Very nice case
Pros: Good looking case, nice finish and love the lighting. Very easy for the most part on a new build, but....will get to that. Overall satisfied and love the quick clip in drive bays and removable hard drive bay.
Cons: Well this cames down to the details, though not a killer, I had to remove the quick clip bar that holds down add-on's because space is a bit tight inside. Also is you plan to add 2 graphics cards (I have one Nvidia 8800GTX) you will lose some space for drives. New Vid cards are dang long and this case is limited in what it can handle but doable for the most part.
Other Thoughts: Happy overall, but think cases will have to grow longer if vid cards keep getting bigger.

Solid Case
Pros: I have just recieved this case from Newegg (exellent shipping i might add) and it arrived without a scratch. Looks great, love the alluminium door and the locks, nice big fans, seems to be plenty of room inside. I installed my dvd burner and harddrive with no tools, the clips the case provides hold them in very tight-they dont move. The blue fan and the blue bubble tube in the front door look awesome, do yourself a favor and pick one up if your not looking to break your bank on a cool case.
Cons: None :)
Other Thoughts: cant wait to fill this puppy with a BFG 9800 gtx- evga 780i mobo and 4 gigs of patriot with a 600 watt purepower supply also from thermaltake!!

What a well designed case
Pros: Very easy access to the work area inside. The decorative lighting is nice. Solid metal case with some great no tools necessary access (drives require screws)
Cons: The top access USB and SATA connection does have cables coming down into the case. That is one more set of cables to manage. I haven't yet uses those ports. Not sure if they are necessary.

Awesome Case
Pros: I love this case, first off it looks awesome and it is also very sturdy. I love the usb and audio ports on the top instead of on the front panel. Great cooling also.
Cons: only con i have is that i have a 8800gts (G92) video card and it almost sticks into the hard drive cage, it takes up to of the 5 HDD slots, which is bad if you want to use more than 3 hard drives but i only have 2 right now so i have room for another if i need it.
Other Thoughts: Great case i highly recommend, but be aware if you use a big graphics cards you might only have access to 3 of the hdd slots

Easily the Best Case for $100
Pros: Black finish is beautiful, makes case presentation not just pop, but explode. Case design: 4/5 - Easily removable parts (HDD cage, screwless design elements, cross psu bar, front panels, the doors even!) The topside front panel elements are well placed, not in the way of either PSU or 5.25" drives. The cables for all items in the case are way more then long enough. Space behind the HDD cage, opposite the window is fantastic for cable hiding.
Cons: The screwless tools are not useful, they never have been for me. I removed them all without issue though. My #1 complaint will be the "92mm"ish door hole. They should have left this out, or made it 120mm. It's in the right location for CPU cooling, but not an appropriate size. I think it detracts from the case feel unfortunately.
Other Thoughts: The good news is that the cons don't come close to the pros. This is easily the hands down best case I've every encountered. I'm going to be doing some heavy modification, including cutting a shield plate the hide the 5.25"s from the window and cutting the (removable!!!) 2nd interior door to install new LED switches. My ASUS M2N-32 fits beautifully. ALSO: I've got an EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB, 4.3"x9" long. I've got about another 1" of clearance before I'd have to remove the HDD Cage. It's got 2 HDD slots that are available above the removable cage, but keep this in mind with super long cards and 3+ HDDs.

Looks Cool
Pros: Drive bays are easy to use, only took me a couple mins to get all my drives into the case. Fans are very quiet, lights look cool, very easy to get your system into this case in no time.
Cons: Quick Release bracket that locks the PCI slots down was a nogo for my huge 9800 GTX. Since the card is the size of 2 slots the bracket would not allow me to get the card in. I ended up having to remove the bracket and mount the Video card with screws. Nothing major, but this could be a hastle for anyone using a card of this size.
Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very happy with this case. I have had several thermaltake products over the past 5 years and non have ever left me disappointed. Would Recommend this case to anyone looking to only speed $100 on a case.

Great
Pros: Great structure quality, roomy, good cooling. Case isn't flimsy at all and looks good. All of the pieces come out easily (like the cross-bar under the PSU) if they need to be removed for installation.
Cons: The toolless design isn't my favorite, works well enough though, but I removed the PCI locks so that my 8800GTS would fit properly.

beautiful case
Pros: Looks great, everything fits and the pull out HD cage was nice to have when doing cable management
Cons: My case came in with the tabs that hold the front(top) panel usb/esata plate broken off. Ended up using superglue to hold on the panel which i feel is more secure then the tabs would have been
Other Thoughts: EVGA 780i MB, Q6600, 4gb (2x2) G.Skill PC 8500 Mem, 2x EVGA 8800GTS 512M Graphics cards, 150g Raptor, Zalman 9700. All fit perfectly inside this case.

Had to return because of false advertising.
Pros: Has air filter, plenty of room, looks cool and a large side window.
Cons: It wouldn't hold my graphics card without removing my HDD cage. Unfortunatly, I have 4 HD in a RAID 0 that I planned on using in this case. I researched this case ThermalTake claims the case will work with full length video cards up to 12.2 inches. Well, there wasn't any instructions on this and when I emailed customer support they basically said they was no actual kit and to make it work I needed to completely remove the HDD cage. I hardly call that an upgrade kit at all and as you can imagine, I was very upset with thermalTake. So I returned it back for a refund and ended up with the coolermaster stacker. the original one. it rocks!! ThermalTake's Armor series seems to have copied the design, but didn't do a very good job. The CM Stacker has dual power supplies. I'm going to install water cooling in the other PSU slot when I save up enough.
Other Thoughts: This is the only negative review I have ever left for any ThermalTake product that I've been using for well over 5 years. I find it a shame they are resorting to such tactics to sell their product. if this keeps up they are going to earn themselves a bad reputation. hopefully this is a fluke.

Simply Sweet
Pros: I had no problems with this case. Plennty of room to move around. Although I had to remove the bar to put in my 750 W power supply. two thumbs up :)
Cons: None, although I wish the side vent came with a fan to blow out air.

Big Improvement
Pros: I love the new design. My last build was in the original Soprano, and my only complaint about that case was the plastic door. The DX aluminum door is awesome! Magnetic closing instead of clips is very nice as well.
Cons: I just wish they'd of thought of the improvements sooner.

Very elegant case
Pros: Very nice looking case. Almost to the point you don't want to touch it for fear of finger prints. The top USB 2.0, audio/mic (azalia supported) and eSATA connection are fantastic.
Cons: Not the easiest build I have ever done, feeling cramped at some times while installing hardware. The toolless 2.25 inch drive bay locks could use some work, though they are easily removed if they don't fit your drive. Case is long enough for longer PCIe cards, but you have to remove the hard drive cage in order to do so.
Other Thoughts: I was going to remove the HD cage any way so I could get uninterupted airflow to my components, if you're going with a large array of hard drives and a long video card (nvidia 8000 series), this is not the case for you.
Over all I am very happy with the quality of this case.

Great Case
Pros: Great Case. Very solid. Best case I ever had.
Cons: Heavy, but it makes sense why. PCI clips are a little weak. Still had screw some things down.
Other Thoughts: Would recommend this case to everyone.

Nice upgrade from the Tsunami
Pros: My last case was a TT Tsunami and this is along those same lines, just a lot nicer! Magnetically shutting door, USB, Headphone and SATA inputs on the top of the case make it really accesible to plug in your hard drives, iPod, or flash drives.
Cons: The Tsunami came with a fan on the clear panel, the Soprano only has the grill. You could add your own fan I guess.
Other Thoughts: The LED's are a long strip along the door and on the rear fan. Very nice.

Pros: Great design, front door is very nice looking. Like the use of a magnet to keep it closed.
Cons: Poor cooling. BUY NON-STOCK FANS!!! Full ATX cases are harder to cool, if you're looking for a cool temperatured case, do not buy. If you're looking for a cool looking case, buy.

Great Case
Pros: Great looking case easy to work with.
Cons: Top ports leave cabling running right down in front of the clear side panel.
Other Thoughts: Could do without the screwless expansion slots had to remove it to install my video card.

Pros: Good and sturdy. Fast shipping. NewEgg is the best.
Cons: The locking front cover doesn't work as well as I was hoping for. It is very stiff and doesn't like to stay in the locked position. You have to wiggle it a little bit to get it to stay.
Other Thoughts: Other than the lock, which I hope after a little use it loosen up and work better, it is a great looking case. Once the rest of my order comes and my system is together, I will leave an update.

Simply Amazing
Pros: Right out of the box it looks amazing. Thermaltake does a nice job with the packaging, and there were no defects when I opened it. Finish on the case is surperb, definately one of the best I've seen. The front door is very sturdy and looks great witht he LED. **I know other have said you need to hold the door open, you really don't, just open it slowly and it will stay** The tool-less drives work great, and the HDD cage is very easy to remove / install. Very wide, held my Thermaltake V1 cooler with room to spare. My BFG 8800 went in no problem, didn't even need to remove the HDD cage. Plenty of room for expansion. Cooling is great - case temps around 40 C. Comes with a lot of good hardware.
Cons: The tool-less expansion slot device is no good. It doesn't seem to work well with cards that occupy more than one epansion slot, and personally, just plain screws works fine for me....If you dont have one handy, then you shouldn't be working on a computer. The case is alittle flimsy when it comes to twisting the case, but nothing to be worried about.
Other Thoughts: Great case. Looks beautiful, easy to work with, all around amazing. One little tip, the right side panel can be removed, and depending on your power supply, you can snake some of the cables around the back to hide them, keeps your case looking nice and clean.

Pros: Very sturdy and strong. Ample amount of space for big graphics cards. Tool-less design for CD drives is very conveniente.
Cons: a bit heavy
Other Thoughts: The side fan for the case is 90mm, not 80mm

Spacious and Quiet
Pros: It's really spacious and quiet
Cons: The front door is kind of heavy. And the rear slots are kind of weird. Screws are enough to hold down PCI slot cards.

Great Case!
Pros: Roomy. Nice tooless features all around. Aluminum door with metal hinges. Beautiful!
Cons: The usb, audio, and esata ports makes it a lot harder than other cases to install the psu. The front 140mm fan doesn't take in a lot of air.
Other Thoughts: Installation was quite easy except for the psu.

One word.... BEAUTIFUL
Pros: Wow!!!! this is the most beautiful cae i have ever owned. Its light but heavy duty, and the support bar really helps with that. I used a Roswill PSU and had to unscrew the bar to get it in but then i put the bar back and it looked wonderful. There is so much space to cleanly put all wires and cables my system looks phenominal.
Cons: 2 minor things.... 1. The clips that hold the second drive door closed broke (probably in shipping) but I called Thermaltake and they sent me replacements right away I got them 2nd day totally free.
2. There quite as much lighting as i had wanted so i changed the front 140mm fan for one wit blue led's in it but some ppl may like that so possibly not a con.
Other Thoughts: BUY THIS NOW!!!!!

Exceptional Case, Great Buy
Pros: I've built 6 or 7 different systems and this is by far the best case I've ever used for the money. It is stylishly functional, and ruggedly built: I am constantly upgrading components (CPU, Mobo, PSU, HD's, Graphics Cards) and swapping components is a breeze. I've never once had any problems with the case structure or components. Locking door and side panel are a plus, and my door stays open in any position I wish. I'm on my 3rd PSU upgrade, and I've never had to hack up my case for any of them.
Cons: USB / Firewire ports would be better placed somewhere(?) in front; Had to upgrade front and side fan, but can't complain when running 4-320GB Hd's and dual 7950GT's.
Other Thoughts: Absolutely the best case for the money in terms of style, build quality, and ease of configuration.

Saprano DX case
Pros: Good size, night lights all around, good cooling, plenty of room for a 680i and 8800GTS.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Spent a long time trying to find a case that did not look like it came from outerspace or if it should have been in a cartoon. It is a simple design and look.

Nice Case
Pros: Very sturdy. Nice looking. Plenty of room on inside. Stays pretty cool w/ no additional aftermarket cooling. AMD 5200, 2 EVGA 7900GTs and 3 HDs.
Cons: Would be cool if they made a version where the door swung the other way but come on...
Other Thoughts: Don't care for the Sata Connector for the front panel. Not sure what I would ever use that for and the cable for is big and red and sticks out. Not a big deal but for a open side view it kinda sucks.

Pure Excellence
Pros: I built my first computer, bought all the components from new egg of course, and this case is one of the best purchases I've made so far. The eSata port on the top is very useful and my 8800 gtx fits in their like a charm. Lights are awesome as well as the glossy finish!
Cons: None ... But Check Out My Site :P help-my-computer.tripod.com
Other Thoughts: Well Worth The Cost!

Decent buy
Pros: Awesome aesthetics. Dorsal audio and usb ports are very handy, attractive LEDs aren't too bright. fans are quiet. VERY CONVENIENT hide-away space for routing cables alongside disk drives and HDDs out of the way of the eye and airflow.
Cons: Large fan in front doesn't pull as much air as you expect for all the hype: almost as much air comes in from the 80mm vent in the side panel. It's much better at cooling my mobo than previous case, but I still has to place a 80mm fan on the case floor to cool my dual 7900GTs vid cards.
Other Thoughts: Tool-less design actually is a nice touch. In contrast to a previous review, front door DOES stay open for CD or DVD insertion.

WOW
Pros: Well I just build a computer for a client in this case two days ago. This is my first Thermal*ake case. I used to only use A*ntec cases. I have a monstrous power supply that I got in WITH THE BAR IN PLACE! You have to put it in at the right angle and it works fine.
Cons: The door does close by itself, but it isn't that hard to have to open it for 10 seconds to put a CD in.
Other Thoughts: I did have to remove the tool less expansion slot deal to get an 8800GTS in. But that does not matter because once the video card is in place you can put the tool less thing back on. (I guess that slightly defeats the purpose but it makes it easier to put other cards in later.) The bar is no problem, all good cases have stability bars.

Pros: It's large, the black finish is nice, big fans.
Cons: Poor design in general. First and foremost, there is a bar across the top for "stability" I guess. This prevented me from getting my 500w aspire PSU into the bay. I had to cut the bar out with a jigsaw before I could actually get it in there. In the process I scratched the side a little bit, which kinda angers me.
The tool-free design can't lock in my 7600GT.
Can't use the top USB ports because something malfunctioned with the thing at the top, and it shoots sparks out of the mounts when it's plugged in, and I get, "USB Power-Surge" errors all the time because of it.
Other Thoughts: I would return this case in a heartbeat, but having to cut out that bar probably voided my warranty.
Also, the fans, despite being large don't seem to move much air.

Honest Review
Pros: Solid, Solid, all parts including door. Wait, the little access door on top is plastic, but its solid plastic. The glossy paint is quite impressice. Plenty of room inside for everything.
Cons: The tooless clips holding down pci/pcie boards had to be removed to get my 8800gts card in. Was'nt too happy. ALso the front door doesnt stay open, it shuts automatically. This is irritating to always have to hold it open while putting in a CD.
Other Thoughts: Overall, Im happy. I just have to get used to holding that front door open. I havent yet.

wow
Pros: I had been in the market to get a new case for a long while now, and This thermaltake case caught my eye because the amount of OPenness and Airflow it offered. My biggest gripe with Midtower cases are Airflow and this case offers a large amount of it. It has a 120mm fan in the back and 140 mm fan in the front maxmizing airflow, believe it or not this case is not load at all both fans usually stay at really low rpm's because of their size.
The case also has a toolless design so mounting drives and other peripherals are actually very easy. Along with the PCI slots. I would have liked the Motherboard tray to have been removable but it doesn't matter. The front of the case is heavy and very sturdy have locks for the front of the case as well as the side panel are staples of the thermaltake design and am very happy with the overall use of this case
Cons: So far the only con I have is the Ports on top of the case, Granted its very useful to have those ports but how they are threaded through made it slightly difficult when installing the Powersupply, but a little push was all that it took nothing to worrying or frightening. So its minor but its not a big deal.

Thanks
Pros: Hey thanks for answering that question because my case will be here on Tuesday so i was kinda wondering if i would have to remove the HD cage according to Thermaltakes site.
Cons: No way Jose.
Other Thoughts: I saw the review on 3dgameman.com and had to buy the case afterwards.

8800 GTX - No problem
Pros: Great layout with plenty of room for a mid-size case. Solid construction and with quality appearance.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Will hold a 8800 GTX video card without problems. The HDD cage cage and no-tool PCI have to be removed prior to installation. Once the HDD cage is back in place, one slot for a HDD can not be used due to the length of the card, but who needs 5 HDD slots anyway

Sweet Case
Pros: The case is a beauty, great size, little bigger than most mid size cases ive had before. Case seems like it is very sturdy so far. Everything fit well.
Cons: Its very easy to get finger prints and smudges all over this case, but luckily comes with a small wipey!!!

Thermaltake Soprano DX Top Notch!!
Pros: Excellent case!! Well laid out and very easy to work with. The case is made of very high quality aluminum and feel very sturdy. One giant 1400mm fan in the front that will not only cool your HD's but everything else. Very quiet also, rather a purr then the sound of being in a wind tunnel. Very easy to get to and clean fan filter in front! Nice glossy jet black finish! If your looking for a top notch case to show off your rig then look no further!
Cons: On the heavy side but who cares, this isn't for a lan party.

thouroughly impressed
Pros: 1st to review - great case. quite. expansive. i have my eVGA 680i board in this bad boy. my e6600 is running at 3.4ghz on air cooled. plenty of room for expansion - but this is a sweet game machine - good airflow.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: if you use front loaded media often (CD, DVDs, etc) be aware this is a case with a swinging 'door'. the door doesnt really impeed the tray from opening, it swings pretty light but is of solid construction. the plexi side panel has a vent that can be adapted to hold a 80mm fan.
