Great case
Pros: Room Inside its great, cable management it's very easy Big for multi hard drives, video cards and any possible add-on you want to use inside that case.. air flow its good
Cons: The manual it is bad, for such a great case the manual doesn't help at all... no screws description and use.. they left the user to try to figure it out the screw needs.. for the price as a user I expected a better manual..
Other Thoughts: the top fan its ok but with my big PSU I moved it to the bottom which makes more sensce to me.. the look its great it is an impresive case for your high end machine.. I would like to be able to add a side fan.. which would be a great addition for this case.. I hope they think of that for future cases..

Fantastic but has some unnecessary minor drawbacks
Pros: This case is expansive, sturdy, cool looking, and screams gamer. It has some cool design quirks and offers an intense case for that gaming rig you've always been dreaming of. Likely to inspire awe by your family (mine has) and comes equipped with some of the best cooling options available in a full tower chassis. Sliding motherboard tray is a plus, and for its size its surprisingly light (though still 30 lbs haha). Also, the air cooling is relatively quiet, something that is to be found in most things thermaltake. Chances are, this case will be the ultimate case for you, and your machine, but like a sour patch kid, in the beginning its sour and then it gets oh so sweet. On to the cons!
Cons: Not so user friendly for the inexperienced. Lets start with the manual...i hate the manual. My motherboard tray still has huge dents on the edges from me slamming my screwdriver into it out of rage at the manual. I chose this case for my first real gaming computer building experience. So cool for me since the manual comes equipped with such helpful hints as "Secure the fan using screws, like shown." Thats it, thats the full installation segment on their fan. Cool since there are atleast 6 different screw types and they NEVER tell you which to use, or even where/how to position anything. I found myself using the pictures as my manual, which sucked. Sidepanels also become a hassle as the two thumb screws (although the space is a little difficult to use your thumb in) must be removed to remove the panel and the thumbscrews themselves are obnoxious because the holes for them are too small and are partially covered by parts of the side panel, resulting in screwdriver enforced "thumb" screw
Other Thoughts: This case is a marvel in looks and performance. I cant say the case is marvelous when it comes to installation. But the Xaser VI caters perfectly to the high-end gamer market it is intended for and combines performance with an overzealous amount of expansions and future-proofed versatility. Flaws include minor things that amount to nothing once you get beyond installation. Some of the visual bling is slightly weak, but its bling, the case itself is as solid as can be. Once you get into intense or even casual performance, it reveals itself as the monster it truly is. Buy it if you have the money, I can guarantee that you will be immensly satisfied with the Xaser VI, i know i am

Easiest case I've worked on so far
Pros: Light weight (compared to my Xaser 3, that would give you a hernia), easy access to everything, looks good (in my eyes anyway), has nice filtering material on the 5.25 slot covers as well to reduce dust intake, always liked the side mounting HDD cradles looks far better and easier to get to.
Cons: Screws for the side panels are a pain to put back on, might be due to being left handed though.
Other Thoughts: I couldn't find the airflow problems mentioned in the previous post, top fan has a good inch at the least to vent through the mesh grills either side of the "X", front door is also partly mesh grill, no problems there either.

Looks cool, but functional quality isn't there....
Pros: Lights on the interface and X shaped start up button are cool. Extra compartments to put whatever in there are cool. The wind tunnel feature for your Hard Drives is cool. Structurally sound. Geared toward those who use water-cooling if you use that kind of thing.
Cons: The amount of money you spend on this case does not parallel the quality of fans they put in the case. Soon after I bought this case the fan on the top stopped spinning. I have to hand start it now. And when it is started it makes this Humming Sound. The same goes for the fan behind the Hard Drive facility. It tries to start, but now it just goes... "RrRrRrrrRrrRrrRrrrrrrrRrrRrrrR".... untill I either reach in and hand start it.... or just wait until it stops going "RrRrRrrRrr". They say this case is "Aerodynamic". They meaning the ones who make this case. I'll provide one example proving that statement false. The fan on top is directly blocked by the middle of the "X" on the panel above it restricting airflow.
Other Thoughts: Even if you like this case, look elsewhere. Yeah it has cool lights and whistles, but there are other cases out there that function a lot better when it comes to airflow. They give you two big fans that stop working after a short period of time. The Door on the front of the case is designed to look cool (It somewhat is)....., But it actually hurts functionality. Bottom line. The door restricts airflow. I gave it 2 eggs because this case does not deserve to have a 5 egg rating. 5 eggs to me means you are totally satisfied and means it has met or exceeded your expectations for relatively a long time IE (1 month to a Year)... It has not
Manufacturer Response:Dear Justin Time, Please contact ttsupport@thermaltakeusa.com for the defect fan(s). Thank you,

Quad SLI on Water
Pros: Very good for cable management, at least 14 pounds lighter the its steel sister case, plenty of room for quad sli layout. The adjustable psu mount is very cool.
Cons: The case does not lend itself to straight forward modding for installing radiators. While there is room for a 240 mm radiator at the bottom of the case, there really is no other location for like a 360 mm or additional 240 mm radiator.
The stamped side panels and top sliding panels would have to be heavily modded for additional radiators.
Other Thoughts: Not really a case for water cooling, in my opinion.

Thermaltake Xaser VI
Pros: Awesome Case, Lighter Than The Xaser III That I Upgraded From, Yet Slightly Bigger. Also The Unit Has A Wide Plastic Stand That Elevates The Case Up Approximately An Inch Allowing Air Flow Under The Case As Well As Making It Stable So It Wont Tip Over Easily. The Large Turbine Fans Maximize Airflow Without Making It Sound Like A Vacuum Cleaner, Very Quiet. The Slide out Motherboard Panel Makes Installing The Motherboard Very Easy. Also The Top Slides Open As A Storage Compartment Which Is Very Nice But Believe Me The Top Back Black Piece Is Part Of This & Is NOT To Be Used As A Handle It WILL Break.
Cons: Only Comes With 1 5.25 To 3.5 Adapter, While You Can Get One, You Probably Wont Be Able To Find One With The Glossy Black Finish They Provide. I Have Contacted Thermaltake About An Extra One But They Approximate 2-3 Months Before They Start Offering Them. The Push Access Door At The Top Front Seems A Little Fragile, I Don Not Think It Will Break If Your Somewhat Careful. It Does Scratch Somewhat Easily.

followup: upgraded
Pros: didnt appreciate the case until i really dug into it; as first post; large, roomy and relatively light ; if u r a tinkerer this case is for you; no stupid inefficient air duct style solutions; well designed HDD system; cage /cable mgmt good; cooling appears adequate; modular HDD mount /cooling fan replacement; both sides come off (handy) front connectors abundant (incl 2 esata)
Cons: the PCI mount system is junior high design but still works in old style; believe it or not the manual actually helps figure out the various attach/detachs of the subsystems (thats a little too bad u need a manual for that) front io panel flap is weak design as will break sure
Other Thoughts: this 5 star was to balance earlier critique of 4; giving 2 4.5s which is where i really think this case sits;it is a bit pricey but also a solid step above the gaming mid towers; still likely a real dust trap over time given the lack of screens and free flowing sides; would have preferred drive cage of 6 HDD matching ICH9R SATA capability

good not great
Pros: large and roomy but light; good cooling; well equipped front panel
Cons: internal hard drive bay enclosure is really a 5 in 4; that means u can secure 4 drives using their brackets (weak design and NOT shown in pictures) or just sit 5 drives (bad choice) the bottom optional drive enclosures are needed for cooling so really u r maxed at 4 drives; the front panel cover is badly designed and weak and will break given time; appears dust magnet design
Other Thoughts: for the price i wouldnt get it again

sexy
Pros: HUGE ROOOM!!!!! What I love most i the harddrive slots. You can mount 7!!!! harddrives in there. My Old ThermalTake Shark only gives me 5 slot and i have 7 harddrives, to fit the harddrives in i have to buy extra 3.5 to 5.25 slot holders. Leaving me no room for my second burner and my card reader.
Cons: cons... this word sounds familiar...hmmmmm....nope not ringing any bells.

Thermaltake Xaser VI - Fantastic!
Pros: The Xaser VI is nothing short of fantastic in every aspect. The construction is extremely solid and well designed. The cross fan ventilation derived from the three 140mm and one 120mm fans plus the aerodynamics of the ventilation system help to keep airflow and circulation constant. Plus - it's quiet. There is more than enough bay space both 3.5" and 5.25". Front panel door and a storage drawer. The brushed aluminum outer shell is classy yet rugged. This is a Full Tower so it does have some size to it. I would highly recomend this case to anyone who is serious about building a nice rig with a lot of horsepower!
Cons: Nope - none!
Other Thoughts: If I were bending the metal and melting the plastic myself to build a chassis - It would have the look and the stability of this case.
