Slick LEDs. Good quiet fans. Cons: Plastic Orange Front Panel, slightly different color than steel chassis. I don't get the "beeps" when the my pc starts up. Matthew Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month	1/21/2010 1:58:39 PM Very nice case. Good support from NZXT Pros: Very stylish and cool looking case design. Blue LEDs look pretty. Everything fits nicely inside with plenty of drive bays and spare room to put extra cables and junk out of the way. I bought my case used from a friend. It was actually blue and I painted it a bright orange. I had heard the orange of this case was more of burnt orange like Texas University. (which isn't good for me since I'm a OSU cowboy) I love the screwless features for all the drive bays and the sideways hard drive bays at the bottom. Makes removing hard drives very painless which is good if you need to do that a lot (which I do). Cons: The fan on the side of the case is not very good quality. I am going to replace it with a better one eventually. Also, there is a metal screen that sits between the side duct fan and the plastic vents. The mesh is very small and greatly inhibits the airflow from the fan. I recommend removing it. Other Thoughts: Since my case was used, it did not have the plastic rails used to install hard drives into the sideways hard drive spaces. The support team NZXT great. Even though I had no invoice or anything for the case, they still shipped me the pieces for free. All I had to do was send them some pictures of the case as proof. They responded to my emails quickly and were very easy to work with. Also, I would like to comment about newegg's excellent service. This is my first computer build and I ordered all of my parts from newegg. My order was processed quickly and securely and everything was shipped together. noobcrew Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: more than 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg	1/12/2010 4:03:29 PM Holding Strong Pros: It has been over 2 years since I purchased this case; and it's still holding strong. -Not flimsy -Reasonable price -sweet looking case? -The fans work great, even room for a third in the front. Cons: -Paint scratches easily -one LED on the 120mm fan burnt out, just as many others have experienced. -the HD slide attachments aren't the strongest (Because they are plastic) so when you're pulling your HD out make sure not to apply too much pressure, or else you will break it :) Other Thoughts: This is a sweet case, which is strong enough, but doesn't weight a ton, does a pretty good of cooling your computer and has plenty of room for upgrades.. If you're looking for a good case that will last the stand of time with a reasonable price tag, look no further. I'd only suggest a different color? Thought my baby might break the front door off once she figured out how to open it, but it's held up after almost one year. Cons: Flimsy clip broke that retains the video card - just broke it out and used a screw. It seems more secure that way anyway. Replaced the rear fan with a lighted one and moved that one in front of the drive cage for better cooling. Guy Sullavin Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 day to 1 week	8/30/2009 4:15:36 PM Roomy, Cool, Sexy. Pros: Very, very roomy. Very easy to install my Mobo. Lots of room for my ASUS GTX 260. It's Keeping my products cool (not a big fan of over clocking, so i cant comment there). Looks very slick. Very quiet, but i guess its because I'm used to 80mm fans before I got this. The Hard drive System is very neat and Tidy. Also Comes with a cable tie if your into good cable management. Cons: Didn't come with that 3rd 120mm, also when watching a movie, my Blu-Ray player has a blinking light on it which shines through the front window, very distracting, especially when the room is dark. Very easy to get fingerprints all over it. Other Thoughts: Didn't buy it from newegg specifically, but I want people to know how good of a case it is. I also accidentally plugged the reset sw into the power so now to run it on I have to open the front panel and press the small shiny silver button inside instead of the one external, easy fix, just too lazy. Toolless design made everything a breeze. Seems that these cases are a solid step up from Apevia.. the guts are still the same but the materials are more solid feeling and the case is much more attractive. Cons: Not as orange as the advertisement claimed? Little tight with bigger video cards. Other Thoughts: Fairly standard layout, reminded me a lot of my previous X-SupraG from Apevia. Amusingly enough, there are two floppy slots, but only the top one is useable-- the case front doesn't open at the level of the lower floppy slot. Roomy & shouldn't have any problems with oversized after-market cpu fan. Used ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro, with plenty of room to spare. Didnt notice any sharp edges, didnt cut myself maybe I got lucky The fans are 120mm, moves enough air and arent too noisy. Cons: 5x 5.25" bays!!! Would it be too much to ask for some 3.5" adapters? Not exactly tool-less. But still easy enough to work with though. Drive locks arent very strong...but I had to use a guide screw. Other Thoughts: Added a 3rd 120mm fan to the front. As said before the orange is bright but it matches my Ikea table so no cons there. No loose parts, nice cable bundling. Light weight for the size. LEDs all work. Quite Fans. Love the side fan dust screen. Front ports work. Components all fit tight. Just works right. Cons: I believe the front ports are USB 1.0 only. A bit pricey for not having a Power Supply. Front Door cover a shade or 2 different color orange than the case itself. Clashes. That's pretty weak. Pros: Great burnt orange color, No sharp edges, very sturdy, head turner, and with 5x 5.5" bays you have plenty of room to add drives. Cons: If you plan on using a floppy, the front door will not shut with a floppy sitting the the drive. If you plan on adding a card reader, you have to put it in the top 5.5" bay, other wise the front door will not close with a card in the reader. Pros: Large case with plenty of room to work with and expand into. Easy to add another fan in front of case near lower hard drive storage. It has great airflow and comes with a decent side fan with blue LED. I love the way the case looks and always have people asking if it's an alienware case. The orange like other reviewers have stated isn't a bright orange but a orange/copper burnt look that I like. The case is also heavy with it's steel construction. Case design and look is great. Clear Panel is a nice touch as well takes the boredom out of the box. Great Value Cons: Be careful of standoffs being metal, this one needed teflon washers to prevent shorts between mobo and case surface. Box could be more burnt orange than copper but both work. Other Thoughts: I see no reason for any discontinuance complaints that may exist, this case is an economical way to have a thoughtful design short of buying alienwares box. Cons: My only complaint is that it's not quite as orange as it appears in the pictures. Its more of a copper/brown. Other Thoughts: Has clips almost similar to most Dell computer cases covering the PCI slots so you can just clip cards in, but it is still possible for you to screw it in as well if you want the added security. Big enough to fit a 8800gts without moving my hard drives around. Very quiet with stock fans. Sturdy case, i have dropped stuff on it without scratching or chipping. This case has lots of room, its very sturdy, the drive installations were a breeze, the fans do an awesome job, the front panel door seems to be very sturdy plus the magnets hold it closed very well, and the case just looks amazing. With my other case my GPU was running 66-69 degrees Celcius idle. With the NZXT Apollo the, GPU runs approx. 56-60 degrees Celcius. A whole 10 degrees less! Cons: The two front LEDs don't glow, but I don't think I hooked it up right. I'll tinker with it later. Other Thoughts: GREAT case! Would recommend to any mainstream gamer. I just really liked the look of it and liked that it stands out compared to other cases. Has a nice rusty orange color. The tool less design is great. It's not one of the cheap ones that half holds in your drives. After you lock in your hard drives and cd drives, they dont move. More than enough hard drive and cd drive bays. I got a blue led case fan for the front fan bay and the front looks pretty sweet with the blue light coming out the front vents. The expansion slot covers also work nice with a tool less clip that hold your PCI cards in. At first I didnt think they worked right because my 8800 gt moved around, but I just didnt have it clipped in right. Cons: Be forewarned there is no front panel firewire port. I assumed it was on there, but its just the usb and audio ports. But that doesn't really matter for me anyhow because I don't use them. I personally like the clear side panel, but if you're a neat freak remember that you'll be able to see inside the case, and no matter how much cable management you do it still will look kind of cluttered. The screw-less hard drive and removable drive abilities were nice. Cons: The case in no where near the color of the first picture. The other pictures are a much better representation. Only one blue led fan. Other Thoughts: Don't be fooled by the picture where is shows a different color and extra led fans. Its kind of annoying how the picture is an obvious misrepresentation of what you get. Big on the WoW factor. Lots of room and well made. Did I mention it looks drop dead gorgeous? When we go out on dates it gets a lot of looks. Cons: Well it’s been in market for a couple of years and could use a rev. Cable management, for example, was difficult… actually it was a nightmare! The case needs to be about a 1/2 inch wider between the MB panel and the side panel to give you more room to run your cables behind the motherboard. Adequate airflow from fans provided. Nice "burnt orange" color. I have lots of good things to say about this case, and it was worth the price. Others may be cheaper, but the 120mm fans keep the noise to a minimum, which is what I was looking for. Cons: My side fan had an LED not working, and I still haven't even received a response form NZXT. I'm not too happy with their support. Also, I'm not a fan of cases that have fan spots with no fans supplied for them. However, it did come with 2 out of three filled, which is normal. Other Thoughts: I went from a case that had a total of 5 80mm case fans, with room for two or three more, to this. I knew my computer was loud, but had no idea how bad it was until this case. Pros: Plenty of external and internal bays, screwless design worked like a charm for me (2 HDD's, a FDD, and 2 DVD burners), plenty of room for a micro atx board with a cooler master RR-CCH-LB12-GP and a 9600 gt if you keep your wires neat. Cons: I would have rated this case a five if the fan connectors weren't flimsy. Didn't want to line up at first but a little wiggling did the trick. I noticed that if I move them the wrong way the blue led goes out. Other Thoughts: Color difference between front and side panel is noticeable so if you're picky, beware. Color is more of a bronze or copper than orange but I like it anyway. Definetely not red. Pros: Lots of drive bays internal & external, 'tool-less' installation of drives, etc., rolled edges for safety (also adds rigidity,) Color, pretty lights! Cons: The clips that hold PC cards in place could be made of a stronger plastic. I hope there's someplace to get extras in case of breakage. The plastic front panel color does not exactly match the rest of the case. Top hinge on front door slightly loose. Other Thoughts: Though the color is unlike any picture of the case anywhere I've seen on the web, including the manufacturer's website, Definitely not orange. If not red then at least reddish-orange. Everyone who has seen it calls it 'the red one.' Lucky for me I like that. Nice contrast w/ the blue LEDs. This has been a good choice for my first mod; mostly a transplant out of a tired beige box. It's like Alienware without the $1500 up-charge. The case has a lot of room and the drive bays are laid out well. As I prefer cases with the PSU up top, this one was great. Cons: - The tool-less design rails didn't fit on my LG DVD burner. I don't know if it's LG or the rails, but beware. Had to slide it in without the rails and screw it in from the right side. - The tool-less design on the back panels is a little flimsy. I busted one and ended up having to break the whole thing out. Had to find a screw to put the plate back in manually. - I personally did not find the case manual to be all that well done. Wasn't a big deal for me because I didn't really need it, but if it's your first case make sure you have some other documentation. - Installing the extra 120mm fan in front of the HD cage was a bit of a pain. Other Thoughts: Be a little careful about the color. Originally when I bought this I was thinking it would be the bright orange in the picture. It is actually much more of a dark metallic orange that to me ends up looking like a brushed copper. Still a nice look, but just not exactly the color I thought. And lets not forget the great design and colour; I'm usually not one for flashy colour and design but the burnt copper looks amazing. Price. $50 after rebate can't be beat for this quality. Screw less designs make installation easy (still used screws for added security). Lighter than expected. My componets fit nicely with room for an additonal 8800 GTS. Cons: 2 of the 4 3.5 drive bays are side loaded. It's a personal preference but I don't much like it. 2 of the rear fan plug pins were slightly bent, not enough to dock it but it was an annoyance. No MOBO tray. And speaking of MOBO's, I don't think it will accommodate the new DDR3 MOBO's, then again it is only a Mid Tower. At this point though I don't think DDR3 technology is worth the money or performance gains. Maybe in a couple of years. 1kw PCU was a snug fit, but I think anything below a 900W will fit fine. Wire management could have been better. Rear fan different make than side fan and slightly noisier. Other Thoughts: This is my first build and this case made installation of my components fairly easy. Only problem I had was with wire management, but my computer savy friend helped me with that. Plenty of room; I’m running a 680i board with an 8800GTS gpu. No problem with space. Plastic tool-less mounts work fine. Good workmanship and design. The magnetic latch is nice. Cons: I did break one of the plastic latches at the back of the case when installing the sound card but secured with the screw instead, so no prob. The case does run a little warm even with optional front fan but it hasn’t been a problem with my system to this point. Could be my mb’s problem. Never did get my hd activity light too work right. Instructions described different wire colors than my case wiring for this connection. Not a big deal and it could have been my mb or hd prob’s as well or maybe just me. Other Thoughts: This case looks awesome. I got the NZXT temp display for it because it looks cool but it was difficult to fit it in and doesn’t work well at all. (separate review) I wouldn’t bother with the display. Btw you can see the display through the tinted lens. Looks very nice with blue cathode lights bought separately. I love the large side panel window. Good size. Cons: the tool less DVD and floppy drive things are plastice and one of mine broke. No biggie because i only need 1 DVD drive and there are still 2 that work fine and i can always just use a steel screw to keep on in if i had to. Wish there was a top fan but air flow is still great. HDD cage gets in way of front 120mm fan blocking some air flow but does have 6 large hole punched in it to help solve that. No blemish on the paint. This case only appears orange under very bright white light; under room light, it's more like a brownish orange. Nice front grill and side panel, very clean and sleek look. It's interal space is above average size-wise, nothing special there. Cons: I am not a big fan of the transverse mounting HD case, it has its advantages but I just prefer straight ones since I don't swap out my drives all the time. Front panel ports on the side is a little weird, but actuall unavoidable in order to keep the sleek look of the front while still provide easy access. Front bezel's paint is a little lighter than the body, but hardly noticable. The top of the case arrived slightly dented, but also hardly noticeable unless you are staring at it up close under full light. Other Thoughts: I wish they make the size panel fan removable, nothing wrong with it but you could get stuck with it if it breaks. Plenty of room inside and even comes with two 120mm fans (1 blue led, one black) Cons: The Middle drive bay has three slots that seem not to allow HDDs to be locked into place. The smoked section of the front looks awesome with the black Silverstone Bay converter. Cons: Very sharp metal edges inside the case. I was even being careful since I build computers all the time and still ended up almost needing stitches. Included fan should be 3 pin instead of 4. The Copper(is orange btw) paint has a sparkle like a sports car in the sun. Blue LED lights compliment the orange well. Smoky see-through front window! Tool-free design! This case is roomy. Easy to install 5.25" drives. Provides great air flow. My system would often overheat prior to getting this case. 120mm side fan positioned over my graphics card and Northbridge, nice! Cons: Tough to install my 3.5" hard drives. Very tough fit. Was shipped with a chip in the silver window holder on the side of the case. Noticeable, but the beauty of this case makes it barely even noticeable. Other Thoughts: I also installed the Zalman CNPS9500 LED and NZXT Sentry 1. The Zalman all copper HSF with blue LED looks superb with this case and is a perfect match to this case. The bright blue faced Sentry 1 gleams through the smokey see-through front window. Very smooth edges on all of the interior metal. Cons: It is a little cramped when you put in a large motherboard. It just takes a little more time to get the power connectors, ribbons, and FP connectors to look good. WORST PART THE POWER BUTTON WAS DEFECTIVE! Did I mention the looks? Decent amount of space, great tool free features. Cons: No cable management options, no removable motherboard tray, doesn't come with an intake fan at the front. It runs kind of hot. Other Thoughts: Great case for my first build. It would be a five if it were a little bigger. The audio/USB cables could be on the other side, but that's just preference. Love the blue lights in front and inside. Everything went in smoothly. 2 big quiet fans. Cons: Like you've heard before, the paint is a bit thin, just have to be careful with it. My window had a few marks on it, like someone played around with it before it got to me. Other Thoughts: I recommend adding an extra 120 fan to the front before you start putting hardware into it. General design in line with what I expect of a case. Nothing special, but very nice overall. It was for a client who wanted it to match the room... cool blue LED's, not too bright. Cons: Hardware rail kits were a little on the cheap side. Some of the cabling that wasn't needed (1394 to front access) wasn't easily hidden, which is an issue (for me) when you have a clear side. Front panel ports are on the side of the face, which can be hard to get to depending on where you put the case. Other Thoughts: If you like copper (note it's not really orange), this case is pretty nice. Pros: Very nice look, sort of like an alienware case, but I like it a bit more then I do those. Plenty of room to work with, very fast and easy to install drives and the motherboard was a breeze to install. Solid as well. The most in depth user guide for a case I have seen, and I have worked with many being a PC techician. Cons: Wasn't quite the orange it appeared online, more of a burnt orange/copper thing going on, just like those copper/orangish colored cars you see out and about. Got scratch on top of case relatively easily just sitting around my room before everything was installed, must have been cat but just seemed awfully easy to scratch the paint. Finally have front firewire ports along with the normal USB & audio hookups. Cons: Case is not the same shade of orange it shows in the picture, much more copper then orange, which is kind of a bummer being a Tennessee Vol fan, BUT it isn't like I am going to showcase the thing for all to see, worse things have happened. If I was a Texas fan it would work since they have that burnt orange thing going on, but not true orange. Other Thoughts: I am going to put an exhaust blower and possibly another fan in the case to help with more air flow since it only have the 2 120mm fans.
