DOA
Pros: can't claim any.
Cons: Arrived DOA.
Other Thoughts: Looked to be a great mobo but it arrived DOA so I will never know. Really hate that it costs money to RMA stuff.

Good Board
Pros: Good board all around. Not exactly for the "Hardcore Gamer" but for a family PC...works great. Foxconn quality is good..
Cons: Foxconn support for this board and Win 7 64bit is poor. Not stable AT ALL with 1066. (WIN 7 BSOD) User manual included is very vague, has typo's & errors, and is B/W.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking at this board for use w/ Windows 7 64 bit, you will have to go to Foxconn's slow-@ss site and dowload ALL of the drivers (and manual) from there. All of the drivers and utilities on the disc included are USELESS!! I tried this board with 8GB of G.Skill DDR2 1066, Q9650 Processor, BIOS all at OE clocks, (I did ramp the DIMM voltage to the G.Skill spec'd 2.1V) and Windows 7 Ultimate 64. It was a locking up, BSOD havin' nightmare... Rolled back to the spec'd DDR2 800 and it is better, but still is not that stable. I think Foxconn dropped the 64bit ball on this one. Works EXCELLENT under the 32bit platform...notta so good w/ 64bit though..not sure of the reason...but I'm thinking it's driver related.

Nice motherboard.
Pros: Great price. Stable performance with Win7-64, 8GB G.Skilll DDR2-800, and e6300 (2.8GHz).
Cons: BIOS fan control is almost useless for the NB and SYS fan headers - fine for CPU header - didn't try foxone software.
Other Thoughts: When I received my board (about a month ago), foxconnsupport.corn had a newer BIOS than foxconnchannel.corn. Why did Fox include an IDE cable? Haven't tried to overclock, can't comment there.

Not a bad deal at all!
Pros: Great price, easy to set up and use. This was just what I needed and it has performed perfectly.
Cons: none yet. DDR2 @ 800...but I knew that when I bought it
Other Thoughts: overclocks super easy. off the table - out the door - and down the street if I didn't stop it.

Works with ESXi 4.0 if you add Intel Nics
Pros: Price Good features Booted right up
Cons: Not so much a con as a desire wish it had an Intel nic on board so that the need for a second nic to run ESX would be elimnated.
Other Thoughts: Board just works, and after dealing with a few boards that did not this is refreshing. Since I was using just ESXi, I could not get the HDMI port to work. If it meets your needs get it.

Good for the money
Pros: Acceps a lot of memory, BIOS was really easy to update, FOX1 software is nice...
Cons: No issues yet...
Other Thoughts: Running with: Intel core 2 quad Q9550 and 4 gigs of OCZ platinum RAM.. This computer is a monster....

Pros: Pretty solid board, decent features for the price
Cons: First board had a broken network card, that would randomly disable the network adapter. Both boards have problems waking from sleep, it will hang, and crash to a bluescreen. The error states that it is a driver power state failure. All drivers and BIOS have been updated from Foxconn's website.
Other Thoughts: I sent Foxconn an email requesting support for my problem with sleep mode, and they have not replied after two weeks.

Review updated
Pros: good price, stable, can add lot of memory, HDMI port
Cons: - Tryed blue ray with HDMI, Sony TV, Lite ON DVD Blue Ray, PVDVD9, Quad intel CPU, Windows 7 32/64 bits, Windows vista, xp... nada does not play. If you get this board for blue ray, forget it. - Vmware ESX wont install with the onboard network card you need to buy an external intel network card. - HDMI sound is working with netflix streaming but has some glitches every 20 minutes for 2 seconds, probably a driver or bios issue... nothing bad doh.
Other Thoughts: the card is great, very stable, limit the power with the integrated network card and graphic card. removed one star for the blue ray not working. if you add 8GB or more memory do not forget to go in the BIOS and enable option to remap memory or you won't see your additional memory :)

No luck with 8GB or NIC or vmware install.
Pros: Nice price, seemed to have the best ratings overall.
Cons: Keep in mind that I'm rating this based on MY particular needs. I need 8GB of RAM and I'm not using XP or Vista, I'm using VMWare. Wouldn't work with 8GB of brand new memory sticks (4 sticks of AllComponents 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 ). Only would boot with 4GB. Wouldn't work with the OS I was wanting to use (VMWARE).
Other Thoughts: On my last motherboard (MSI) I didn't have to install drivers of any sort. I inserted the vmware disk and it loaded it's os and EVERYTHING worked fine. The Foxconn NIC didn't function after I loaded vmware, but I read in another post that the NIC is finicky and needs drivers from intel. I didn't bother to check what bios version I had--I really want it to work out of the box so I'm returning it.

great board
Pros: Small Size / On Board HD 6 Channel Sound / Decent Amount of Expansion Slots / Runs Well and Cool Even in Game
Cons: only one PCI X16 Express slot, but no biggie if you have a good graphics card
Other Thoughts: had it for about 6 months now and have had no trouble at all. Runs well and gets the job done. Great Board for the price.

Good motherboard
Pros: Everything worked well. No problems. Gives you the ability to set 4 sata as ahci and 2 as enhanced, connecting the dvd drive enhanced resolves the problem with some dvd burner software not recognizing the dvd drive.
Cons: Learned a lesson on this one, wasted two hours because the manual was not clear, after talking with tech support, everything worked. Downloading the pdf version of the manual (in color) would have resoved my issues in understanding the layout of the board pins for the power switch, the manual is in black and white and confusing.
Other Thoughts: Would recomend.

Very good mainboard
Pros: The installation was very smooth. 16GB ram max, lots of connectors and slots as well as a serial port, you just need to get an external connector...
Cons: After few days of testing and re installation with hyper V 64 bits standalone and 2008 server 64 bits I had always some random weird issues with the network being flooded and shutting down the others machine connection. The fault is the integrated realtek network card that act without real reason crazy. if you google it you will find that others people have the same issue with realtek on other motherboard also. Nobody to blame outside realtek selling none fully tested chips with bugs. The solution is to get a good intel pro 1000 network card for $30 and you save yourself a lot of time and trouble...
Other Thoughts: Foxconn customer service is very reactive and the brand provide a very good image trough the website also. Too bad realtek produce buggy stuff.

Good motherboard
Pros: This motherboard does what it is expected to do at a VERY attractive price. 4 memory slots !
Cons: No SPDIF-OUT cable to connect on the motherboard ! Come on, a simple cable wouldn't be expensive to include... the connector IS there after all.
The FOXCONN live update software on their site is corrupted. I had to install the one that came with the CD and perform an auto update to be able to get it.
Other Thoughts: This motherbopard worked flawlessly. I had to upgrade the bios as it didn't ship with latest.

initial thoughts
Pros: - cost - features - size
Cons: nothing too serious, but I encountered a couple of issues:
1. my MB arrived with out of date BIOS firmware (...P05), which locks up Vista64 installer almost immediately, and freezes XP (32bit and 64bit) installs at the 'installing devices' phase. I just flashed to the latest firmware (....P09) and am now running Vista64 w/o problems.
2. MB layout w/ larger graphics cards (eg GeForce GTS 250): SATA ports are crowded by graphics card; PCIe 1x slot is completely obscured; graphics card blocks DIMM slot release tabs (must remove graphics card to add/remove DIMMs)
3. SATA connectors #1,#2, and #5 not labeled on MB or in docs. Its also not clear which SATA connectors are for SATA controller #1 and controller #2. (FYI - with SATA controller #1 in IDE mode, the SATA connector above #3 is Primary IDE Master, and the SATA connector above #4 is Primary IDE Slave).
Other Thoughts: Newegg rocks!
My setup is: - Q9400 CPU - 4x 2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 sticks - XFX GeForce GTS 250 - Vista64 ultimate

Perfect for low budget and high scalability.
Pros: Easy to fit in a medium tower, everything is nicely designed. I love the 16GB memory possibility. The integrated graphic card for a non gamer will save some watts and money. I believe this mainboard is a Winner if you look for great price, low consumption, blue ray display tons of memory and quad core possibility. Could not find any other brand that beat that....
Cons: The Bios states that the disks are IDE but only SATA is available so probably the Bios needs an update :) My SATA disk works great doh. A floppy cable and IDE cable are delivered in the box but I do not see any IDE connector. not a problem but could be a potential saving of few bucks for Foxconn.
Other Thoughts: The bios is working but maybe a few updates to look younger would be great. Not a technical issue as everything works great.

DOA
Pros: Newegg very responsive on RMA. The specs are quite good, and the price is good.
Cons: This MB says it uses the power led to provide post feedback, but should probably do this with an onboard led or the audio buzzer, like most MB. This motherboard has G45 intel chipset, but was never able to even get the BIOS up. The front panel LED showed solid on which is supposed to mean all is ok. I swapped processors, vga cables, monitors, yet I could not get any better results.
we'll see how the replacement works. I bought an ASUS as an emergency repacement, and it works fine.

excellent quality for the price
Pros: very stable. tons of memory and cpu tweaking options. all solid capacitors make for very clean power. g45 chipset is fast. Otherwise a pretty standard desktop or htpc board.
Cons: shipped with f05 bios which was causing errors with windows xp setup. It would lock up at 35 minute mark, "installing devices." After some investigation I found that machine.inf and cpu.inf, windows' default drivers for the cpu and pci bus were not compatible. big headache. Updating to bios f07 fixed this problem. The board flexes a bit with the stock intel cpu cooler installed, I think it could use a simple backplate for support.
Other Thoughts: cool board. My first foxconn board, would buy the brand again.

Running Excellent
Pros: I have been running this motherboard for about 3 months now. It is stable as can be. I was Asus man for many years, but I will buy Foxconn again next time because they cost less and are just as good. Very Happy with this board. It has the good capasitors and it is very well made like Asus.
Cons: no ATA133 IDE port
Other Thoughts: Running E5200 @ 3.5ghz - 12.5 x 280fsb (1.376 vcore setting / 1.328 vdroop durring prime 95), for months now stable for hours on prime 95.
I've ran my E5200 all the up to 4.0ghz, and it takes to much vcore past 3.6,3.7ghz. 3.5ghz is safe and under the 1.45v vcore max.

Surprisingly good and stable
Pros: Inexpensive.
Stable.
Small.
Decent overclocking options.
Sound quality is very good.
Plays HD movies with almost NO CPU LOAD.
Really like it so far.
Cons: Not sure it supports memory @ 1066. More testing needed.
My 1066MHZ G.Skill RAM is running fine at 962 MHz with the default voltage. I am going to play with the voltage next.
Other Thoughts: With a E8400 @ 3.6 GHz and 4GB of G.SKILL RAM it is very stable. It ran 12 hours of prime95 with the stock cooler and default voltages without any errors. CPU temps reached a max of 63C. I use CoreTemp version 0.99.9 that displays each core temperature and keeps MAX and MIN values.
I feel this is a great price/performance combination.
Since I do not play games besides the free Flight Gear the onboard Intel GPU is perfectly fine for me. BTW, Flight Gear reports between 24 to 33 fps which is very playable.
This motherboard does allow one to build a very nice, fast and inexpensive "all purpose" machine.

Awesome
Pros: Gigabit Ethernet / 6 SATA / Intel G45 running with an C2D 2140 at 1.6GHz runs 1080p over HDMI in XBMC without problems. 2 Gig of ram Great board
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Lack of IDE is a total plus with this board, definitely not a con.

Excellent Board
Pros: Firewire, All solid caps, ICH-10R, Esata, HDMI output. All fans headers are 4 pin, Lots of space around the CPU socket for installation of large fan. Overclocked my Q9400 to 3.1 Ghz (FSB 390) without any change in voltage. The overclock is stable despite EIST enabled. I could have probably overclocked higher but I did not try. This is prime stable overnight. There are good overclocking option, one useful feature is setup overclock which automatically increases the frequency of FSB in BIOS till the CPU crashes. This cuts time by having to reboot every time you increase FSB. Very low power consumption of only 54W at idle with 3 hitachi power efficient hard drives. North bridge is just warm to touch. Came with latest BIOS installed. Overall the board has a quality feel to it.
Cons: The fan control in BIOS is very limited unless you want to use Foxone but the smart fan enabled runs the CPU fan at low speed to minimize noise which has worked out well, altough I was a little woried at first. No CPU multiplier but I already new that and is not important to me. No digital output of audio unless you buy a separate bracket altough you can argue that HDMI port shoud be sufficient to output digital audio.
Other Thoughts: Unless you need IDE support this is probably one of the best boards for G45 chipset out there even if not taking the price into account. This is my 3rd Foxconn board over the last couple of years and I have not been disappointed in any of them. With last MB I had to use tech support and it was very responsive, hopefully I would not need it with this one.

Great motherboard...
Pros: * Lots of features * Onboard video is great and can drive multiple displays * Decent overclocking feature-set * Runs rock-solid * Great choice if you want ATX-sized features in a mATX form-factor.
Cons: * Board has an S/PDIF digital audio header, but does not include the bracket/adapter to make use of it. * Lack of an IDE header might force you to upgrade your optical drive.
Other Thoughts: Easily let me overclock my E5200 to 3.12GHz from the stock 2.5GHz.
RAID features are nice to have for certain applications.

Please Read Important
Pros: Has many features, a good bios, and solid state caps. For the money you get a pretty solid setup to build a HTPC or Lanparty box. Good compatibility with ram, HD's, CPU's, and vid cards.
Cons: This con kept it from being a 5 star: In the motherboard manual on page 19 there is a mistake. The clear cmos jumpers are labeled incorrectly. The board ships with the jumper in the run/default position, but the manual states this is the clear cmos position. See below...
Other Thoughts: I assembled a system with a Q8200 and other goodies, all top end. I assembled the pin headers as the manual said, but noticed the clear cmos jumper was in the wrong position, or so I believed. The system would keep resetting itself or not turn on at all. I shipped it back as faulty, but the next board again came the same way. The jumper connecting the clear cmos pins. I called the Tech support at Foxconn, and was told that the manual was wrong, and that the pins should be opposite of what the manual states. To their credit, someone answered immediately and found the correct placement for the pins and confirmed the mistake on page 19. Unfortunatly, I sent a motherboard back thinking it was a gonner. Two weeks lost and return shipping charges for nothing. So, buyer beware this is a solid motherboard with a very bad mistake in the manual, I hope this helps. NewEgg is Awesome!!!

Works well so far
Pros: All hardware works well. No complaints there.
Cons: The first motherboard I received from Newegg was faulty. The computer built around it kept resetting itself every 2-3 minutes.
I asked NewEgg for a RMA, returning all the motherboard-related accessories and got another, but working motherboard within 2 weeks of shipping the first one back. Barring this minor hiccup, I've been a happy camper since.

Pros: Running an E5200 at 3.125 Ghz with stock cooling - FSB at 250. Passes IntelBurnTest no problem.
Board seems well constructed, BIOS has most options you would need available (except multiplier).
I like the placement of the PCI-E slot, I can use 2 pci cards and still use a dual slot cooler for my videocard.
Sound quality is solid, BIOS shipped up to date, and the board seems solidly constructed.
Decent cooling for the north and southbridge.
Cons: Confusing voltage settings. Why wouldn't you just put the desired voltage in the menu as opposed to a number + a description that mentions something about voltage being in 6.25 mV increments?
Also, 0 in the BIOS = auto set voltage, NOT minimal. This confused me for a while since there was nothing in the description about it.
Also you can't take out the ram while a videocard is in the PCI-e slot. Boo hoo.
Other Thoughts: I have not tested the integrated HDMI.
Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Hmmm
Pros: Mini ATX. Simple to setup. BIOS was current out of the box. No problems at all for a simple install with RAID1. Manual better than most. All fan headers are 4 pin.
Cons: Claims 1066 freq O.C. memory support - maybe someone else can make it work but I can't for my G-Skil 1066. OC memory is very confusing in BIOS and Fox1 doesn't make it any easier. One place you can set freq (667 or 800 only), one place you can set it by ratio against cpu (max is 1:1.5 = 1,000), in Fox1 you can set it directly - but PC always crashed instantly on applying. No DVI - this is pretty strange to me.
Other Thoughts: Good choice for builders not planning to OC who will only want SATA drives and don't need DVI (or are adding their own video card).

Getting more for your money
Pros: Onboard Raid PCIE 2.0 for the future New type display port for the future Overclocks good Bios was up to date already Arctic cooler Freezer 7 fits The price!!!
Running E4300 @ 2.5ghz conservative overclock with stock voltage. Was able to go overclock past 3ghz easy.
Cons: No IDE ATA connection, so forget about using older style rom and HD's unless you buy a controler card.
HDMI dsiplay output only worked after changing the setting in windows, display would not show when booting. Had to boot with RGB connection first. , HDMI is way better quality then RGB connection. Maybe someone else can figure out how to make it boot and work with the HDMI connection only. I use a 9800GT aftermarket card so I don't have to worry.
PCI 1x can't be used with a large video card
CPU temps raise 4c when using a aftermarket video card, I've had this issue with all microATX boards.
Other Thoughts: Overclocking
Has quite a few different cpu/memory dividers for overclocking depending on the 667 or 800 memory setting. You will have to switch between two sections in the bios to overclock properly. No matter what memory you have you can select 667 or 800 to get different dividers, The memory timing adjustment is excellent on this board. Just select SPD disabled and the timings will show up to be adjusted. I'm actually running 800, 6-6-6-18 mem at 667 setting with 5-5-5-15.
CPU voltage is set by numbers and so on up to 1.58v equivlant. 0 is Auto 40 gives 1.328v 43 gives 1.344v 45 gives 1.360v 50 gives 1.392v and so on... Check the PC health stats in the bios after you change to see the voltage.
C1E and speed step will be disabled when overclocking no matter what. Disable the spread spectrum manually.
Mem Voltages go by 50mv increments 0.05v = +50mv.

Can't beat it for the price
Pros: A full-featured G45 micro-ATX mobo. TONS of SATA & USB connectors. Low price. The only mobo that would work for my needs -- micro-ATX, PCI-e 2.0 next to a PCI-e 1X (allowing me to fit a double-wide video card), with dual PCI slots (allowing me to fit a double-wide audio card).
Cons: Doesn't seem to support modifying the CPU clock multiplier, altough I'm not an expert in that area.
Other Thoughts: Seems to be a very good mobo. I was originally dead-set on an ASUS or Gigabyte, but this turned out to be my only option, and I'm quite happy with it.

Actually very good; troubles at first
Pros: Once I got everything up and running, it flies with E8600, 8GB DDR2-1066, 320 GB SATA, and X4500HD graphics.
Cons: Was a pain in the rear to install, and I even thought it was DOA at first, since it would not boot up at first. I installed the intel fan wrong at first and got a temp read of 90C!. Good thing I turned it off quickly. lol
Other Thoughts: Be patient with installing a motherboard.

Best board design imo!
Pros: Great board layout, accommodates large 2.0 cards
Cons: they stiffed me a mounting screw!
Other Thoughts: I had to RMA a different board because upon installing a large video card, the SATA jacks were covered. But not with this one! Installed my GTX260, connected all my peripherals, smart system fan jack placement (one in the front, one in the rear). I couldn't ask for more in a mATX board.

Good for the price, included driver need updates
Pros: Overall an excellent board. No issue getting it up and running, fantastic user manual (one of the best for detail and coverage of BIOS options). paired with a QX9750 and 4 gig ram it can render an AVI from DV source or MPG source in ~ 3x realtime (1.5 hours of footage in 30 min). Welcome news for the video editors out there. Fantastic selection of video out ports, and 2 firewire ports make this very useful for a video workstation.
Cons: Included drivers for video not stable. Go to intel.com and grab the latest video drivers. Install those. With the included drivers BSOD on XPSP2 when playing/editing HD footage. Expansion slot placement seems odd... I'd have thought placing one of the PCI slots between the two PCIe connectors would have made more sense. Overclocking may be supported, but seems to hit stability a little more than I would have liked.
Other Thoughts: I bought this board looking for bang for the buck over absolute performance (RAM and CPU were another issue ;). To that end it delivered exceptionally well. For any hard core geeks out there: This board includes the TPM header, which happens to also have the systems LPC bus ported through (think POST monitors, super I/O controllers, etc.). The SPI (BIOS chip) is socketed so if you have access to a programmer you can recover from a flash gone horribly wrong fairly easily.

Solid mobo for the $
Pros: * Lots of features packed into a mATX form factor * 4 DIMM slots; able to dual channel * Excellent User's Manual * Great "bang for the buck" * BIOS is up-to-date out of box
Cons: * Overclocking problematic; can't set memory timings or latencies in BIOS, although voltage and frequency are adjustable * "FoxOne" utility allows you to chnage settings that will cause system crashes (e.g., PCIe frequency) * BIOS defaults are a little unusual; be prepared to change them
Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm quite pleased but not blown away. The installation went very well, Vista-64 was happy and came up w/o a hitch (other than needing to make my SATA drives ACHI rather than IDE), system can be partially over-clocked.
I would like to see full support for over-clocking, an improved FoxOne utility, and more helpful technical support. Their support is responsive but, so far, has resolved one of my 4 issues. I was on my own for the others.

PCIe Dyslexia
Pros: Great stats, should've been fun...
Cons: The PCI Express slots go x16, x1 descending (from top to bottom)... This means your video card, since it has that cooler on it, blocks access to the PCIe x1 slot. This would be a non-issue if you weren't (for example) having it shipped with a PCIe PVR card and you already have an 8800 that you were going to use.
Other Thoughts: Is it just me? This seems like a serious design flaw. Everyone else stacks them PCIe x16, PCIe x4 (or x1 whatever)...

Good board
Pros: HDMI OCing options ICH10R Price compared to other G45 boards 4 Dimm Slots
Cons: No IDE port No DVI No adapter for HDMI to DVI Confusing CPU voltage adjustment in bios
Other Thoughts: For $85AR, this board is the best I've come across with an IGP. Intel chipset, RAID, and their best onboard graphics. I use a PCIe card, but it's nice to have for when this board moves to office duty. The overclocking features are a bonus. Most current bios right out of the box. Booted right up with a E5200.

great value; works with linux
Pros: I took a chance with this motherboard, and it paid off. I was building a home server and wanted something that could support 1333MHz FSB, at least 8 gigs of DDR2 800 memory, and that had onboard video and a lot of SATA 3Gb/s slots. This board was one of the cheapest options I found.
I have it running now with a Q8200 and 8 gigs of the cheapest DDR2 800 memory I could find. Installed Ubuntu 8.10 without a hitch. Compiz effects look great. The only minor issue is that fan speeds and system temperatures are not detected with current shipped 2.6.27 kernel, but that's supposed to be fixed in 2.6.28 (it87 driver has to be updated to support the IT8720F chip on this board).
The PS/2 ports are a nice bonus. They're getting harder to find on new motherboards. I use an old PS/2 Kinesis keyboard, and that saved me from having to buy and adapter.
Cons: The retail package includes a floppy connector and cable, which is fine (although who needs it?). It also includes an IDE cable, but there's no IDE connector on the board. Ok...
It would've been nice to have an IDE connector for all those legacy harddrives I have sitting around. Seems weird to have PS/2 ports and an FDD connector but no IDE connector.

Easy install
Pros: Just plugged in a Q9550, ASUS 4850 TOP, 8 Gigs of G.skill 1066 memory, the HDD, and DVD and it fired right up. This was my first build and I was expecting to have to do more troubleshooting. I wanted a small yet powerful system and that is what I got. 5.9's in Vista across the board.
Cons: The G.skill 1066 memory is running at 800. I can probably fix this but it's not that urgent so I haven't figured out how to do it yet.
Other Thoughts: I just wanted a microATX board with the p45 chipset and a PCIe 2 x16 slot. The integrated graphics on the g45 have had some slightly negative reviews but with my ASUS 4850 TOP factory overclocked board (very cheap these days including rebate) this thing is a monster.
