LED's on the 120mm fans
-Cable management isn't the greatest, but at least it exists
-Lots and lots and lots of screws

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth it if you can get it at a good price. I got mine for $65 after MIR's on Black Friday. Well worth it at that price.

Rating + 5 Beautiful and Functional Case

Pros: - Great cooling with 2 front 125mm intake fans, 1 rear 125mm exhaust fan and 1 top 200mm exhaust fan.
- Nice layout. I like the PSU in the bottom of the case.
- Plenty of room. I have a large CPU heatsink, Prolimatech Megahalems w/ 2 Yate 120mm fans in push/pull config exhausting up. Fit into the case, no problem, although I did have to "modify" the side mount intake fan in order for it to clear the heatsink fan.
- Was able to hide most cables by running them behind the MB.
- Washable / Filtered Intake Fans keep the inside of the case dust free.
- Configurable drive bays with mount for an internal fan (I have it configured so that a 125mm Yate fan is blowing across the RAM heatsinks).
- Fan speed controllers

Cons: - The PCI and PCIe slots use screws to hold in the cards and slot covers. I would prefer a screwless design, because of my clumbsy fingers always dropping the screws down onto my MB.
- Difficult to remove fan filters.

Other Thoughts: - Beautiful case with the blue led fan lights. Looks great at night.
- Kind of wish now that I had went with the bigger Antec 1200 full tower. I will be hard press to "easily" install any other components into this case, although it can be done. Installing a 2nd video card in SLI will require re-configuring my drive bay layouts, due to the length of the 285 GTX cards. Not a fault of Antecs though.

Pros: Very nice case, looks nice with smooth edges parts are easily removable and work well.

Cons: Like it has been stated before. The HDD location does not work well with longer video cards especially if running any set of SLI/Crossfire.

Other Thoughts: For a ATX motherboard, the case does not have all the riser pegs put in. Regrettably, I noticed this after I had my Mobo in. Forcing me to take it back out again and putting in the last 3 pegs for the right side.

Rating + 5 Wouldn't Trade this For Anything

Pros: - Really enjoying something that you buy.

- The case is beautiful. Very clean and sleek lines.

- Case interior is painted black. Come on, get with the program case makers! Paint the case interiors! It looks nicer, and it softens all the edges that I need to work around. My NZXT Guardian, which is more expensive than this, has unpainted sheet metal interior that I have already shed blood into more than once trying to route cabling. If you have never built your own PC before, painted interiors are SO the way to go!

- This thing is a wind-tunnel! Even with the stock fans, this case can move a lot of air around. Higher flow fans will take it to the next level. You probably can't get a much better air-cooling setup than this.

- Interior is roomy for a mid-tower. May be a bit of a squeeze if you have a big video card with PCI-E power cables coming out the end of it, the HDDs will be very close.

- Bottom-mount power supp

Cons: Internal 3.5" bays are parallel to the motherboard. Come on, Antec! This would be the perfect mid-tower case, in my opinion, if not for this detail. All HDD bays should use perpendicular, no-tool, drop-in HDD mounting. It gets the HDD cables and the VGA cables away from each other, and that is a very big deal with how big PCI-E video cards are nowadays. This is one aspect where my NZXT is actually nicer. It is nice that the drive bays are modular and can be removed in sections from the case, but I would gladly trade that for a perpendicular setup.

Other Thoughts: Great case for the money. Antec should make another one just like it with drop-in drive bays. Of course, I will be annoyed when that happens because mine does not have them.

Rating + 4 Good case, few flaws

Pros: -Very sleak look and design
-Fans are quiet and pull plenty of air
-Not to heavy
-Decent cable management options
-Opportunity to add more fans
-Dustfilters

Cons: -Dustfilters are a pain in the rear to clean, have to take off both side panels AND pull out both drive cages, neither of which are toolless. If your PC is in a tight space such as a cubby in a computer desk, this can be especially annoying
-Left side panel comes on and off very awkwardly
-Not screwless

Other Thoughts: I have paid similar prices on cases in the past which were screwless, and, although i admit it was my mistake for selecting this case since i knew before-hand that it had screws, it still should be a pretty standard feature on cases in the price range. Once you feel the wonder of a screwless design, going back to screw is a huge hassle.

Rating + 5 Improvements over 900

Pros: I must have done 20 builds with the Antec 900. I never wanted to spend the extra cash on what seemed to be the same case. Boy was I wrong. I finally bought it (for my own build) and was happy to see the improvements. The fans do control from the back but I have never had a heat issue leaving all the fans on low so that's not an issue. MUCH more room under panel behind motherboard for cable storage. Lots of well placed holes to run cables out behind. The only wire left to see is the Aux power. If it was only a few inches longer. They angled the front, top for easier access to power, USb..etc..Much cleaner paint job. Love this case.

Cons: None I can think of yet.

Rating + 4 Good but not perfect

Pros: I like the all black interior. Getting 4 large quiet fans is great. The case is a nicley priced. I also like the 3 modules for the front and you can move them around depending on your desired cooling. The cable management holes in the motherboard tray are nice, but you need fairly long cables in some cases to use them.

Fit my Radeon 5870 just fine.

All the fans have speed controls. The back and top fan have a little switch on the back that is hard to get to. The front two fans have a litle knob on the front that you can turn.

Cons: The fans are all molex power. So you do not get any RPM readings.

The front panel cables (power, reset, hdd led) are all too short to reach the bottom of my motherboard. I had to order extensions from another website.

I am not a fan of bottom mounted power supplies because the power cables from the power supply have a hard time reaching all the way to the top of the case. In my situation, the 12V cpu power cable just makes it over the video card. It certianly is not long enough to go through the cable management holes. I had to order an extension cable for this also.

No power led, or speaker like every other case I have used has.

There is no instructions in the box. You have to goto their website and view the PDF. And, the instructions did not really provide any help.

Other Thoughts: It took me forever to figure out how/where to mount a 2.5'' SSD. I noticed there were some rubber stand offs with some extended length screws in a bag labeled 2.5'' HDD. I finnaly noticed there is 4 holes in the very bottom of the case for these which is where you can mount a 2.5'' drive. Unfortunatly the bottom front module kind of layes right over the top of the drive. So no cooling. I am probabaly going to change this and buy a 3.5'' to 2.5'' mounting bracket so I can get some air blowing over the drive.

Rating + 5 What Other Cases Are Trying To Copy

Pros: I bought the case a couple of months ago. I had the original 900 and gave that to my son. This case is just gorgeous and well built. It has several improvement from the original 900.

Cons: It could use a larger power and activity LED light.

Other Thoughts: After the Antec 900 came out it seem to me that several case manufactures were and are trying to copy some of it's looks. The case is sturdy and not flimsy like some other cases I've had.

Rating + 5 Good case, but no power indicator

Pros: The case definitely has a good amount of room. It fit my 5850 in there nicely. The fans are a nice touch, and they're surprisingly quite. Many expansion bays, and has room for a 5th side fan. Bottom mounted psu is always nice. Clear side window to see into the case as it moves.

Cons: Fans aren't motherboard controlled. Fan controls are on the back of the case, and without good lighting are unreadable. There is no power indicator light, so you can't tell if your pc is asleep or not. The power and reset button also aren't labeled. The case came with no instructions at all, just a small bag of a bunch of random screws, you'll have to figure out yourself how to put it together. Only the top fans led lights can be turned off. The other 3 are always on.

Pros: -- Tons of room
-- Cable management cutouts are plentiful
-- Lots of space behind motherboard anchor
-- HDD mounting super easy
-- Whisper quiet
-- Designed to take a bottom mounted PS

Cons: -- A little ugly

Other Thoughts: I rate on product only.

This case it nice and big and was easy to work with. However it is the first Steel case I have used in 15 years and as such it seemed heavy to me. I would but this case again though, since it made for one of the easiest builds I have ever done.

Rating + 5 great cooling, quiet, and sturdy - Part2

Pros: This is in my response to the cracked side window that came with my case. I'd like to give a huge thanks to the Antec customer service team. I'm surprised at how easy it was to get a replacement. I think its great how a company stands behind their product and supports it (even though it may have been a shipping problem that the window was cracked). I paid no shipping charges and now have a brand new case without blemishes.

Cons: I would have wrote this sooner, but I was actually sent two replacements. The first one was for a completely different case so I had to re-open my RMA ticket. Once Antec's customer service team found out a wrong one was sent to me, they asked for a picture of the correct panel to send just to remove any doubt. Did that and received the correct case 3 days after I emailed a picture.

Other Thoughts: Might take a couple of days for customer service to respond, but when they get to you, you are taken care of. That could be why it takes a while for a response. Great case, great company, piece of mind. Can't ask for much more.

Pros: this antec mid tower is pretty big, space was enormous and there were about 6 fans total when all are install

Cons: the middle fan quite be dangerous because its right close to the motherboard and power cores etc.

Other Thoughts: very good case, but very heavy as well, espically the front

Rating + 5 Great case ... knew it would be ...

Pros: Quality build throughout ... I have owned three ANTEC 900's .... this is my first 900 II .... not a server case, but big and roomy enough to hold anything a typical gamer or desk jocky can throw at it .... I am using a Zalman (N82E16835118046) with an ASUS P55 MB (N82E16813131407) and it fits with no need to modify side window fan/bracket ... interior hard drive bay fan bracket will have to be removed to fit any decent present-day graphics card .... this does not effect the front mounted 120mm fans however ... great finish, sort of a matt/satin black ... heavy duty rubber pads on bottom ....... very, very sturdy ... heavy gauge construction ... all component mounting screws and stand-offs are provided ...

Cons: The removable drive bays have to be pushed forward to gain access to the front 120mm fans .... i.e. to clean filters .... the front bezel doesn't readily pop-off like the original 900 case ..... but it looks as though it should .... there are a couple interior screws locking it in position, I bet if those were removed the bezel would pop on/off like the 900 ...

Would be great if it had a removable MB plate ... but don't think of this as a deal breaker .... plenty of room in there as it is ...

The front 120mm fans have variable fan controls ..... would have preferred that for the rear and top fan as well ...

Other Thoughts: Just an all around great case .... not something you are going to throw out when the PC guts die or become outdated .... you'll want to reuse this for you next build ...

Kudos to ANTEC ......

Pros: quiet, but good air flow. I like the fans in the front with the speed controls accessible. The large fan on top is great.

Cons: I wish it had a solid side panel option. Difficult to mount 2.5" SSD d/t screw size problem. Funky mountings in HDDbays require using supplied long screws with wrong size for my drive adapter. I wish the fans had speed sensors.

Other Thoughts: There was a 5.25 to 3.5 drive bay converter that I was able to use with some effort and xtra hardware to mount my ssd. If you use a standard 3.5 hdd, it works fine. Being bleeding edge, I expect to sometimes have to bleed to make it all work.

Pros: I build computers in my spare time, and this case is what I recommend to everyone. It is the perfect size, weight, and well ventalated. I accept no lessor cases.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you want to expand to a fluid coolant sytem this case can do it as well. You get what you pay for, and this case is reasonably priced and well designed.

Rating + 5 Great airflow

Pros: I'll have to echo what some of the other reviews have said...this thing is bigger than it looks in the pictures.

Also access to all of the drive bays is very easy even though it isn't tool-less.

The fan on top is a great feature and probably my favorite. I just pointed my heatsink fan towards that bad boy and I'm running ~42 under heavy load

Cons: this case is very heavy. i weighed mine with all of my parts in it and it's around 50 lbs so be careful.

Other Thoughts: next time I'll probably go with a full tower just for ease of access (nimble hands are definitely a plus). But for a first build this case has been amazing, it cooperated with everything I threw at it.

Pros: Excellent air flow.

2x 120mm in front
1x 120mm in back
1x 240mm? on the top.

Side of case has slot for another 120mm fan, and inside the case has an attached spacer behind the hard drives for another 120mm fan. Fans display a nice blue color.

Cons: Absolutely no cons for this case. The airflow is superior, even compared to the Antec 900.

Other Thoughts: Got this on sale for $99 with free shipping. Would recommend this case to anyone, even if it goes back to normal prices.

Pros: 4 quiet fans, solid case, room for everything, side mount fan wouldn't interfere with large cpu heatsink/fan. Wire management behind MOBO tray is outstanding though it took me about 2 extra hours to get everything situated. Bottom mounted power supply.

Cons: None really, but fully loaded this thing is heavy. I prefer solid & heavy to a flimsy case.

Other Thoughts: Antec Nine Hundred Two case
ASUS Sabertooth 55i MOBO
Intel I7 860 2.8 Ghz Quad CPU
4X 2 GB G-Skill Trident DDR3 2000 Memory
4X WD RE3 250 GB SATA 3 HDDs in RAID 10 Config
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2 Heat Sink/Fan
EVGA GeForce 8600 GTS graphics card
Sony Optiarc DVD-RW Burner
All case fans on slow speed, CPU fan controlled by MOBO and I cannot hear any fan noise. CPU idles at 30C and got to a max of 41C when runing Prime 95 for 30 minutes.

Pros: Great looking and incredible cooling features. Plenty of room on the right side to route most cables out of view.

Cons: Front panel audio cable doesn't reach the header on the motherboard (P7P55D Pro)...I blame it more on the board layout than the case. Would be nice to have 3-pin fans.

Other Thoughts: ZALMAN CNPS9900ALED has no problem fitting in this case (and looks great).

Rating + 4 Awsome case, small problem?

Pros: Great case, the rear exhaust fan and 200mm fan dont let any heat sit around even on stock(low) settings. Nothing is flimsy, everything feels durable. The steel isin't thin. The side panel for wire management is awsome, and the blue LED's arent weak or anything. Lots of room inside the case.

Cons: Either my 200mm fan didn't come w/ lights? Or the fan's lights came broken. I know everything is connected but for some reason only the fan is spinning? -1egg :\

Other Thoughts: If anyone is worried about fitting a video card in this case, you should know that the case will hold any video card that is approx. 12 inches long.

Hopefully Antec will reply to this review and send me a replacement 200mm fan. At least it spins I guess.

Pros: love the all black look and solid construction
fit all my components (4890 radeon & Vigor Monsoon III LT fan)
quiet

Cons: cable way too close to top fan. if you route cables behind the mobo you have to bend one of the power sources to the fan.

while i considered being able to fit everything a pro the 4890 prohibits some use of the middle drive cage. since the pcie cables go on the back of the card (rather than the side) it hits up right against where a middle drive could be. I personally don't care as i'd never need a drive there but might matter for some.

Pros: this computer case is the best choice i made with my new gaming/CAD computer even with a college budget. The five fans keep my computer cool to run anything. it was a trick to organize the power cords since i got my corsair power supply that doesn't have the selectable cords.
+
haveing the mount for the fan inside for the harddrives was a very nice feature. it was too bad they don't give you the fan for the side panel

Cons: so far there are no cons that i have found out about this case and i would rather not anyway.

Other Thoughts: the only thing that you need to watch out for when connecting the power cord to the cpu (if its located close to the roof of the case or anything else) the case gives you a little plastic clip with a sticky base. that base is has a cap or something but if you mess it up while peeling it off, the clip is ruined. and be carfull with the top fan its a biiiiig target to anything that might fall on it.

Rating + 5 Great Case!

Pros: Very nice case, easy to configure and build. It's solidly built and parts fit together perfectly. The rear and top fan have speed selectors attached to the case so they can be accessed from the back and set to L/M/H. Front fans have a nob on the front to tweak their speed. A nice touch is there's a third slot in the back where you can put the speed selector for the optional side fan.

The sides are easy to take on and off and fit in nicely. Plenty of room inside and it's relatively easy to get around. The HD cages slide out the front along with the fan. Another nice touch here is that the fan cable has been routed through holes in the side of the HD cage to keep it in place and out of the way.

My favorite part of this particular case is the cable management. There are holes in the back so that cables can be routed behind the motherboard and other components, out of sight and out of the way of airflow. This is a great use of a commonly neglected area.

Cons: The top 200mm fan sits way too close to the CPU and RAM. While this is somewhat nice, it makes that area very cramped and difficult to route the top & rear fan cables without hitting the CPU cooler. Also my CPU fan had a wire that tends to sit up just above the mainboard and had to be adjusted to get it out of the top fan blades.

The biggest annoyance with this case is the front air filters. They are part of the HD cage which means to clean them you have to open both sides of the case, pull out eight thumb screws (four on each side) and then pull the HD case out a bit to get at it.

Other Thoughts: If you have a large, modern day card such as a GTX260 or R4870 you're not going to be using the optional 6th fan that attaches to the back of the top HD cage. In fact, unless you want a real wiring headache chances are you're not using the top HD cage for much at all. Furthermore, large PSUs such as an Antec 1000W take up quite a bit of the case and while there's still more than enough room to make use of the bottom HD cage it can get a little tight down there.

These two issues don't detract from the case itself though, it's a general problem and I wish manufacturer's would start offering mid towers that are about two inches longer to make room for the ever growing graphics and PSU sizes.

Pros: Black powerdercoated steel....mmmmhmmmm. Two fans in the front, a huge fan up top, one on the side, and one in the back (not counting power supply). Amazing case, amazing airflow. Enabled me to take $60 9500gt and overclock it to run WoW 55-60fps on max settings.

Case has alot of room for a midtower and was designed well.

The blue lights look great. They match my Belking N52TE as well as my Razer Naga.

Cons: The filters for the front fans are a little on the inconvenient side. To remove them, you must remove both side covers from the box and 16 phillips head bolts to slide the drive dins forward to remove the filters.

I will say that it was designed very well, however, for the inside of my case still looks brand new with 0 particles inside. For this reason, I overlook the filter removal process.

Other Thoughts: This is the first computer I have assembled from the ground up for myself. I have built many in the past, and upgraded many in the past, but I have to say that this is by far the most exciting box I've ever owned. Its sleek, but its sexy.

Rating + 5 great cooling, quiet, and sturdy

Pros: high quality case. great cooling and not too loud at all. all fans at high speed give off a slight hum, but by no means is it annoying and won't drown out audio playback if you're using speakers.

Cons: side panel window had a crack. newegg was willing to replace the whole case with a new window, but that would put me without a rig for another 2 weeks on top of the 2 weeks i've been out. called antec customer support and had to leave a message. hopefully they get back to me soon and be able to send me a side panel window.

Other Thoughts: couldn't take an egg off for the cracked window since newegg was willing to do a replacement of the whole case, just couldn't wait another 2weeks of RMA process.

Rating + 5 900 Series- 2 great cases

Pros: Front USB, eSATA, Audio I/O, positioned well on both models but slightly different. Excellent ventilation. Liquid cooling compatible. Lots of space and drive bays. Black, painted interior goes well with the side view panel. Good price. Adjustable fan led/speed by rear switches and front knobs (Pro or Con - depending on whether you want software control and monitoring of fan speed).

Cons: Included case fans can't be connected to mobo. Blue leds on front intake fans can't be turned off. Top exhaust fan is an ODM size and difficult to find replacement if it dies. Internal drive bays (2x 2 3.5" chassis) lack form, function and fit especially after components are installed. Large graphics cards can be a challenge depending on your mobo layout.

Other Thoughts: Overall- very good reliable case, affordable price (got mine open box from a local store for under $80 when priced new at $189). Price has dropped to a good range and would buy again.

Cant figure out why Antec moved the front I/Os from original position, cords can now get in the way of drive trays. You wont be disappointed with the features of this model over the original 900.

Rating + 5 Great airflow

Pros: Great airflow. Lots of room. Black on Black color. Good spots to hide cables. Nice fan setup. You can easily create a air tunnel to cool your cpu. Few ways to move around the fan bays. Nice dials on the front two fans to control fan rpm speed. Speed settings on back of case to top & rear exhaust fan. Worth the extra few bucks vs the 900. I have owned both cases.

Cons: A little heavy, price could be hair lower. Rear speed switches are funky they could be dials like the front.

Pros: -Build Quality
-Airflow

Cons: -No extra space space

Other Thoughts: In my opinion It's a very high quality case. If you need goo airflow and not to much space for those bulky video cards. this is a great case. It's to small for my Nocuta heatsinks to fit in. I'm waiting for my Haf 922 to arrive I'm sure it will be better for my needs. So i can switch out my heatsink and have ample airflow and space.

Pros: Plenty of room for dual gtx280s, alot of cooling, love that its all black including the inside. Plenty of space to hide wires (see other thoughts). My zerotherm 120 cpu cooler fit perfect with an optional 120mm fan on the side panel.

Cons: You gotta remove the front bezel to clean the front 120 filters, but not really to bad as I left the screws out on the front bezel because I dont move my case ever.

Other Thoughts: Im using an TX750 corsair psu, although an awsome power supply the cpu pwr was to short to be routed behind the mobo tray. Also with the psu I had a ton of extra cable that kinda cluttered the bottom of the case. If you go with this case def get a modular psu, well worth the extra coin and much cleaner.

Rating + 5 Removable Fan Dust Filters!!

Pros: The front 2 fans have removable dust filters that will need to be cleaned occasionally, but should help with keeping the inside cleaner. The side fan spot (fan not included) also has a removable dust filter. The cable management is also very nice, great for keeping air flowing cold. The removable drive bays are also nice. If ever there was a product deserving of 5 eggs, this is it!

Cons: My case didn't come with a manual, so I didn't know about the dust filters until I watched a video review on Youtube. Then I download the manual from Antec's website.

Barely a con at all.

Other Thoughts: I got a lot of ideas from watching youtube videos of this case and what people have done with it. If you're not sold on this case, you're probably buying the Antec 1200.

Rating + 4 Great case, minor front panel engineering flaw

Pros: Great case. This case is well built, has massive airflow, and will fit just about anything you would need in a PC. This case has more than antiquate cooling, the breeze it creates under the desk actually cools me off too, and that's with the fans on low! The fans are not annoying or very loud on low.

Improvements over the Antec 900: black interior and back, air filters, external fan controls, cable management, led light top fan (leds on the top fan can be turned off), and one more back panel slot for 3way SLI support.

Cons: The front panel audio ports make horrible static/computer noise rendering them useless. This is not because of bad cable shielding, this is due to the fact that the USB ports and audio jacks share a ground connection. All of the front panel ports are encased in a solid plastic block, so there's no way to separate the grounds. However, I did find a partial solution. see other thoughts...

Other Thoughts: By disconnecting the usb ground wires from the motherboard (just un-clip the black wires out of the black usb plug that goes into the motherboard) and the ground wire above the cd drive bay; all of the noise is eliminated, until you plug in a usb device. A usb device plugged into the front ports makes for some horrible noise (dialup modemish). So unplug your headphones when using front panel usb (or enjoy the sound of USB), and you will never have a problem.

the esata, usb, and audio ports on the front panel should not share a common ground between them. Each device should use it's own ground connection back to the motherboard. Multiple ground paths make for a noisy ride...

I would be a very happy person if Antec could just mail out a front panel module that was fixed.

Rating + 4 Good Case

Pros: Large case, with lots of room for components. Durable, and build quality is good. Fan switches on the back for speed control for the top and back fans. Rheostats on the front for the 2 120mm fan speed controls. Inside is painted black which is visually nicer that the unpainted steel of the previous version.

Cons: No opening in the motherboard tray for aftermarket air coolers that require a backplate meaning you have to remove the mobo to install one.

Other Thoughts: I had the Nine Hundred before this, and this is a definite improvement over the previous design. External fan controls is nice as the old one you had to open the case up to change the speed of the fans.

Pros: no way i could hit every high. (my first case so skip this review if you are looking for high tech details ^_^

-serious air flow
-looks amazing
-2 extra slots for fans (on the side and inside) did i miss one?
-good price.. not great, but serious bang for the buck
-makes a nice and quiet room fan on high settings XD
also keeps my room cool.

Cons: -top fan may be nice to have right above the cpu slot because of hot air being sucked out, but the problem is its kinda hard to find a good 120mm heatsink.
-the plexi glass feels breakable. maybe its just me

Other Thoughts: -any fan larger than the top fan is probably excessive (other cases)

Rating + 5 Best Case I've Ever Used!

Pros: --Three 5.25" external bays
--SIX 3.5" internal bays
--Extra 5.25" external bay plate AND a 5.25 to 3.5" adapter tray to mount any 3.5" accessory (external card reader, external drive bay, etc.)
--External, TOP-FRONT-MOUNTED power button, reset button, TWO external USB ports, one eSATA port
--TWO manually controlled 120mm front fans w/filters which blow over the hardrives
--One 120mm rear exhaust fan w/blue LED and speed controller switch
--Blue LEDs (hardrive in top-front, and all fans)
--LED on 200mm top fan can be switched on/off and speed controller.
--Side opening for 120mm fan w/filter
--All edges are rolled (anyone who has cut their hands on cheap, non-rolled case edges knows this is a great thing)
--Bottom mounted slot for power supply
--Nice partial clear window on side
--VERY nice expansion slot covers - VENTED!
--Two REMOVABLE internal, 3.5" bay units
--Solidly built. Steel construction.

Cons: --Case is textured - harder to keep clean and nearly impossible to get case badges/sticker to adhere (had to use contact cement)
--200mm exhaust fan on top is over the top. In as much as it is very quiet, the sound doesn't bother me, but a 120mm fan would have been more than sufficient - even for a serious, over-clocked gaming setup

Other Thoughts: I have built PCs for over 20 years. This case is by far one of the best I've come across. I actually purchased it for a build for my daughter. The couple of Cons above were not enough to detract from a rating of 5 eggs. I very much like the layout and ease of use / installation. I especially like the two removable internal drive bay units on which the two front fans are attached. Easy to install drives! It is also a nice forethought to have the eSATA and USB ports mounted facing upward for ease of use. Extra bay faceplates and expansion slot covers are nice touch.

Rating + 5 The Perfect Gaming Case

Pros: There are a few new additions and features from the original 900. One is the optional 120mm mounting bracket on the side panel and 120mm optional mounting bracket on the top hard drive cage. The inside of the case is also painted black which compliments the black steel exterior of the case very well.
The case does have the advertised 6 3.5" drive bays. They are grouped into two groups of three in separate, removable cages allowing for extreme ease of installation.
The motherboard tray has several, well-placed, large holes which lead to a compartment allowing for extreme cable management. Several large, heavy duty zip ties are also included in the case to help with the ease of cable mangement.
The side panels are extremely easy to remove. Two thumb screws are included for the side panels for quick and easy removal. The side panels smoothly pop right off and are very easy to put back in.

Cons: First of all, it doesn't make coffee----

Side Panel Window: I have never been a fan of side panel widows. In my opinion they just show off the dust inside. I might take some Krylon Clear Coat to it to "fog" it up, make the inside less visible.

It is quite heavy and the painted surfaces are quite easy to scratch.

Other Thoughts: All in all, this is a very versatile, spacious, and high end gaming case that provides extreme cooling and a plethora of options for enhancement and upgrades.
It is definitely the nicest and most high end case I've ever owned.

Definitely a recommended case for any system.

Pros: Looks good, great cooling. Nice fan setup. Solid gamer rig case.

Cons: My only real gripe is this ... the headphone plug is right next to the power on/off switch. I have shut down my system several times by accident unplugging my headphones and it can be very annoying. I dropped an egg due to this.

Other Thoughts: This case does look a bit nicer than the Nine Hundred, but I don't consider the switch placement to be the best.

Rating + 5 Great case!

Pros: Very solid case. Well built, heavy steel. No flimsy cheap panels here. Smooth edges, not hand cuts. 3 speed fans with controls in the back as well as a switch to turn of top fan LED. Great case, really don't think I could be any happier.

Cons: Can't think of one. It's heavy, so maybe that would be a concern to someone but it's just because it's so well constructed.

Other Thoughts: Buy it!

Pros: Looks great
Keeps my system very cool
Fan controllers
Dust filters
Plenty of cable management
LEDs aren't too bright

Cons: A bit expensive compared to the competition
Front panel audio is a joke, plenty of static
Front case fans have to be disconnected to take out HDD cage

Other Thoughts: Its a little more expensive than the other cases out there but its worth the extra money. Plenty of air flow and my cable management turned out better than I thought.

No visible wires other than the top and rear case fans. Which are only visible if you look above the CPU cooler.

Wasn't sure if I would like the blue LEDs but it looks pretty cool and they are just the right brightness

Rating + 5 Great case

Pros: This was the hardest part to choose for my 2nd ever PC build. I am so thankful I got this case. It was easy to put the motherboard, hard drives, power supply, etc. into. It is sturdy and easily accessible. I have no complaints.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: FYI - the wiring is tight with the video card I got (Asus 4890) but the card is freaking huge so I know it would be an issue in any ATX case. This case rocks!!!

Rating + 5 very well built

Pros: very strong material used to build this case. very quiet with 4 fans running. case layout is well thoughtout. edges are finished and are not sharp. cable management is routed via the back of the motherboard and hides most cables. antec gives you a full install kit with this case and more screws than you will ever need, thumbs up on this case if you want a good case on a budget

Cons: 3.5inch bay adapter is a bit of a pain to get perfect to use with a card reader or a floppy drive. case does not come with a power LED which is a dissapointment for me because i use stand-by feature all the time and like a flashing stand-by light

Other Thoughts: put a power LED on the case somewhere and you have a perfect all around good quality case

Rating + 5 Quite and Clean!!!

Pros: I just got this thing fired up, and it's amazingly cool. played COD W@W for a few hours. temps stayed around 4c cooler. Previous case was an Acrylic one with the side removed. this thing moves some air!!! I should have cut out the bottom of the MOBO tray so when it's time to finish setting up my water cooling setup I won't have to completely take it apart again. but next time i guess. plenty of room in the back for the Wires, and even stuffed all the plugs for the fans in there too!

Case looks high quality, and feels rather good to the touch. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one when I build my Home theatre soon!

Cons: Not really a con, but screwing the MOBO into the tray was HORRIBLE!! I have huge hands and the one between the CPU and the top fan was terrible to get to!

Other Thoughts: I need to buy a card reader. the one I had in my old system was silver, and looks pretty lame in this case.

Rating + 5 Very good case

Pros: Sturdy, looks good. You could kick this thing and it'd just break your toes instead of having a dent or mark on it.

Tons of cooling, it's a massive air tunnel just like the 1200 only smaller and missing a couple fans.

Dust filters built in, these rock and really keep the insides clean as you could want, but dust can still seep in the top if you power the unit off for long periods.

Hard drive cages are totally removable (which is how you access the dust filters in the first place) and slide right back into place when you're done.

Cable management on the opposite side panel, it works great. I had some initial issues but that's due to me being new to building in general. Eventually routed everything to satisfactory performance.

It's QUIET on the low settings. Turning it up to max, it's still quieter than my 5870 on 50% fan speed.

Fits massive cards of all types. Though you will have to remove the optional fan bay behind the cages, which doesn't really affect my build any

Cons: The included wire ties in the back immediately broke, they're ultra cheapo stuff. Not a big deal since I don't need them anyway.

The cages have 6 screws a piece which requires both panels to be removed to access. It's annoying, but you could probably just leave a couple in a preferred order and remove them faster later on to clean the filters.

It's not very deep, and probably won't fit massive heatsinks for the CPU. It fits my V8 barely, and it doesn't interact with the side panel fan port; it's offset to avoid that.

Back panel fan controls are kinda a pain to access, but it's not really a BIG deal, just requires some lighting or muscle memory of the switch locations.

Other Thoughts: I knew the cons before I bought it, and it's not worth knocking off any eggs for those in the least. This thing kept my Phenom 955 at a reasonable 35C idle (didn't test load) with the stock cooler and some Arctic silver 5.

My Radeon 5870 hums along and never has seen over 70C with hours of load and no more than 50% fan speed; it's a great wind tunnel case as I've said.

I also love the LEDs, and note like others have said, you can only turn off the top fan's LED lighting, none of the others. Doesn't bother me any since I like them all.

Asus M4A79XTD EVO motherboard
AMD Phenom 955
OCZ Platinum 4gb 1333
Sapphire Radeon 5870 (fits great, plenty of room in the top bays!)
Caviar Black 640gb primary
Barracuda 500gb secondary
LG Multi-Drive

Also, one final note on the bigger video cards. They will poke into the fan bay enough to hinder installation of more hard drives. Be very aware of that fact.

Rating + 5 Incredible!

Pros: Wow---everything about this case just oozes QUALITY.

Cons: I'll never need to buy another case again?

Other Thoughts: This case is just incredible. Antec provides superior quality, innovative design, and great performance.
--This case is heavy, rugged, built to last.
--It offers incredible air cooling with the 2 front 120mm, a rear 120mm, and a 200mm top exhaust fan. All of which have variable speed controls. (the front have knobs, and the rear and top have 3 speeds)
--Even at max RPM's, it is whisper quiet! At the lowest settings (which seems adequate so far), you can barely tell it is running.
--It has space for 2 more 120mm fans; 1 in the HDD cage wind-tunnel, and 1 on the side.
--I LOVED the extra room behind the MB tray for cable management. You see 0 wires, which is sweet looking and also helps air circulation.
--Front panel is nicely laid-out, at the front/top with power and reset buttons flush on the case.
--Plenty of room on the inside to accomodate anything out there currently. The variable positions of the HDD cage provides many options!
--Nicely packaged

Rating + 5 Great Case!

Pros: This case is absolutely awesome. The cooling potential is massive. The top mounted 200 mm fan is great at removing hot air. This is especially true because of the bottom mounted PSU. Hot air rises and now it has an efficient way to escape. Its also big enough to house any video card out now.

Cons: None that I can tell

Rating + 5 Cool and quiet!

Pros: Fantastic case! I'm not really a gamer and I don't care about how a PC looks but I was looking for something quiet that has enough cooling power to pack a punch for some number crunching applications. I am very impressed how quiet this case is, and even though I use a passively cooled graphics card, the inside of the case get's hardly above ambient temperature. I also like the efficient cooling of the hard drives. And yes, I can recommend this to a friend.

Cons: Somewhat pricey.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for something quiet with excellent cooling performance: look no further! If you want something that makes coffee you might need another item.

Pros: Good interior size, 4 included fans with expansion for 2 more. See through side is nifty to easily see if fans are running etc.. Overal Outstanding! 9 bays and one of the few cable managment systems I'ved actually used.

Cons: No Case Speaker. Had a MOBO die and no beep codes to tell me squat. Why make a great case and not spend $5 on an internal speaker. How silly.

Other Thoughts: Buy a cheap case Speaker !

Rating + 5 Great mid tower

Pros: Excellent build quality. Very sturdy. No plastic used.

All black interior

Classy/simpler look. No boy racer bullcr*p.

Cable management holes

GREAT cooling

All adjustable fans

Fits most aftermarket CPU coolers (Including Xigmatek Dark Knight)

The chrome rivets/screws with the matte black paint job looks awesome.

Cons: Not as great its big brother the Antec Twelve hundred. I have had the Twelve hundred before and its just so much easier to work with inside because of the space. And you get a third fan on the front, for insane airflow through the case.

Aftermarket CPU coolers sit WAY to close to the top 200mm fan (Although I'm using a mATX mobo so it brings it up a bit more than a normal ATX mobo)

Other Thoughts: Great Mid tower. Bigger than the average Mid Towers by at least a quarter of an inch each way.

Pros: Large mid-tower case
Steel
Plenty of room for CPU cooler and SLI
Black insides
Quiet
Large top fan
Dust filters
EXCELLENT CABLE MANAGEMENT

Cons: Steel (somewhat heavy)
Can't turn LEDs off at night

Other Thoughts: Overall, I could not be happier with this case. I bought it for $125 shipped and it is perfect. It is runs cool, fits everything, and looks amazing. There are virtually no wires showing. The cable management is excellent. I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a good-quality, attractive case. It is quiet, the dust filters keep it clean, and the black inside is great. Highly recommended!

Rating + 5 Great Case =)

Pros: Lots of room for cable management behind the case, dust filters are great, nice side window, fan control knobs, nice black finish =)

Cons: The 8-pin connector almost could not reach behind the case, took a little bending to get it to work (on an asus 1156 pro MB). Fans are a little noisy on high, but that was expected. Also the clip to hold the fan on at the back of the hard drive cage doesn't like to stay on all that well, but its ok.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great case, and i am very happy with it =) worth every penny

Rating + 5 A great case

Pros: Superb design and finish. Spacious accomodation for all components. Efficient, silent ventilation. I build my own systems for video editing. On a previous build of a dual xeon project, I used an Antec 900 case and found it to be close to perfect for the project. Antec has made several significant improvements to the design. The placement of front usb, sound and e-sata inputs is improved as is the overall shape of the case. The front grilles now sport removable filters. The 2 drive cages each take 3 3.5" drives and slip out the front very easily . They each incorporate a 120mm fan to keep the drives cool. The metal sheet is painted black inside and out and there are no sharp edges at all. The bottom plate on which the motherboard resides has holes cut out to route power-suppy and other wires to minimise clutter. Well worth every penny of the 110 dollars it cost me at New Egg.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: Core i920, EVGA X58 motherboard, OCZ 6 GB DDR3, Corsair 850Watt, EVGA GTX260, Pioneer 205BKS, 2X30GB OCZ Vertex SSD's in RAID 0, Antec 902, - total $ 1540 incl all discounts & rebates.

Rating + 5 Good stuff

Pros: TONS of space, and cooling is unbeatable. 23/33 degrees cpu/system temp at idle with a Cooler Master V8. Love the removable drive bays, and they're spaced to still allow for airflow to the front fans. The front usb/audio panel is on top of the case, making them both amazingly accessible, and the external SATA access is icing on the cake. No more using SLOW usb connectors when attaching someone's borked HDD.

Cons: I honestly find it slightly ugly but that's just opinion. Would like some sort of concealment for optical drives, but at least they fit flush with the panels.

Rating + 3 Nice case, lousy support

Pros: * Great air circulation
* Attractive case with all of the built in blue LEDs
* Sturdy side panels/chassis
* Lots of routing holes for clean wire managment
* Lots of room for fans if you don't mind the noise

Cons: * After about 4 months of normal use, the window cracked on one of the corners. Since it was under warranty, I decided to contact Antec for a replacement side panel. I took about a month of phone calls and emails to get the replacement part, but they did finally send one.

* The front fan housings won't stay flush with the front of the case

* The front panel seems to be loose and keeps popping off when I tilt the machine forward to get to the back of the box for cleaning

Other Thoughts: If you have a large video card (and most people with gaming PCs do), you'll need to do some finagling to get it to fit.

This is my first "gaming case", which is huge step up from the $50 cheap cases I'd normall buy. All in all, I'm satisfied with it, but would probably spend more time looking at other manufacturers in the future.

Rating + 5 Fantastic!

Pros: VERY good case. This thing cools everything I throw in there nice and very low temp. My CPU runs 22C idle but I'm not quite sure about load. The dust filters are a life saver although they need to be cleaned pretty often. The case stays nice, clean and dust free! The cable management holes are also a very nice feature to take advantage of. They keep all the cables hidden away so I can see more of the hardware and also helps with airflow.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: Fit my GTX 260 easily but i had to move my hard drive to the lower drive bay because the card would hit the hard drive while trying to fit it into the motherboard.

Rating + 4 Antec Nine Hundred Case

Pros: The fans! This puppy comes with a LARGE 200 mm fan on the top. Two large fans for the front and the ability to add even MORE fans! This thing NEVER gets hot!
The plexiglas side is easy to work with, but you do have to keep that in mind that if you want to REALLY show off the case, you need to get modular power supplies and other periphials that emit light.

Cons: The power supply access is at the bottom of the case. Not a biggie, but you need to make sure that you get a power supply with long enough cords. Also, the power supply connectors for the case fans do not have the ability to connect to the motherboard, so you won't get readings from the motherboard about fan speed.

Rating + 5 The best MicroATX/ATX case you can get! Moves over 250CFM!

Pros: This case is incredible. I'm using it with a new build and the new parts I wont be able to tell a temp drop for them. But my 8600GTS was running at 82 degrees Idle, and now it runs at a solid 60 degrees Idle. That is HUGE! It also has the Black paint job even on the inside which I love. The cooling is incredible with my case moving ~250CFM (I have all fans, and a PSU) it is super cool. Also the customizability, and the cable management features are great too. It looks so great, and the bay for electronics on the top is very useful. I didn't even know it existed 'til I saw it at Best Buy, My dream case was the Antec Nine Hundred, and I found the 902 and freaked out and did an instinctual buy.

Cons: I payed $40 more for buying it at Best Buy and not looking here first. But it is so worth it honestly. I don't feel jipped.

Other Thoughts: It is the best case there is, I had the Cooler Master Storm Scout, but this 902 ruled it out, it has so many more features, better cooling. Just the best case you can get for a MicroATX, or ATX PC.

Rating + 5 Marvelous Beast

Pros: It's big, heavy, quiet, smooth, dark, attractive, durable, and does not scratch easily. A lot of the installation is tool-less. There are cages for your hard drives. It's covered with fans, which all run quietly. There are spaces on the top of the case to put screws and little objects. The IO ports are very accessible.

Cons: The massive fan on top, with the PSU at the bottom of the case, means there is a gaping hole in the case right over your motherboard/CPU. This helps to keep the case cool, but if you were to spill a drink it could take out your entire system.

Other Thoughts: This is easily the best-looking computer case I've ever owned, and that my gf has ever seen.

Rating + 5 Good Case But be careful

Pros: Quality build for the money. Good cooling even on air. Much better than revision1!
Better cable management.
Temps idle 965@ 4.1ghz 34c full load under prime 95 and AMD overdrive after 26 hours 55c..
My other case had temps at idle//21c and under full load for 25 hours 43c..

Cons: I had to get rid of a hard drive to get both of my ST 4890 2 gig version in there and still did not almost fit. I mean it is squeezing wires down to be in there!
Even 1 almost did not fit unless I removed the hard drive.

And for those with high understanding of computers and saying this is the Best case out there, sorry you are mistaken. It is one of the best for the Price range but not the best out there.

Other Thoughts: I needed a temp case until I had my TT Sword fixed. So I got this one from a Big buy retailer (was 10 bucks more but could not wait a day or 2 to get a case.
So those with 4890's or bigger watch out as if it is any bigger it wont fit! Other than that it is a good case. Good for the beginner and intermediate overclocker, if you want something with superior Air-Flow look into Lain-Li or Coolermaster! (or ThermalTake)
I owned the first version and was a good box just got to dusty as the first revision did not have dust filters.. I knew the dimensions so I cannot take an egg off for that as that was my fault

AMD 965@ 4.1ghz....6 gigs Mushking 1200, 4 SSD's in Raid 0 and had 2 1tb hard drives in Raid 1 but had to get rid of one for now to fit in my video cards..
2x4890 2 gig versions

Rating + 5 A new favorite case

Pros: Quite a well designed case, very sturdy. Penty of fans that actually run fairly quiet compared to some I've heard, and all have speed control. Panel opposite the motherboard tray is perfect for concealing wires provided they are long enough. Lots of thumb screws. Extremely good at keeping the system cool, top exahust fan is smart. Front top potion is like a flat tray, perfect for sitting removable hard drives on when plugged into front ports. I love the blue LED's.

Cons: Mic and headphone jacks on front are not labeled.

Other Thoughts: If you are into overall aesthetics and cable hiding, this case is in my opinion the absolute best. The way the HDD cages are modular is in my opinion what really makes this case so great. I believe the design of the front drive bay portion in this case represents a true paradigm shift in what should be the default case design. The included 3.5'' adapter is a very nice touch for a multi card reader and makes it look like part of the case. I prefer case designs that allow for the hiding of cables, especially when they have acrylic windows in the side as this does. The e-sata port is a nice touch too.

Pros: Great case, nice and cool. Got a good price. Easy to build in. Looks and performs great.

Cons: Screws holding one fan in place had broken off the plastic bump securing the fan. Tried to move the screw to another location (there are four). Replaced the fan in the case. When resecuring the fan, the screw broke the bump off again. Fan now secured by tape.

Other Thoughts: Not too big of a problem, but annoying as hell. If you're securing something with a screw, make sure the screw is long enought to reach something that's actually secure.

Rating + 4 Excellent case

Pros: 9 bays, divisible between 5.25" external and 3.5" internal bays in 9/0, 6/3 and 3/6 arrangements. There are a couple adapters to convert 5.25" bays to 3.5" external bays, but I haven't used them. Extraordinarily roomy, compared to all the previous cases I've had the misfortune to work with. Came with a large number of thumbscrews.

The three-drive internal bay modules have rheostats on them to control fan speed (and thus noise). Choose anywhere between high airflow and no noise. I've got three drives in one in RAID5, and they've never had an internal temp higher than 73F.

Cons: The three-bay 3.5" modules use custom-length screws to affix the drives. Not sure whether they can be replaced if lost, or if I'd have to switch to normal hotswap bays.

The three-bay 3.5" modules have air filters, but they don't look like the filter can be removed and cleaned while the module is in the system. Be mindful if you have cats or other dust sources.

Other Thoughts: Nine bays and a front eSATA port. Most motherboards come with six SATA ports, at most. Use the one IDE channel most have left, and you've got support for eight devices, seven if you want to keep that eSATA port hot. If you're planning on using more than five to seven of those bays, double-check how you plan to connect all those devices.

Power supply is mounted on the bottom, which will likely improve its life. However, it's possible to block PSU exhaust airflow with bad placement of expansion cards. Pay attention.

There's an unpopulated 120mm fan position that's positioned just right to blow directly down onto most boards' 16x PCIe slots--meaning your video card(s). The case does not necessarily come with a fan for this position, so you should probably add a 120mm fan to your cart if you buy this case.

I have one. I'm strongly considering buying a second to build a NAS backup target.

Pros: Air Flow, Air Flow, Air Flow.

The case is very solid and easy to organize how you want. Having the power supply on the bottom is nice as well which allows heat from the rest of the components to get out the very large top fan and smaller back fan. The front fans are easily changed from top middle and bottom. It is very nice to have individual fan controls build into the case so there is no need to add fan controllers.

Plenty of room for cords with the system listed below by running them behind the motherboard, which is easy to do with plenty of access room

Cons: The rear and top fans controls are way to small and hard to find if you are reaching to the back of the case from the front, but you get use to it and rarely would need to adjust. The front fans do make a significant difference to cooling and those controls are easy to get to.

Rating + 4 Awesome Case

Pros: This case first off has awesome cable management. Built very solid. The dust covers are a major advantage over the regular 900. The case cools my stuff easily and still quiet on high fan settings. The led lights are pretty cool. The case boasts the huge fan on the top. It offers front panel USB and esata. The whole case is painted black. The fan controllers offer expansion for another fan on the side. The case is able to fit todays bigger graphics cards.

Cons: I will say that the there are some drawbacks to this case. First off the case does not offer a side panel fan. Screwing the side panels in is a pain as they need to be perfectly alligned. I get static in the front headphone jack. For these reasons it gets 4 eggs

Other Thoughts: It gives you a wierd fan adapter for attaching to the back of the HD bay. I found it kind os useless since there is already a fan in front, and got in the way of my GTX 280. Not really a problem but the owners manual is only available online.

Pros: Great quality case. Simple construction for those of us who have not been spoiled by tooless cases. Interior is painted black, which is GREAT. Makes the parts I used really pop. Also, the LED lights are focused, so when you look at the fans, they are not just glowing blue like most, that have focused beams of blue light passing through them; I thought that was a nice touch. This case is like an ice box. I havn't really put my computer through any major strains yet, but the CPU is idling at 24 degrees while being overclocked from 2.67ghz to 3.33 ghz.

Cons: Not tooless, but not a big deal to me; I have a couple tooless cases and it is nice to have, but the quality of this case just overshadows that detail. The harddrive area was a bit tricky, took some tinkering to get it loose, but also not a big deal. I put a gtx275 in this case; it is a bit tight and I had to remove the extra fan bay to get it to fit, but I didn't have a fan to put in it anyway. Nor do I need one. It is a little loud when you crank up the fans, but you don't really need to do that because the airflow is so good.

Other Thoughts: I am using a spin q cpu cooler and it looks GREAT in the case. I would recommend this case to anyone looking to build a semi portable system as it is much more convenient to move around, since it is a mid tower, while still maintaining the cooling performance of many full towers. Great all around product.

Rating + 5 Best case ever

Pros: It's official the 902 almost has it all. I've extensively modded my Antec 900 and am pleased as punch to see the every mod I did to my 900 Antec did themselves with the 902. Cable management is awesome, just run all the cables out the bottom hole by the psu to the right side of the case and bring back only the cables you need through the top holes. The cavity on the right side is large deep enough to hide all those extra cables (even a corsair 750W) a little duct tape will go a long way here. The result is an almost barren looking Mobo, no clutter and great airflow. What a great looking case.

Cons: The black painted insides look slick but it's dark in there and you'll need a flashlight to see what you're doing. The 900 was silver inside, a lot brighter but not as cool looking. Removable Mobo tray would have been nice.

Other Thoughts: I put those magic feet over the rubber feet. Makes sliding it in and out so much easier

Rating + 3 Poor cable management

Pros: Mesh steel front and two front fans provide *potential* for good ventilation. But see cons. Blue lights look surprising nice. Very nice looking case. Great price.

Cons: I don't understand the reviewers who are saying that the cable management is a plus ... there is none! Unless you're willing to do your own modding of the case, the inside of your case will be a big mess. Search on the internet and you'll find many posts of people who have gone to great lengths to mod this case because the cable management is really very inadequate. Another more minor annoyance is there is no tool-less installation ... screws for everything.

Other Thoughts: I can't complain too loudly because the price is right and the case looks very nice. But I bought this based on the positive reviews here at newegg, and the reviews are way overrated. Great looking case, but not a great overall design.

Rating + 5 Very nice case

Pros: Sturdy but heavy, Great quality and finish. Looks awesome. I'm not a big fan of fan LED's but these look nice and are not overly obnoxious. The 2 fans in front each have their own fan control knob which is nice. Turn it up if you expect to do some gaming or keep it low to keep noise down. They aren't that loud anyway. Rear fan also has a fan control switch for L-M-H. I'm not using the top fan so I can't comment on it. Cable management is good too.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Core i5 750

Rating + 4 Nice case, but cheaper looking in person

Pros: It is laid out nicely for the most part. I like the holes on the backplate where the motherboard mounts so you can stash cables between it and the outer panel to hide them. If you turn all of the fans down to the lowest setting you can very good air movement with very little sound. The two things I hear are the hard drive, and wind movement (not fan noise).

Cons: There are many cons but only one is a big one. The front USB ports are very sensitive to static and will cause instantaneous reboots. I have been working with Antec tech support on this and there does not appear to be a resolution at this time. I have tried additional grounding straight to the home's ground, and replacement modules.

The case is very plasticky looking in person. It's also bulkier in size than I had expected from the picture. Not really all that bad, but it's something to consider before purchasing.

Other Thoughts: I like the case, but in hindsight for my needs it's absurd. I didn't need the Big Boy (200mm fan) for the system I built.

Rating + 5 Nice Case

Pros: The blue Led lights, 4 fans, runs really cool, there is a dust filter on the front fans, fan controls in the front and back, the window on the side, the cord organizer, fans run really quite on the lowest setting

Cons: the audio ports do not work in the front of the tower i am not sure why (most likely my fault) i am going to try and plug in the hd audio cord someday in hopes to make them work but it is not that big of a deal. The bigger problem with this case is the screws it comes with. Be careful which screws you use when attaching the mother board yo the case there are ones that look like they would fit but they do not fully tighten down and they just float in the spot and you cant pull them out easily and they are extremely difficult to remove. I had to undo all of the screws and lift the mother board up to get them out.

Other Thoughts: Great case i would recommend this to a friend. Over all great case.

Rating + 5 Stunning case with awesome styling and functionality

Pros: The case is absolutely stunning - the all-black styling gives it a polished, yet beastly look. There's plenty of ventilation, courtesy of two front fans, a rear fan and a massive top fan, all of which can be daisy-chained in case you're short on 4-pin molex connectors. Inside the case, the holes around the motherboard tray really help with cable management and keep the wire clutter down. It's hard to tell from the photos but there is actually space at the top of the tray to pass wires through. Also, Antec did a nice job of packaging - the box is eye-catching and sturdy and the case itself is covered in a plastic bag and held on both sides by some kind of plasticky-styrofoam bookends (not the stuff you can just snap in half).

Cons: The only gripe I have about this case is that you'll get to know your screwdriver pretty well any time you want to install something. Everything is secured by screws and it's especially time-consuming to add drives because you have to first remove both side panels and for 3.5" drives, you then have to remove the desired cage. I took the advice of another reviewer and just left the screws off on one side so I only have to remove one side panel to get to the cages. Lastly, the fans do get noticeably loud if you ever decide to crank them up all the way, otherwise they're pretty much silent.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I would highly recommend this case due to its combination of awesome styling and functionality. Since this was my first build, I wasn't really sure what to look for in terms of features, but I think that the next time I'm in the market for a case I'll probably look for one that's more tool-less. But with everything this case has going for it, having to deal with a bunch of screws is a minor inconvenience. Of course, I have to give props to Newegg - I ordered Sunday afternoon with standard shipping and received it Tuesday.

My first build:
Case: Antec Nine Hundred Two
Mobo: Gigabyte P55M-UD2
CPU: Intel Core i5-750
RAM: 2 x 2GB Corsair Dominator DDR3-1600
GPU: XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1GB (ZSFC)
PSU: Corsair VX450
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
Monitor: Dell SP2309W
Speakers: Logitech X-540

Rating + 4 Great Case

Pros: Outstanding airflow. The stock fans move a surprising amount of air, and the 20cm top exhaust fan blows out cool air... It *should* blow out warm air. That's how good the airflow is inside the case.

I have 2 Hard Drives, both in the bottom cage, so the top cage allows for the stock fan to take air in, and I have a Coolermaster 12cm Blue LED fan installed in the fan holder at the back of the HD cage, so it works like a wind tunnel, forcing air onto my graphics card - which, even under load now after running Left 4 Dead 2 for several hours, reaches the 55-57C mark. Not bad at all.

Stock fans are quiet, and every stock fan speed can be adjusted. The rear and top fans can be set to a low, medium, or high setting, and the front intake fans have a control knob.

Cable management is nice. Intake fans include removable dust filters. Rubber rests for the case itself and power supply to reduce vibrations.

The case is made from steel, so it's very sturdy.

Excellent case overall.

Cons: I wish this case had a tool-less design, and a removable motherboard tray. Also, the motherboard tray does not have a hole to access the motherboards retention plate for installation of some CPU heatsinks or waterblocks.

In order to get at the front intake fans' air filters, you have to remove 16 thumb screws. It's just an inconvenience.

While the case can hold 10.5" Graphics Cards, the Optional Fan holder at the back of the top HD cage will have to be removed in order to fit in in. I have a 9800GT (just over 9" long) and it's a tight fit.

Other Thoughts: Because this is a mid size case, I would recommend a modular power supply. The cable management is decent, but a modular power supply will help to increase airflow.

Overall, this is a wonderful case that should handle decent gaming rigs for years to come.

Ultimate gamer case? Maybe not, but still a great buy!

Rating + 5 Very Nice Case

Pros: There are many pros to this case. Starting with the improved angle on the front USB, Audio, eSATA ports which is a big change from my previous case where they were in the middle. Plenty of room on the inside for components to be installed and ways to manage the cables. The simple look is nice also in a time when most cases are starting to look like art work. Filters are a nice touch even if a little hard to remove. Cooling is great with the fan controls.

Case was nice enough that my roommate wants to change the one he has out now.

Cons: A removable motherboard tray would be nice, and some of the front panel cabling needs to be a little longer, but those are just minor grips

Went on sale the the day after everything was processed for me.

Other Thoughts: Compared to my last case this one is far superior in looks, cooling, overall use. Looked at the 900 but this one had free shipping and glad I changed.

Current build is
I7-860
Asus P7P55D EVO
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 1GB
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600
Antec 902
640GB WD HD
750W Antec Power supply

Rating + 5 Great Buy

Pros: -Plenty of Fans
-Nice LEDS
-Sturdy build
-PSU on bottom
-Easily adjustable fans
-Dust filters
-Cable Management
-HDD bays aren't tool less entry(I tend to break ones that are)

Cons: -Weight (would be a pain to lug this thing to LAN parties)
-HDD bays aren't tool less entry(Some people like Tool less)
-Must remove BOTH side panels to remove HDDs, CD drives
-Headphone/Mic jacks aren't labeled

Other Thoughts: A overall nice case, haven't had any issues yet, just make sure you clean the dust filters every month or so. It's a mid tower so watch the size of your GPUs.
