Pros: great mobbo, runs cool and really look's nice
Cons: i have an IDE DVD burner and a IDE Hard drive when i plug both at the same time they have a conflict and only one of them works. have to use my dad's Sata HDD until i get a new HDD. really wish it would have 2 IDE connections.
Other Thoughts: really a must. work's great no problems yet and i really love it.

A great board to test your patience with!
Pros: I bought this motherboard months ago, but have only been actually USING it for around a month and a half, and needless to say it's a solid board. It looks great, I love its RAM capacity, it will team up with a Q9550 Quad-core CPU without any hassles, and it will support a Crossfire setup with two Radeon 4870's beautifully.
Cons: The only 'Con' I can think of about this board is that it is NOT for everyone! You really have to know your stuff in order to get this board to work right with certain RAM. While I do have decent knowledge about hardware, I'm still a newbie to tweaking BIOS settings for RAM, CPU, FSB, NorthBridge, and so on. Depending on the kind of hardware you get, you may have to adjust settings a bit to acquire a stable system. I learned this the hard way. !!Be sure to update your BIOS to Revision 2101 when you get your system up and running!!
Other Thoughts: In my current setup, in which ALL parts were bought here on Newegg over time, I teamed this motherboard up with two(2) 4GB sets of OCZ Fatality 1 Gaming RAM for a total of 8GB. However, I had to tweak the Timings and Voltage a bit to get only 4GB stable at a time (I removed two of the four RAM chips). In the BIOS, for this particular RAM, the Timings were set to 5-4-4-15; Voltage to 2.0 (even though the chips say 2.1), and adjusted DRAM Frequency = DDR2-800mhz - DRAM Static Read Control = Disabled - DRAM Read Training = Disabled - Mem. OC Charger = Enabled - A.I. Clock Twister = Lighter, and then left everything else set to AUTO. Again, this has proven stable on two 4GB sets of OCZ Fatality 1 Gaming Series RAM at 800Mhz used one at a time. Haven't tested both sets yet, but it looks promising. So, like I said in the title, this board will test your patience with your RAM if nothing else, so be aware that you COULD have difficulties (BSOD's) if your BIOS isn't configured right.

A generally solid board
Pros: Overall this is a very solid board. Running with a Q6600 ( 2.4ghz quad core ), and 8GB of RAM this is like a rock. For the most part, everything works as it should.
Cons: There are only a few minor issues I have with this board.
First it seems that of the 8 SATA ports, you can really only use 6. The other 2 are only to be used in what seems to boil down to over-hyped hardware RAID 0.
Second is a bit more of an annoyance, every so often maybe 1/4 of boots. The hard drive detection takes a good 5 or 6 minutes during POST. I have 5 hard disks and 1 SATA cd/dvd but regardless it takes much longer than it should.
The only other very minor issue is that the Dual Gigabit uses two different network interface chips. One kept randomly resetting during use, but since I switched to the other one no problems.
Other Thoughts: Despite it's few annoyances this is a very good board. I haven't had any major issues with it which could not be worked around. ASUS did good here. With this board I have, a Q6600, 2 x ( 2 x 2GB ) RAM, 4 500GB WD Blacks, a 73GB Raptor, and a 7900GS running both Linux 2.6 and Windows 7. All the operating systems I have tried on here (Linux 2.4, 2.6, Windows 7, OpenSolaris, and FreeBSD) had full support for all this boards components out of the box.

Solid Board, Good Performer
Pros: It worked the first time, right out of the box. No BIOS updates. No tweaking. It just worked.
Lots of IO. From USB ports to SATA ports.
Cons: I haven't yet achieved a working overclock. That comes down more to my overclocking knowledge, and lack thereof, the the board. But it does have the easy overclock settings in the BIOS, and so far, none have worked.
Other Thoughts: I'm running Windows 7 RC, so have had a difficult time getting drivers for the ASUS utilities. Hopefully the will be out with, or before, the release to market.

Gamers Must Have This
Pros: Tons of slots for DDR2 Ram. 16gigs worth. PCI-e and expansion slots are great. Fits perfect in just about any case you can get. Using this Mobo specifically for gaming. This board is CRAZY. If you are serious about gaming, this is a must have Mobo.
Cons: NON.
Other Thoughts: This board is supporting the following: Wolfdale E8500 3.16mhz Duo Core processor 8 gigs of OCZ 1066mhz Platinum RAM BFG GTX 275 Video Card without any issues at all.

This Board works but Died sooner than expected
Pros: Not sure if I can say that there are many pros to this board. Lots of USB ports, dual network ports, decent onboard sound card.
Cons: Got this motherboard back in November of 2008 and it has worked with a few minor glitches, mostly with BIOS resets. This past weekend (July 2009) I turned the computer on and i got no video and no hard drive activity. My first thought was video card was dead. After trying other components and just trying to get the BIOS to boot I realized it was the motherboard that had stopped functioning. I wouldn't recommend this board at all. Also ASUS tech support, the only good thing is that they are open on weekends. As for now im without my gaming rig and will know in 48 business hours if im getting an RMA or not. Unfourntunently I can't request an advanced RMA which has me concerned, Do not buy this board, there are others out there that will have the same features that are more reliable.
Other Thoughts: Asus needs to wake up and take care of the customer, Ive read the horror stories here about RMA's and recieving new non working motherboards. Again I dont reccomend this board at all and until i see how this RMA process works out I would stay away from ASUS for the time being. Very displeased with this product.

Decent Motherboard
Pros: This motherboard has a cool design with good heat sinks allowing the board to cool properly. The BIOS is very easy to use to overclock and still runs stable.
Cons: Like all MoBos (Motherboards) it has some quirks. The quirk I had was incompatibility with my USB 2.0 keyboard. When I started the MoBo with my USB keyboard plugged in, the computer would FREEZE at boot time at the BIOS screen ("Press Tab to see the post messages, Del to enter setup") and it would never post. IT WOULD NOT POST AT ALL. First I thought it was something bad with the motherboard or the other hardware and i tried everything and got nothing. Finally, by cheer luck (I was about to send my MoBo back), I accidentally unplugged my USB keyboard and my MoBo started working fine. After playing and testing with the MoBo, I found two ways to make it work. To plug the USB keyboard after the system booted, OR to disable USB 2.0 support on the BIOS. The issue with the second approach is that all devices on my system are now considered USB 1.1 rather than 2.0.

Great Board!
Pros: This has been the best board that I've owned thus far! It's stable even when OC. If I needed another 775 board I would certainly get this one again! It's also easy to update the bios using the update program in the bios settings.
Cons: Like all boards it has some quirks. The only quirk on mine is that when you unplug the board and then plug it back in and then start it up it starts up then shuts down for about 2 to 3 sec. and then it boots as it should. It only happens if the board is unplugged though.
Other Thoughts: It's been a great board for me!

Great Board
Pros: Nice overclocking, easy to use.
Cons: Two of the SATA ports are dedicated to the Drive Expert. You can't connect the DVD ROM to one of these, and since I have 5 hard drives, I can only run four of them in my RAID array. The fifth has to be plugged in one of the drive expert ports, which can't be part of the array.
Other Thoughts: It is still a great board, and having one drive independent from my array is not all that bad.

trouble
Pros: looks nice
Cons: got my FIRST board, and it didnt want to run my RAM in dual channel mode. at first i thought that it would just be as simple as flashing the bios. still didnt work after the flash. so i went on some forums and found out that other people have been having the same problem with this board. some suggested changing your RAM timings, frequency, voltage blah blah blah. tried everything i could find on several forums with no success. so i got an RMA and exchanged it for another one, and had the same problem. this time i called asus, and all that they could tell me is that it wasnt the board...it was another peice of my hardware...lol. so i took my system to a local PC respair shop and had them test all of my hardware. turns out that everything was working perfectly fine...my RAM run in dual channel mode on the PCs that they tested it on, and there were no problems with my proc. so to make a long story short...dont get this board if you wish to avoid problems.
Other Thoughts: Newegg was GREAT. they paid my return shipping both times, and were extremely fast with the RMA process. its unfortunate that i recieved 2 defective boards, but thats not neweggs fault. its always a pleasure to deal with Newegg.

6 months later....
Pros: Super stable, easy to overclock. Takes four G Skill 2Gb sticks of memory without hickups like some other boards. Copper cooling is highly effective at dissipating heat; board runs cool. All components on board work well with Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64 without any driver issues. Onboard sound is decent. CPU socket is uncluttered and able to hold a Zalman 9500 cooler which lines up perfectly with the exhaust fan; CPU heat goes right out the back of the case.
Cons: A PCI slot is blocked when using larger video card(s)
It doesn't run Core i7.
Other Thoughts: I've been running an e8400 at 4.0ghz since first install and have never had a problem with this board. It is my belief that the copper cooling makes this board worth the little bit of extra $$$ over other boards where this board runs cool 24/7.

Good board to date
Pros: Bought this Mobo to replace a prior P35 Gigabyte board and am very pleased to date. I initially thought I had a DOA board when the board refused to post. The onboard On/Off and reset switches made it real easy to troubleshoot the board prior outside the case. After disconnecting and then replacing every component I found out the CPU needed to be reseated (odd). The board now runs great with Vista, 4Gb Corsair and a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550.
Cons: No major issues - Little slow to boot and recognize the drives.
Other Thoughts: This board came with the prior BIOS which is dated 3/30/2009 v2001. The enclosed CD had mostly older drivers...downloaded all of the drivers first from the Asus website and loaded the newer drivers if they were available.

Good Motherboard
Pros: My first DOA board, why is that a Pro, one word, Newegg! The best Pro about this board is that it does not have any Cons! It is not component or hardware picky (still do your homework), runs cool, overclocks like crazy, and is rock solid stable. I want to give ASUS (the company) a Pro; "thank you for having such limited tech support, because of you I have become very competent with regards to trouble shooting computer issues and tech savvy". This is a great first build motherboard!
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: OS; XP, Vista, Windows 7 (32 and 64bit). HD's; Western Digital and Seagate. RAM; Mushkin, Corsair, (1.8 to 2.2 volts). Optical Disks; Asus, Samsung, and Lite-on. Video Cards; ATI 4850, and 4870, Nvidia 8800 GT to GTX 295.

Poor Planing
Pros: Haven't been able to use this particular board as it was DOA. I have been using both the P5Qpro and the P5Q SE for about a year and I love them both despite the same problem mentioned in the cons. I can say that the Asus drivers for the sound and the power saver stuff is really awesome.
Cons: This board is not planned very well. first off, Asus sends a retail mothboard out with absolutely no mounting hardware. Second, there is only a single IDE port. I guess since everything has changed to SATA its acceptable. I just now have to get converters. My third problem with this is WHY, why is IDE socket on the side of board laying on its side? I had to take out 2 hard drives and the motherboard just to get the IDE ribbon plugged in and this is in an ATX full size tower. come on.
Other Thoughts: Its a cool board and not at a bad price if you get it working. It has great sound and onboard LAN plus a USB slot for everything along with the additional 2 that it comes with for expansion slot mounting. there is alot of potential here for this board to be good.

Worked fine, first time
Pros: Easy to understand instruction manual. Everything worked fine on my first try. Works fine with Windows 7 RC and Ubuntu Jaunty, both 64 bit. Included cables, Q connector, and Q shield are all nice features.
Cons: Rebate instead of just a lower price. Rebates are no fun.
Other Thoughts: Express Gate strikes me as useless. Maybe other people have a better idea of what to do with it.

No issues
Pros: fit into my case nicely. I like the apps ASUS gave with it. Overall its a really nice board.
Cons: the only con i have is that the PATA cable connector on the MB has sideways, si it was hard for the cable to reach up to my DVD drive. However since im getting a SATA drive its really not a huge issue

No issues
Pros: Plugged it in and it worked without any issues. I've used ASUS boards before and never had a problem so I went with them again.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I built a new computer from the ground up. Used this mobo, a ASUS EAH4850 TOP/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 Video Card, and a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz CPU. Loaded XP and was up and running without a hitch.

Pros: Well, when the board randomly posted, it worked great. My problem is that it only posted one time. Two eggs for the idea and layout. The cons explain the missing three.
Cons: I have owned two of these boards. The first board refused to post. It posted one time for about an hour and a half after i reseated the CPU. Then it just quit working. I checked my parts on other systems and they all worked. I narrowed it down to either the processor or the MB. Swapping the processors didn't work so it had to be the board. I just received my second board yesterday and it still refuses to post.
Other Thoughts: This is my first system build so this could all be due to lack of knowledge. I did, however, one of my family members with an IT degree look over it before I built it. We both agreed everything was compatible. Either I have really bad luck or this board has a 50% chance of giving bad results.

Pros: a good board to run a core 2 quad in
Cons: takes 30 seconds to recognize the sata drives on boot, don't know why, I have flashed the bois, didn't help, should be instantanous recognition of sata devices, but it isn't, don't know if my having a treabyte drive has anything to do with it
Other Thoughts: delayed booting. do to slow recognition of sata devices, otherwise runs really well

P5Q-E
Pros: I bought this mobo over 2 months a go, used quad core 6600. Installed windows xp with no problem and the PC is running fine. So I decided to get this mobo and build another system for my kid. I just bought it about over one monh ago, cannnot instal my windows at all , did everything possible, replaced all hardware still windows will not install. Stops installing after a few minutes. Im real fruastrated.
Cons: dont buy this 50% chance of it not working. Asus should have done a better quality control
Other Thoughts: first mobo worked no problem and the second one will not work, past 30 days from day I bought it. Guess I will have to eat it

Great board, Great Features
Pros: Comes with some great software to throttle up or down the CPU depending upon your needs. Is easy to update the firmware on this board with the utilities provided. Would recommend this board to anyone. I have had no issues with this board in any way.
Cons: As of yet haven't really found any?
Other Thoughts: Good setup and placement of the components of the board over all.

Strudy and reliable
Pros: PCB is very strong, and the sata ports are nicely placed. OCing is extremely easy! Sata performance is fast.
Cons: EPU software is kinda annoying, because there is no way to disable it from running on boot (in vista) withou uninstalling.
IDE port placement is terrible. I had to fold the cable akwardly in order to make it fit. Other wise my gpu got in the way...
Other Thoughts: Get it! great price for the features!

Great motherboard
Pros: I purchased this board because of the features and large heat sinks. The quality of the board is outstanding. The layout of the board was great and I didn't have any problems installing cables.
The board started up without a problem. I updated the BIOS after startup and I only had to make two changes to BIOS settings to complete the setup.
I really like the large heat sinks on the chipsets. The board is running cool and this will help improve the life of the unit.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Make sure your memory is compatible with the motherboard. Asus maintains a list of qualified parts and I also checked the web site of my memory vendor (Kingston) to make sure I selected the right memory.

Pros: Overall was a good motherboard. good specs and had lots of extra features. Just wish it would have lasted longer.
Cons: board died on me after 50 days. so cant get the exchange and I'm out $$$$. Don't recommend to anyone because they could get stuck in the same situation.
Other Thoughts: if the board lasted longer would have given it a much higher rating

Pros: P5Q-E manage to get my E6600 to 3.5Ghrz stable without restart. Which is pretty good compare to my old striker extreme only manage to 3.3Ghrz stable. I had this board 2 month still looking good. Right now running at 3Ghrz everyday.
Cons: Would love to have 1 PCI-E and few more PCI. There is only 1 PCI which is not enough...
Other Thoughts: Go for this board. Is the best cost and performance you can find!

DOA
Pros: None
Cons: Refused to post. Half the Fans would spin up but would not post. Replaced with old motherboard and pc posted fine. Will update if I get this motherboard working.
Other Thoughts: RMA'd for replacement. Thanks for the easy RMA and free return ship label newegg.

Love it!
Pros: Very stable. Easy overclock! I brought it to replace striker extreme. I can not OC pass 3.4 with original voltage setting. but after replace with this board, i can hit 3.6 no problem! under Orthos torture for 20 minutes no error at all! recommended for overclockers!
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: E6600 oc 3.5ghz. FSB 390x9 multiplyer. 25C idle, 52C fully loaded with air cooling.

Rock Solid, But update the BIOS first!!!
Pros: Rock Solid. Never tried overclocking since it's plenty fast enough without. No problems whatsoever, after updating to the latest bios.
Cons: Raid 10 is actually "0 + 1" rather than "1 + 0", but not a major disadvantage. It would be nice to have "1 + 0" though.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you update the bios on this before doing anything else! I had the hardest problems just getting windows installed, until I finally realized the bios was pretty old. After updating the bios, this MB was rock solid.

LOVE IT!!!!!
Pros: NO CRASHES..INTERNET IN TEN SECONDS OR LESS. WITH THE GSKILL MEMORY...A PERFECT MATCH. PERFORMS BETTER THAN EXPECTED. EVERYTHING SMOOTH AS SILK.
Cons: ZERO PROBLEMS. HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED ANYTHING WITH THIS BOARD.
Other Thoughts: BE SURE TO UPDATE BIOS AND EXPRESS AS DESCRIBED AND YOU WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. YOU CAN OVERCLOCK WAY ABOVE NORMAL WITH GREAT STABILITY.

Great board, bad sound drivers
Pros: Booted with zero problems and errors right out of the box.
Cons: The drivers for the onboard soundMAX chip need help in a big way. It seems it wont recognize that anything is plugged in until you fiddle with checkboxes in the driver properties. The autodetect feature is neat, but broken -- it kept wanting me to plug my headphones into a non-existant plug. I finally told it I had speakers in that slot and it was happy. I got two of these boards with my order and despite setting up both of them the same way, one did not work right. I called tech support but I could tell the guy wanted to get off the phone rather than actually try and help. turns out all I needed was to reboot (again) and the 2nd board worked fine.
Other Thoughts: Get a real soundcard instead of using the onboard junk.

Great board if you don't need Service
Pros: Great board if it works.
Cons: Short description on 3rd RMA. First one physical damage right out of the box with the PCI-E X16 retention mechanisms broken floating around in the ESD Bag. No damaged to shipping or retail box. As these are lowere profile, it had to be done at the factory. Second motherboard had a problem with crash to desktop during 3D intensive applications (games, utilities). As I have access to other parts, I narrowed it down to the motherboard. Purchased a seperate motherboard out of pocket ot confirm the results. Sent motherboard back for RMA with detail desciption, pictures, and etc. Over 7 days (Asus indicates 10 day turn around) I receive a replacement board (so I thought) as it was in a new white box, new labels, and paperwork. Removed working motherboard and replaced with rma motherboard. Problem returned. Looked at the SN I shipped and the one I received, the same. Look at paperwork and Customer Problem is blank, Action is blank, Problem=null, Repair
Other Thoughts: (continued from Cons) null, notce null, everything null except them shipping out the motherboard. After I call back they confirmed they shipped me the same board back with no change as they were unable to duplicate. After about 3 hours of phone calls today, request to speak with a manager multiple times with excuses they are busy and will leave a message, Forced to go to a second level support as I already received one rma last week (the same board I shipped out with no change), Second level confirming the same results that I originally listed, sent paperwork for Advanced RMA which entails a 10 handling fee/Credit card numbers/shipping to and from, and to end up being informed that I will get a refurbed board after not being able to use this board bought new since January is a little to much for a consumer to bare. Needless to say I have been building computer for 15+ years and will need to mark Asus off the list. Just hope you don't get a defective unit.

Wonderful board
Pros: I've been pushing this board through it's paces for over a week and it has been amazing. Standing up to everything I've thrown at it.
Cons: Doesn't pick my ram's default settings correctly. But I guess that's partially the ram's manufacturer's problem. Works best with PC 8500 Ram. For reference: 8GB Crucial Balistix PC 6400 are what I'm using.
Other Thoughts: Be sure to update the BIOS after you've put it together! There are problems with the compatibility of some RAM in the older BIOS files, so definitely update it. Also, the esata works off the marvel IDE chip on the board, so if you're going to use esata, do not disable the chip in bios.
My build: Asus P5Q-E (Ket's modded bios 1901), C2Q Q6600 @ 2.4GHz, Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro, 8GB (4x2GB) Crucial Balistix PC 6400, XFX Radeon HD 4870 1GB, Corsair 520HX PSU.

Nice board
Pros: Great board all around. Overclocking is a snap.
Cons: Make sure you update the bios immediately. Especially if you have a Yorkfield proc. I spent a week trying to diagnose sporadic freezes by switching out all my hardware. I suppose a bios update should have been near the top of my list anyway. Works great now!
Other Thoughts: Q9300@3GHz 8GB G-Skill 1066 2x HD3870 6 SATA HD's in RAID

Great mobo
Pros: Tons of features, Dual Gigabit, 6 SATA, Firewire, excellent sound. I just ran through 2 DOA Gigabyte mobo's, decided to take the hit on a refund and go with this one. This board is fantastic. I had no issues wit a standard installation of 8 Gig of GSkill memory, a Quad 9650, and ATI 4870. The memory compatibility list is HUGE!!!!! Gigabytes is very small. Go with Asus.
Cons: I can only think of one. My mobo arrived with a BIOS so old, it wasn't even available on the Asus website. No biggie, I updated it in increments just to be safe. This one is rock solid.
Other Thoughts: There are a ton of Gigabyte mobos out there, save yourself some aggravation and purchase the Asus instead.

BANGING THE BUCK
Pros: This board was very easy to install as an upgrade from an MSI x975 board I purchased from New Egg a few years ago. I flashed the bios on the first boot to the newest version on the Asus website before booting to Vista Ultimate, and it had no issues. The board itself is pretty well laid out and I planned ahead so that I could use older parts until upgraded parts are available to me. I used a core 2 E6400 Intel processor. This board dropped the temp 10C from the old board running around 28-32C now. I also used an x1600 Pro Radeon in the 1 pci-e X16 slot that this board has, and then upgraded to a Visiontek 4850 in one of the 2 pci-x 2.0 slots. Both slots on this motherboard worked as they were designed to with no issues. I purchased 2 sticks of DDR2 1066 OCZ Platinum and set the bios to 2.1V and the memory in Duel channel EPP mode is running at 533 2:1 latency of 5-5-5-5-15 2T.
Cons: The one drawback is that 1 sata port is blocked by the 4850 extended card.
Other Thoughts: This is the perfect motherboard if you want to upgrade in bits and pieces without doing it all at once.
I planned ahead and I purchased this board as an open box and saved more money. The retail version has no bells and whistles to speak of than this does. All drivers and software is available from Asus on line that you will need. So I made my own UPDATED driver disk.

Great Board
Pros: Great board with the heat syncs on north and south bridge. All of the components are high quality. Plenty of expansion slots for what ever you need. The angled sata ports help if you are putting in a large video card.
Cons: Installing the Tuniq tower on this board was a bit of a challenge but now that it is on it runs great.
Other Thoughts: The express gate is a nice touch along with the q connector. Both of these little things add up to a great experience with this board. I would recommend it to anyone who is using it for a general use/gaming rig.

Excellent Board
Pros: Excellent Board comes with everything needed for installation except the Crossfire Bridge. Q connector is great. Support up to 16GB of ram. Having 8 Stat connectors was also a big selling point to me since im already using 5 of them
Cons: I feel the crossfire bridge should be included with these boards since they take a special lenght cable to use crossfire. Directions are a bit vague for setting up expressgate. Some of the software on the installation cd doesnt work with Vista 64
Other Thoughts: For the price extreemely pleased with this board, and Newegg was great as usual. Shipping only took 1 business day
Running the following setup Intel Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz w Zalman 9300 Cooler Asus P5Q-E MB 8GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800Mhz 2 Sapphire Radeon 4830 512MB Crossfire 2 WD 160GB Sata2 HD in Raid Zero 1 640GB WD 640GB Green Sata 2 (Data Volume) OCZ Game Extreme 750W PSU 2 TB External ESata Hard Drive 8GB Sony Flash Drive Just for Ready Boost Aspire X Cruiser Case Black
System Rating is 5.9 in Vista. Memory Usage almost never crosses 30%. Once my video coolers come this thing is ready for some serious overclocking

Bad replacement
Pros: Cant give a pro if it doesnt work.
Cons: Just recieved my replacement P5Q-E today and installed it.....it gave me a BIOS failure on Boot up. This was the same issue as the last one, but at least the last one lasted for two and a half days before the BIOS went dead, this one didnt even last at all.

Good Board
Pros: The board is great and supports all my expansions and video cards.
Cons: Only thing is that the mounting holes didn't have the protective grounding so when i used metal screws, the board shorted. I switched to nylon screws and it works fine.

Excellent board
Pros: Rock solid stable and reliable. Cooling is silent and effective. Full feature set (ICH10R raid works nicely). The "Q-connector" tech alone is worth a bunch to me. Avoiding the nightmare of trying to attach all those stupid little connectors onto the board is a stroke of genius.
Cons: Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: Running an E8500 (stock), 8GB ram, ATI 4870, Vista x64-SP1, in an Antec Solo case, Corsair 550W PSU. The box is super-fast and super-quiet. I am very happy.

Exellent Board
Pros: Extreemly Stable Board once you figure out that a lot of the ram out there is horrible.
ICHR10 I've found to be exellent and stable, currently running 2x 500GB raid0 1x 1TB non-raid.
Cons: Not a con on the board, but it took going through about 3 different ram manufactures before i found a brand of DDR2 1066 ram that was stable
Other Thoughts: This board ended up changing my idea of what good ram was. I started out with corsair Dominator because it's always done well in the past, ended up failing after about a month. switched to Crutial Ballistix, which then failed after about the same time period. Then i switched to OCZ Reaper which has been running stable for the last 6 months.
It seems that a lot of the DDR2 1066 ram out there has these problems, and the magic chip to look for is Micon D9 based ram. Be carefull with the voltage that it is rated for as well, not many use the "stock" DDR2 rating (1.8 IIRC) i'm running my OCZ at the manufacture recommended 2.0V

Awsome board
Pros: This board is awesome easy to install with the vary detailed manual. I hooked all up and it worked just fine I can over clock vary well with this board. I have the Intel Q9450 2.6GHz oc to 3.4 stable the bios is easy to understand and work with my two 4870x2's work great with this board. it's just a great board for first time builders.
Cons: well i have water cooling for my CPU so there is no fan blowing over it. The northbridge does not get much air because of this Evan though i have great air flow in my thermaltake armor lcs case. Because of this i had to mount a fan blowing on my northbridge not that it got vary hot it only got up to around 35 degrees celcius that is the only con i can think of
Other Thoughts: vary well built stable board

Best MOBO
Pros: amazing Mobo. It runs stable with my Intel Q9400 and 9800 Graphic. lots of space, very useful Manual, and lots of ports for connecting. This is my first build, but it is so easy that i thought i have built whole lot of system. I would prefer to use this again.
Cons: Why dont it have 2 port for keyboard and mouse? that would be better. but i dont need it any way. It acts up a few time, but after that. very great speed.
Other Thoughts: i love this

Can't go wrong with this board
Pros: Worked right out of the box. Easy to configure and install. BIOS supports nice overclocking (but did not try it). Lots of extras that worked with the OS without a hitch.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Haven't really OC'd this board much. The build didn't call for it.

major pain in the brain
Pros: -lots of options for overclocking -stable -easy install -Express gate is great
Cons: -RMA'd board after 2 weeks when it started making a high pitch whining noise. -I got the replacement and I have the same problem with this board. -I have hardly overclocked this board and have never changed the voltage settings from auto as I'm afraid the noise will get worse. -very disappointed the high pitch noise is unbearable and I use the computer for school work so it's hard to concentrate when the computer is on. I'm a comp-sci student so it's on all the time.
Other Thoughts: I've heard the noise problem has to do with capacitors.

Great mobo
Pros: Great price for features. eSATA and Firewire. Good sound chip (didn't bother installing SB Audigy 2 Platinum card). 1600 FSB and DDR2-1200, 6 SATA cables. Lots of BIOS OC settings. OC my Q6600 to 3.0 at 1.15625v. Low vdrop (.02) and no vdroop (per CPUz). Entire system runs cooler compared to previous 730i mobo.
Cons: 1 SATA port is blocked by GTX260 video card. A little tight getting Asus Triton 70 cooler installed.
Other Thoughts: Update the BIOS right away. If you leave the CPU volts on Auto when OC'ing Q6600 the board will bump it up to 1.3v which ran too hot for my Asus Triton 70 cooler.

Quite Pleased
Pros: - Price/features ratio - Good looks - Good overclocking options - Good slot layout - Onboard Power & Reset switches
Cons: Minor: - No SATA-AHCI support for Express Gate feature - Somewhat loose Q-Connector - Unintuitive BIOS Setup information
Other Thoughts: Took exactly one week from time of order to receiving the mobo which isn't too bad for free shipping. I replaced a P5K which was kind of limited in overclocking options as well as being weak in Crossfire mode (x4). I also wanted to preserve my Q6600 so stuck with the LGA775 socket. For my needs the P5Q-E is a decent upgrade until the i7 CPUs/mobos come down in price.

Rock Solid
Pros: 6 SATA Ports, takes oc well, failsafe bios, bios options, on board power/reset buttons
Cons: Flimsy SB heatsink and placement. Upgraded to something mildly bigger (more copper) and it almost hits the Video card (single slot), if it were 4mm lower would solve it. I don't think the ppl who design these ever actually built a computer themselves. This is my 4th ASUS build they all have some annoying flaw like this.
Other Thoughts: Does everything I've asked of it. Q6600 2.4 at 3.1 for 7 months now without a hiccup, 4gb RAM at 1114 and 1.95v, 8800gt and 7 hard drives. Watch the heat after 2-3 hours gaming it keeps my room warm in the winter.

Simply dead
Pros: Looks nice?
Cons: The board refused to boot. Nothing happened, even fans wouldnt spin. All signs pointed to bad motherboard.

Asus P5Q-E
Pros: Consider this board to be the best bargain Asus has, the P45 chipset with the ICH 10R makes for a rock solid platform for any application. I combined it with a Q9650 quad, Corsair DDR2-800 ram, and BFG GTX-285 for a great gaming rig
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Had to re-flash the Bios, but I've become accustomed to doing this on all systems I build. Not the first motherboard I've setup that had a corrupted bios from the factory and not just Asus

Not Satisfy.... DOA
Pros: The presentation is excellent, it have plenty of features.
Cons: The Mainboard won't boot and is new!!!! Read reviews first, it seem that is quite common... This was my first ASUS board and so far I'm very upset... I just place an RMA for the same item, I will write back when the new item is received. My config is: Intel Q6600 OCZ PC2 6400 SLI Ready 8GB Evga GTX 9800 OC Zalman Water Cooled System
Other Thoughts: Good price and option if it works....
Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer, We are sorry for this inconvenience. Please let us know if we can assist in the RMA process or provide further technical support by contacting our Technical Support Department at http://vip.asus.com/eservice/techserv.aspx Best Regards, ASUS Support Team

Dissapointed with ASUS
Pros: unfortunately none
Cons: ASUS support - product quality control. I bought this motherboard new from newegg right after it came out in June of 08'. I was building a new build. Finally got the processor in September and RAM. Did a basic assembly - the system wouldnt P.O.S.T. Pulled my hair out for a couple weeks trying different things. Nothing. Finally started buying MORE parts (powersupply - more RAM) to swap in suspecting I had something incompatible. STILL WOULDNT POST. Broke down and took it to a PC building shop. They tried things (swapping parts) and suggested the board was Dead on arrival. R.M.A'd board with ASUS relatively easily. R.M.A. apparently listed an incorrect R.M.A. location (according to technical support when I followed up trying to find out what was discovered wrong with board). Technical support said they couldnt find the motherboard even though I had confirmation it was recieved by ASUS. Technical support finally found my board an hour later and reported it was worki
Other Thoughts: (continued) somehow they found and fully tested my board in an hours time. I recieved an email it was fine and going to be resent to me. When I asked what was found wrong - NO REPLY. I called the next day asking what could be reported as wrong: customer support didnt know. Dont they keep logs of what was tested? I asked what is standard procedure for testing the boards - they didnt know. I re-emailed the technician I had been emailing (that reported my board couldnt be found and then reported he found and tested it an hour later). He never emailed back. so I recieved the board few days later: it's still dead. I have new processor, new ram (two different approved types) and new powersupply - it wont post to this day. I'll never buy or recommend ASUS again after this experience. there should be better information for the customer. I spent alot of time and money putting this system together and they have not offered any information to confirm a dead board or

Amazing
Pros: Perfect board. I wanted to do a budget gaming build for me and my neice. We both got the same board same processor and same ram. this board over clocks over 1800FSB on both our boards running our C2D @ 4GHz on AIR! and there is still room for more! Everything runs super cool. Amazing product. Downloaded latest bios and running Vista 64bit with 0 issues. Amazing board.. it does it all.
Cons: none

Great Board
Pros: Lots of connections, 2 LAN ports, Q-type connectors, lots of USB connectors, 2 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots and a third PCI Express x16 just in case you need 3 video cards. This is my 10th ASUS board build and I got this board after having 2 of the P5Q-Pro boards fail. I had no issues with this board, it POSTed on the first try. I will not be OCing just yet but this board mkes it look really easy.
Cons: I did not get it here at Newegg. The E-SATA ports are almost imposible to plug into due to the orientation. I am not using them but I would hate to have to hook up a cable to those 2 ports.
Other Thoughts: While trouble shooting my second bad P5Q-pro board I picked up one of these at my local computer store for about thirty bucks more than what Newegg charges. Did not want to tear down the whole system for a third time and wait 2 weeks for a replacment New System: ASUS P5Q-E ASUS EAH4830 512MB Video card 4 Gigs Corsair Dominator RAM Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz Samsung SH-S223F 22x DVD burner CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX 520W

Problem with onboard NIC in Vista
Pros: This is about my tenth ASUS board, I dont get all the issues ppl have with new board installs. I believe the majority are shipping or handling damage issues and not the fault of the Manufacturer. This bopard installs flawlessly and everything works as advertised. I am not a gamer and not too interested in over clocking as this is my family machine.
Cons: Only issue I have is the Marvell NICs in Vista 32. I have tried everythiung I know, drivers from Marvell, from ASUS. Con works, but drops intermittently for no reason. Cables all test good to new Linksys router and replacement 3com PCI nic works perfectly. It is a shame to waste a PCI slot in a new board when there is not one, but TWO gig Nics on board that dont work.
Other Thoughts: I have read alot of ppl with same complaint concerning the NICS on this board in Vista 32. I would have thought that either Marvell or Asus would have addressed this by now.

Top Notch Customer Service
Pros: This was my sixth Asus Board that I have purchased. Had a problem and followed their return policy to the "T". Some of the best customer service I have enjoyed. Thank you
Cons: None- just follow instructions if you have a problem.
Other Thoughts: I will continue buying Asus.

Pros: Worked great!
Cons: It died 6 months after I installed it!

wow
Pros: Running an E8400 at 3.6 stable.... could go higher but this setup is fast enough. Problem free 8Gb ram installation, no manual setting required. Bios setup a snap. Copper coolers help keep this board 20* c cooler than my P5B with an E6400.
Cons: With an EVGA 9800 GT, BOTH PCI slots are useless. I have no use for them, and knew this before purchasing so I will not take away an egg. Worth mentioning though.
Other Thoughts: Very happy with my purchase. 4 Asus boards now: CUSL2, P4P800-VM, P5B, and now P5Q-E all running great after all the others brands of boards have died.

Avoid!
Pros: Good MoBo until it died.
Cons: Mobo purchased in November, and not put into use until Christmas. Then dead 5 weeks later. Prior to this I has some brand loyalty toward ASUS, as I type on my ASUS laptop. Spent 20 minutes waiting for a tech to answer the phone (not too bad). I explained the troubleshooting I had done, and they immediately transferred me off for an RMA. Unfortunatley I will have to pay for the shipping of this 2 month old dead MoBo.
Other Thoughts: Asus makes a decent product, but customer support is very week.

Great and Solid Motherboard, but be careful!
Pros: I've always loved Asus motherboards. They've always been solid performers and easy to work with. The "certified" memory is more flexible than say Intel motherboards as far as stability. Installation was quick and easy with the supplied pin adapter. It comes with a case adapter (power button, LEDs, etc), on board firewire, and on board USB. My Win Vista Ultimate 64-bit machine picked up all the new hardware with little difficulty.
Cons: As stated in the Pro section, the mobo comes with pin adapters for the case, firewire, and USB, but none for front panel sound. Now, this isn't Asus' fault, but an industry standardization issue. Though, if you wire the front panel audio pins incorrectly, your system will not boot unless you set the system to default config (via a jumper).
On a downside, USB keyboards don't always allow you to get into the BIOS. There may need to be a slight adjustment in the bios to allow the system enough time to initialize the USB ports in order for the keyboard to work from boot.
Other Thoughts: If you decide to be lazy and not unplug the front panel audio wires from the motherboard, just disable front panel via BIOS.

Great performer
Pros: This motherboard out performs my Asus Striker motherboard configured with similar components, but two years older. I was able to create the Intel RAID0 array from bios and directly build Vista in less than 20 minutes. I found the IDE, floppy and their XPERT Drive interfaces unnecessary and booted off a SATA DVD drive.
Cons: The board comes with a serial port on the motherboard, but the kit does not come with a ribbon cable and case I/O connector to complete the interface.
Other Thoughts: Probably one of the best bang for the buck until the i7 motherboards and DDR3 come down in prices.

Cons: The IDE connector is sideways which made it difficult to work with. After the initial setup this wasn't an issue since everything was moved to SATA.

One DOA, One Replacement
Pros: Excellent board with excellent BIOS. E-SATA is awesome. Excellent for a mid-range system.. The ware gives you pretty good control over the motherboard, which I like..
Cons: Initially, I'd been sent a DOA board, which is a huge pain.. set everything up and manage the cables only to find that the board simply won't POST, etc. I had a chat with an Asus tech before RMA with newegg, who decided that there was no doubt the board was DOA, too.. Return was quick and I got a new board, which booted properly.
My Asus ATI EAH4870 1GB DK blocks one of the SATA ports, which is a bummer, but I'd suppose most any card like it would do the same.. It's not a big deal, but a con nevertheless. Also, the motherboard's heatsink WILL interfere with the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro's heatsink.. You simply cannot install the HSF normally.. either switch the direction of the fan, which would be stupid, or use another HSF/mobo combination.
Other Thoughts: I'd use an X38/48 if I had plans to crossfire, or a new X58 board with an i7.. Either way, for mid-range, this is a great board. Although I was unlucky with one DOA board, the replacement is working perfectly - no issues whatever (thus far).
Using 750W PSU, 4GB DDR2, E8500, ATI 4870 1GB, multiple HDDs, Antec 300.

P5Q Tanacity
Pros: Supports 7.1 surround sound that works decently well. HUGE ammount of storage capacity and supports all the modern processors and even some of the older ones. Has a mass expansion for the slots you need for GFX, Audio, and whatever else you could need for your computer. Easy selection with Gate software installed to go straighto OS, Bios, or which ever else is on the load screen.
Cons: The Audio is excellent especially in Vista with there specially designed software for Vista but 1 problem was when I got my 5.1 surround sound headphones I found out the Center and Sub was almost dead. This is the only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars. Other then that everything works perfectly
Other Thoughts: On board Audio is always iffy at best but I will admit other than the Center/Sub being mostly dead this board works perfect so if surround sound is not your thing, or you will only be using it for your HD TV and receiver than get this board. If you are a hardcore gamer with the jack plugs and want to go cheap without a card it may have an issue. Maybe it was just mine though :). Also thank you Newegg for the quick delivery as usual and I thank Asus for excellent service with there boards as usual.

Beware
Pros: None
Cons: Dead on arrival. returned to New egg, confirmed and replacement sent. Replacement was also DOA But policy states now more returns(outside the 30 day window) Stay away from this Mobo-and be cautious with New egg

a nice upgrade
Pros: Every cpu and ram setting you can think of. Just about every port you could use. Was able to overclock my pentium dc 2.4ghz to 3ghz. I upgraded from the 945g chipset and can tell a performance difference.
Cons: the heatsinks around where the cpu goes were in the way of my cpu heatsink. the epu thing doesn't work if it's overclocked. the ram i have doesn't operate in dual channel mode (it worked fine with the 945).
Other Thoughts: Wonderful board for the core2 cpus and crossfire. could have 8gB of ram for $100. a great core2 generation board.

Pros: I am very happy with my motherboard purchase. The board arrived with everything I needed to install. I updated the BIOS and downloaded the latest drivers from the Asus website with no problems. I manually adjusted the RAM speed through the bios to 5-5-5-15 and it works without a problem. I used the following for the computer build: Case: Antec Sonata III Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 O/S: Vista Home Professional 64 Bit Ram: OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Hard Drive: WD Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 Video Card: ASUS EAH3450/DI/256M Radeon HD 3450 256MB DVD Drives: 1 Asus & 1 Sony

Better experience when they work
Pros: Lots of SATA ports, 2 LAN, nice BIOS (if I only got to see it)
Cons: Power and reset lights are lit on the board, but no beep, no video, no BIOS, nothing but the sounds of fans with an Intel Q6600 processor.
Other Thoughts: I'm giving two eggs because I've used this board in other installs with a different processor and had better luck. This time, not so much.

Bad Newz
Pros: looks good...Easy to get to connections. lotsa SATA ports and plenty of USB on MoBo.
Cons: Worked like a champ, all drivers for wireless and printers went in BEAUTIFULLY, but ASUS utilities killed it. Refused to boot after using ASUS disk. Called Tech Support, talked thriogh resetting CMOS, That got it back up...until next reboot, back to CMOS. Second call to ASUS was a curt, reinstall OS. So I spent 4 hours last night reformatting drives and reinstalling XP, Again, worked great with netgear, HP, zonealarm and other drivers, ESUS seemed to work and it rebooted, and then I reloaded audio drivers and back to above. reformatted drives and now it won't even let me install windows. Out of the computer, headed for the trash and ordered a new P5Q-E today. Something weird about this board and the drivers with the mobo.
Other Thoughts: Never had any problem like this with any other build previously ( 6 in all) and 2 with ASUS, including the server at my business ( also a P5Q) . I don't think it'a a company issue, but maybe just this board or corrupted utilities. Almost like a virus...

excellent motherboard
Pros: easy to work with
Cons: one sata port blocked by the video card
Other Thoughts: replace the motherboard and set up the whole system without any trouble. Do a quick OC to see how this board can do, wow, my Q 9300 can run at 3.5 GHZ with all auto setting and stable. I know I can push it higher with some fine tuning. Very happy with the board . Another fine product from Asus. Highly recommended.

Pros: So far I love this motherboard. I haven't had a new build in a while and I am very kindly reminded why I always turn to ASUS over other manufacturers.
Great on board features, smart layout, and worked right out of the box no problems.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Until Core i7 becomes standard this board is all you need. Haven't yet tested it with SLI yet but looking forward to doing so later this year.

Pros: The manual kept me from making mistakes, I just had to set the clock, boot to dvd,,and set the ram. Then start installing windows.. it runs just fine, i picked this MB because the reviews did not have flashing the bios as the first thing one has to do after boot up. I build a new machine after three or four years and its always new tech.. which i can oooo and ahhh over.. the sata connections are sweet.. even with one holding up the vid card.. I hate the push and lock for the cpu, fan and cooler,, but i did use the bubble wrap and cardboard backing when i set the cpu.. and it went fairly easy. This is my third asus build,, so that's going back to 2001,, they all have worked until new tech had me updating. This is the easiest build yet...
Cons: Sleep worked well until i upgraded drivers,,,don't know which one is leaning on the sleep mode,,,yet. no big deal,, just have to hit the enter key, instead of touching any imput device.
Other Thoughts: I built a second computer using the recipe that i used for the first one, everything is new also,,, so that's like 25 new items for two boxes that have worked first time... Amen for the reviews in newegg... that i read for a week before i bought anything. I now have a network that me and my wife can do what we like that would of cost more then we could afford with factory made computers.

Good motherboard, great overclocking
Pros: I overclocked an E8400 with this motherboard to 3.6 GHz on stock air. Using 4 GB G. Skill DDR2 @ 1066 MHz. Haven't had any problems and there's plenty of overclocking options to fiddle with and fine tune. Seems to run plenty cool and no fans on the motherboard make for a quiet system.
Cons: No SLI but I knew that jumping in. Installed WinZip trial version off the mobo utilities. Pffft...

Rock solid
Pros: Its been super stable, not one hang up. Like the heat sink type and layout. Running raid 1 just fine. Installed Xp home for my Wife's new machine. Bios recognized new Wolfdale E7300 processor.
Cons: Package does not come with a card slot com port adapter. MoBoad has a com port socket though, so I can get it going when I pick up an adapter. I need this to interface with a UPS. Did not recognize my Gskill memory as 1066, had to set manually. Nothing usual about that though.
Other Thoughts: I have been buying Asus boards for many years. First thing to do is disable all the automatic overclocking features. Adjust them manually if you like. Get the latest drivers off the slow Asus web site, have your raid driver floppy ready for windows install.

Pros: It's made by Asus, has excellent specs, and look's awesome. Also, the heatsinks are very sturdy and look to perform very well. I also liked the checkered design on the blue part of the heatsinks (I didn't notice this in the pics). Great board layout (for the most part) and i love the 3 usb headers (more than on most boards).
I LOVE the onboard power/reset buttons, this is one of my favorite features as it makes it so easy to test a system out before you have a case, or in the event that you don't want to use a case at all. a true "open" computing example!
Cons: I have to agree with everyone on this: why put a SATA connector in a position where any gamer/enthusiast video card would block its usage. seems like it was the last item they put and were like "cr@p, we ran out of space, lets stick it... there!"
and start following the trend set by the new Asus P6T6 WS: no more IDE, no more Floppy! They sell usb floppy drives relatively cheap nowadays, and the only time people really need to use it is for xp installs and really overdue data transfers from old PCs.
Other Thoughts: aside from the sata and legacy ports, this is an amazing board in all respects. I can't comment on overclocking as my RAM is still being shipped and i have no spares at home, but all else aside, this is an amazing board, and really nice to show off if you have a side panel window ;)

Pros: Nice cost effective board. Runs cool and the EPU 6 works great. Supports quad core processors and all components fit nicely in an HTPC setup. Newegg shipped/arrived quickly
Cons: Update the bios or this crash regularly with the Intel yorkfield q9300 2.5gHz quad core processor. Soundmax is junk and I went through a lot of pain to get the optical out to output 5/7:1 to my pioneer receiver. It was all hardware/software issues and not the receiver...took awhile to learn this though.
Other Thoughts: Update the bios immediately to avoid the hassle that I went through. The computer would reset itself regularly until I did this.

Must Bend Cooling Fans
Pros: Has enough SATA ports to fit everything. Would fit the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Instruction manuals online provide good walkthrus for installing everything.
Cons: Had to bend some of the cooling fins near the LGA 775 to get the Freezer 7 to fit.
Other Thoughts: Booted on first attempt with old BIOS, but that may just be luck of the other parts in the system.

Eggcelent Board
Pros: Great layout, heatsinks, fan connections, connectors. Cool stack 2 works well. (the coolest running board I have ever used). Very stable. Great on-board audio. Great software. Good price(could always be lower!) This board can do way more than I will ever need it to. Future proof till i7 becomes the standard (2-3 years).
Cons: Silly EPU aluminum sticker stuck on southbridge heatsink blocks chips airflow. Hold heatsink down and pry off gently to improve airflow (no biggie).
Other Thoughts: Asus makes the best boards and has good tec support (nice knoledgeable people on the other end). The first board I ordered had a bad ram slot. rma'ed it. Newegg support rocks as usual. Second board runs perfect. Stuff happens. PS: Save yourself problems. No matter what board you buy, be careful when installing things onto the board that you don't bend the board. It has many layers with very small traces that can break causing intermittant problems.

I like it but I had problems
Pros: I like this motherboard over all. It is my first project of this kind but it was assembled professionally.
Cons: The start up was random. It would start and up without problems and work for a week and then make one false attempt and restart without booting up, from there it would never boot up again, it happened three times in 20 days. I'm getting a replacement. Four eggs to see what happens with the next one.

Solid MB
Pros: A very solid P45 motherboard, excellent cooling capability and built in software. If your looking for a good solid motherboard on which to do some overclocking I would recommend this board. Great overclocking menus (especially saving your overclocking settings, in case of failure), allowed me to push the FSB on an E5200 from 200 to 250 by just changing the FSB to manual and entering it, leaving everything else on auto, beyond that it required the normal level of tweaking. I pushed the e5200 on this board to FSB 333 but backed it down to 266 for everyday use.
Cons: Dont use the bundled AI Booster for overclocking, I gave it a spin just for kicks. Very simplistic and wont allow you to do much, also pretty ineffective for any overclocking beyond what the auto functions in the bios would allow. A good try by ASUS, in the future I hope they continue to build on the idea.
