Rating + 4 OK, for what it is

Pros: No problems whatsoever. Streams sub-HD videos at full speed...as far as I can tell. 30+ fps in most of the standard Milkdrop 1.04b (Winamp plugin) visualizations at standard size.

Cons: Obviously ancient and outdated. Can't believe it's still almost the same price now as when I bought it in 2007.
Unless you need to upgrade an equally ancient and outdated computer, buy something else.

Other Thoughts: The rig: nearly-stock Dell Dimension 2350 from 2003 - 2.2GHz P4, 768 MB RAM
OS: Windows XP Home
Monitor: HP f2105, 1680 x 1050

Didn't bother with the included CD drivers; just downloaded the ones on ATI's site. IIRC, needed to disable onboard video in the BIOS. I don't play PC games other than MAME and 16-bit console emulators. Really, I only bought this for Milkdrop!

Rating + 1 Poor quality materials

Pros: Cheap, worked mostly out of the box for a while

Cons: This card and several other Diamond ATI cards had the heat sink fans die after a year (+/- a month or two, depending)

Other Thoughts: Support for RMA or even help tracking down OEM replacement fans from Diamond was non-existent (Closed trouble tickets without even a response). Won't buy Diamond products again if I can help it.

Rating + 2 Looks good, but crashes my comp.

Pros: The graphics do look better, with an improved framerate...

Cons: ...while the computer is running. While playing WoW or Combat Arms, I'll get one of three problems: 1: the VPU Recovery will kick in, saying the card quit responding to the drivers. 2: The computer will flat out crash and reboot. 3: I'll get the blue screen of death, saying I'm getting a page error in a nonpage area. It also says the file causing the problem is ati3duag.dll.

Other Thoughts: My computer used to run WoW and Combat Arms with the integrated graphics fairly decently. My rig is an eMachine w3050 with 2 gigs of RAM as the only upgrade besides the video card. The integrated graphics (geforce 4) blew out while trying to play CS: S, hence the replacement.

Rating + 4 Good for PCI use

Pros: I picked this up to serve help power a second monitor on a Windows MCE box. It worked great, while i used it. Easy to setup. Just fine if you're still using an old PC

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Due to mismatched screen sizes and resolutions, i never hung with dual monitors for very long. Next time I buy a video card for dual monitors, i will just get something with 2 outputs right on the card.

Rating + 4 Card is ok, but...

Pros: If you're stuck with an old PCI only machine...Card works well with most of my sons games, and runs WOW med to high settings. Big improvement over the onboard chipset.

Cons: Will not run SPORE, and I can't seem to download new drivers from Diamond's website. Weird thing, the motherboard chipset on theis Pent 4 machine WILL run Spore, but at very poor framerate. Catalys is also freezing up.

Other Thoughts: Added to an XP Pent 4 machine, very good replacement over the motherboard graphics.

Rating + 2 Disappointing

Pros: Easily installed.

Cons: Poor resolution in VGA mode. Video would randomly be lost. Cannot be overclocked. Overall poor performance on 3 yeard old game even at low settings (Fifa 07---800x600 medium quality).

Other Thoughts: Simply put, the card does not perform well whatsoever. I have an old Dell Dimension 4550 with a GeForce4 MX420 64MB card. I wanted to upgrade the graphics card. Because my motherboard doesn't have PCI-E, my options for cards are limited. Unfortunately, this card performed worse on my system -even with the latest drivers installed- than my original NVidia.

Rating + 1 Card is so so, fan dead 6 months

Pros: Needed a PCI video card. It works without the fan, ATI Catalys is nice software.

Cons: Fan was dead AT or Before 6 months. It is PCI and it costs 65.99. It is not a card even close to todays cards.

Other Thoughts: Wish I hand not spent the money and instead upgraded the monther board to get PCIe slot. (And as of these days you can get the much better on board video.) You can buy a 9600GT for 75.99 of and ATI HD 4670 is only 69.99. They are PCIe, but I wish I didn't waste the $$.$$ on old technology

Rating + 4 FAN Failing after just over a year of use

Pros: Upgraded HP Pavillion 563W...After disabling on board video this unit has worked quite well. Upgraded to the Max of 2 G of memory.

Great for playing older games, ie CoD series. It has worked quite well.

Cons: Fan failing after warranty period. WILL SOON DIE. Probably just buy another one of these cards instead of replacing fan.

Other Thoughts: Easy to install, profile slim enough to fit. This is a great unit for the price if you just want a quick and dirty fix without tearing your whole compute apart.

Pros: For a PCI card, this card does great. Runs all the games I want it to run.

Cons: Had some trouble installing the drivers. I'd recommend getting them from the website rather than the included disc.

Other Thoughts: The pictures show that the card comes with a fan, but this isn't the case, so it runs hot. Be warned. When I contacted Newegg about it, they offered a $15 reimbursement which I never saw.

Pros: A big improvement from my onboard graphics on an old eMachine. WoW played much better.

Cons: -After a few weeks of use, this thing started with this awesome noise from the fan. Very loud. Very annoying.

-PCI.

Other Thoughts: Other than the noise, it worked just fine. At the time I didn't know anything at all about computers, I just went with what was recommended on the eMachine website. I may have gotten something else other than this if I was more informed at the time.

Pros: I am not a gamer but I do a lot with pictures. I love the fact that I can now use two monitors. The good thing is I have a 15 in VGA to a 22 in flat screen and I can work with both. The soft were was easy to install and it took right off.

Cons: none as of yet.

Other Thoughts: I did have one problem during installation and that was when I got to the point in the instructions that told me how to disable my on board video card, the way it told to do so did not work and I did not catch that it did not work. So I called there tech support and they told me how to check it and fixed the problem.

Pros: This video card works great with WinXP Media Center Edition, and I haven't had any problems with it since I purchased it in 2006. The S-Video output works great for outputting to my TV.

Pros: noticeable difference on my E machines T3406 from a intel extreme graphics 2 card. installation (20 minute installation

Rating + 4 Great upgrade to onboard memory

Pros: Excellent value at < 50. Allows me to run video rich games on my e-machine T3958. So far tried " The Bard's Tale" with marked improvement. Fan so quiet I'm not sure it is working ;-]

Cons: Poor installation manual. I had to pull out an old monitor to have both on as I manipulated the control panel b/c the book has conflicting instruction steps. Also having a problem with going to a grey screen if left on. Not sure if it is overheating or not being able to recover from sleep mode. Gonna fiddle with settings b/c it does not have a problem with extended use while I am sitting there so far.

Other Thoughts: Diamond control panel a good tool to investigate if you are experiencing slow frame rate ... again poor instructions for the amature at compoment capabilities.

Rating + 5 9250 and Vista

Pros: As far as Windows XP is concerned, this Video Card is excellent. From Games to Movies the tracking and resolution is tops, it's an ATI Radeon chipset so you know you're getting a good product.

Cons: As far as Windows Vista is concerned, won't work. there are no Vista drivers for this video card and it is not supported. need to go to 9550 or higher.

Other Thoughts: When I bought this card, newegg was selling it with a package special that included Vista so naturally I thought it would work. I was glad to see they changed it.Newegg still rocks and they refunded me my money, there is no doubt that I will shop with them again...

Rating + 4 aging but good

Pros: works. has good output. works great on my 32" TV

Cons: aging graphic system. "overclock" program doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: Good way to revive an old PC for HTPC use. Plays DVD's fine on a 1.3ghz celeron with 512mb of ram. Don't even consider doing HD on this though. If your mobo is newer then 4 years, you can get a lot better options for less.

Pros: I purchased this card for my Dell Dimension 2400 after browsing video cards for a few days, and it was the perfect match. This card runs World of Warcraft great, so if you are stuck having to play games on your old dell then this card is well worth the investment.

Cons: None, although this card may not run very recent, graphic intensive games.

Other Thoughts: Newegg rocks!

Rating + 5 Stuck with PCI

Pros: Works well for my 7yr old son. Night and day difference compared to the on board video on a Dimension 2400. I was amazed it was able to play what was considered graphics heavy games from 2-3 yrs ago.

Cons: If you compare this to newer excellent cards then you will find many cons. If you are stuck with PCI and compare it to an onboard video card that eats up you system memory then, yes this is better.

Rating + 3 Derangedmono

Pros: Derangedmono- You are misguided it seems. I think you mean your power supply is 250 watts, not hertz. Hertz is a measure of operations in a given time frame.

Nobody looking at a PCI card is looking for one with 12 pipes or at a 7950 AGP.

This card is a low end card. Can't speak for video playback but for old games, it's fine. NWN-fine and dandy. Oblivion-not a chance.

Cons: Derangedmono-esque reviews.

Other Thoughts: Good low dollar card for your old Dell or HP with a PCI slot only. It'll run old games fine with medium eyecandy at moderate resolutions. NWN, HL, Guildwars, BG and maybe even a little MOH.

Pros: Not a very large card, fit in my mini tower. Doesn't overheat under hard operation. Plays some newer games decent ( Source, WoW)

Cons: Somewhat old model, can not upgrade drivers further due to imcompatibility. Not compatible with BF 2 (NOOOO).

Other Thoughts: Nice overall card for a few games, but I would mostly use this card for doing normal everyday things on your computer rather than gaming.

Rating + 1 this card. >:( GRRRR!

Pros: simple card easy to install.

FOR ALL YOU OUT THERE. I FEEL YOUR PAIN WITH THIS NO-GOOD CARD.

get a card with 12 pixle pipe lines. if u dint know what those are. go 2 specifications and get at least 12 pipe lines to get better/decent performance than this little 4 piper.

Cons: i feel your guy'z pain with this card. not knowing anything about video cards and dumb me seeing the 256 mb on the box i thought it was a fast card. but not knowing it was pci slot. so i bought this card about 112.95 at best buy so number 1. i got ripped off and got a cheap card. so this card SUCKS. BOTTOM LINE IT SUCKS.

I PLAY W.O.W and it gives my 5-20 fps so this card is probably the worst card ever! for games now a days. so if i was anybody. STAY AWAY FROM ATI'S 9000'S SERIES . THEY ALL SUCK. AND DONT GET THE X1300. thats a waist if money as well.

heres a whole list the games i got for my p.c.

dawn of war-dark crusade-not good porformance

WOW- ...not even good just berely

Diablo 1 and 2- for a old game, it still lags

halo- ok but lowest settings still very not good performance

i know, i play games newer than the card.but i didnt know the basics of a video card.

Other Thoughts: but why does catalyst slow my p.c. down? my rig is amd 64 +3800, 1 gig or ram , 250 gig HD, so other than tha. i just need 2 buy a new video card with power supply cause my power supply is about 250 hrtz that aint nothing , berely minimum requirements to even run this card. so new power supply with a new video card. my choice in a new card would be the 7950 agp slot cause thats all my mo-bo supports. =( but its better than old slow PCI slot.

Rating + 4 Works great in Linux

Pros: Works right out of the box in Linux. Plug it in and reboot, and the Free drivers from the excellent Xorg hackers do the rest.

Cons: Not exactly a cutting-edge card, but if you want smooth operation, this is a good one.

Other Thoughts: I've not tried to operate both outputs simultaneously, but I understand that it should also work smoothly. Doubly so once the XRandR 1.2 changes in the radeon drivers hit your distribution.

Pros: does dual monitors, great for improving multitasking. works fine with dells 1100 not sure what other review is talking about(id put down the pipe buddy)

Cons: cheap card, you get what you pay for. if you can avoid using a PCI card do it. but if you have to it works.

Pros: I'm sure this card may work great in other systems.

Cons: Card is incompatible with Dell Dimension 1100 series desktops. Installed to use as a second display card and could only get 5 frames a second for standard 2D desktop applications. Made even moving a window around on the screen unusable.

Other Thoughts: Swapped card out for a FX5200 series based card and everything is working great.

Pros: Allowed me to play a few games that I couldn't before on different system setups(Civilization 4 and others) and it worked well when it was all I could use (didn't have PCI-E) But all in all it worked great for me until I could upgrade.

Cons: It still freezes up on me when I try to play BF1942 as well as being a little choppy on some other games, like SM's Railroads.

Other Thoughts: I am finnally moving up in the world with a MoBo that has a PCI-E Yee haa! Time for an upgrade.

Pros: Bought it to improve dismal World of Warcraft performance. Went from 8 fps with onboard card to 22+ fps. Best card around if you can't use a pci-e card. Works great with one monitor and a tv as a second.

Rating + 5 Perfectly Happy

Pros: Inexpensive, and a great alternative for those who do not have access to AGP or PCIe video cards. It was purchased with the intention of playing World of Warcraft without massive video lag, and it continues to accomplish exactly that.

Cons: I've never been a fan of the mail-in rebate system.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my girlfriend who desperately needed an upgrade from her GeForce MX400 256MB PCI. Her motherboard lacked any AGP or PCIe slots, so finding a good PCI card that was also relatively inexpensive was wonderful. She's had it for nearly four months at the time of this review, and it outperforms my ATI Radeon 9200 512MB AGP card by a high margin. I would definitely drop the cash to buy another one.

Pros: Card workes fine for the purpose I purchased it. No complaints. Needed something to update the video on an old "on board" HP

Cons: None with the card

Other Thoughts: Don't even expect to see the rebate on this thing. Best Data is playing the old rebate game "You didnt include the proper receipt". I sent them one only one that Newegg provided. Over the phone Customer Service is a joke. Had to give up. It was costing me more in long distance tolls than the amount of the rebate

Pros: Its price. At the time when I got this card it was the best on on the market for pci. It will run quake 4 (not the best choice of course). It operates better then an Radeon xpress 200. I have never had an isssue with it running CSS, just make sure you set your video settings and use the newest driver set for it.

Cons: none for the price

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this card for its price. Now that the x1300 is out for pci and if your wanting it for gaming the x1300 would be better. But if you cant afford the x1300 then go with this card.

Pros: This card is good if you're not playing top notch games.. and by top notch, I mean CS: Source and above. Great for the price.. and if you're limited to PCI.

Cons: It improves graphics a LOT.. however, it doesn't improve frame rate by much. About 20-30fps on CS: Source, for most maps. On Guild Wars, it's RIDICULOUS frame lag at times. Runs hot.. even with the side off of my computer tower.

Other Thoughts: You'd be better off buying a motherboard that supported AGP or PCI-e. This card is worth the money.. it just doesn't suit my needs. Probably the best PCI card, though.

Pros: I needed a dvi out for a dell without AGP or PCI-e slots. This works fine.

Cons: After 3 months, the fan has started making loud rumbling noises. I need to find a new fan, or a new heatsink/fan combo.

Rebate took over 2 months but I finally did receive it.

Other Thoughts: Included driver was horrible. Playing videos or dvd's through the dvi out to my lcd hdtv were in black and white. ATI driver cleared that up.

Pros: The performance of the card is as good as the other reviewers have written. Don't expect miracles. Tho', Need For Speed Underground -with pretty much all the details on- plays awesome. My stupid intel onboard card (64 MB) never revealed me how beautiful the graphics of this game were. You will notice the difference if you have an on-board card with at least 64 MB memory.

Cons: As I said above, full details are not supported by this card. 3DMark score is 633.

Other Thoughts: My good old desktop is Pentium 4 2.0 Ghz, a trashy motherboard with no AGP or PCI Express slots, 768 MB Ram at 133Mhz. The card is exacly the one shown in the picture. Looks cool. Has a quite fan. Received in 2 days.

Cons: You can kiss off on getting the $20 rebate

Pros: this is one of the best pci cards that i have tried lately but lets be honest it doesnt make miracles remember is a "PCI" card so as long you know what you are buying this is perfect and it works in windows and Linux

Cons: none because I knew exactly what I was buying.

Rating + 5 Just what I needed.

Pros: Great for what I needed it for. FlightSim X runs alot better. Dell Dimension 3000's intergreated Vid card is not so good. LOL. Not bad for 256mb on a PCI.

Cons: I had a screen flicker (very fast and faint). Not much in the way of support online from Diamond, Although I did not call them. After changing the card from PCI slot 3 to PCI slot 1, and changed the refresh rate to 75. All was good in the world of sim.

Other Thoughts: If your computer and Moniter are capable of fater refresh rates, such as 75, I would give it a shot.

Pros: I purchased this to replace the integrated video on a Dimension 3100/E310. Installation was fairly easy. Read the "instructions". Failure to read the instructions and your going to have problems folks.

Cons: This card came with an extra video/audio input/output? It plugs into the card. Heck, there is ZERO documentation on what or "how" this can be used? It is an input or an output??

Other Thoughts: this card works good. I purchased it primarily so that I could use the S video TV out to use in conjuction with a dual tv tuner card on a dedicated dvr machine.

Rating + 4 Good, but not enough for Vista Premium

Pros: Easy installation, fairly easy to use two monitors at once using the card, newegg rocks as always with delivery speed. Replaced a GeForce MX440; noticible difference in speed.

Cons: PCI (but you knew that). The card itself was easy to install, but I had a few computer hiccups post-installation. Black screen glitches, etc. After a few days of testing, no new problems.

Other Thoughts: Used in a Dell Dimension 2400, 1 Gig Ram, 2.66 Intel 4. I was hoping to get Windows Vista Premium, but this Video card doesn't work with the Aero Interface, so I'll soon be upgrading to an X1300.

Pros: Easy to install, great price, great card! Upgraded from integrated video so that I could play HaloPC. Went from lagging on the lowest quality setting/resolution to maximum quality and highest resolution that my monitor supports (1280x1024) with almost no lag!

Cons: The bundled software that comes with it (ATI Catalyst) is a real pain because it loads several processes at startup, which really slows down my computer due to it having only 256MB of RAM.

Other Thoughts: My rig: Dell Dimension B110/ Intel Celeron D Processor, 2.53GHz/256MB DDR400 RAM/This video card/7200RPM 80GB Hard Drive. THIS CARD IS SWEET AS HECK! If your computer (like mine) doesn't support AGP or PCI Express, GET THIS CARD!

Pros: Really good card and very happy with it, got it to play online games with less lag and thats what i got.

Cons: Ati Catalyst is probably the worst thing you can install, but you can always just ditch it and use only the main drivers.

Other Thoughts: Tested it with about 5 online games i play and works really good with them, though 1 did lag a bit mostly in town which is crazy packed with players. in my opinion it wasn't the video card but the game since Silkroad which requires more didn't lag at all.

Pros: Much better than what I had before (on-board video) I'm not a techie by any means but card was very easy to install and setup. Great online support by ATI! Able to download latest drivers with ease. DVI output very nice!

Cons: Dual moniter sucks but I didn't get it for that! Other than that I love it! Con would be my 'puter only having PCI slots!

Pros: Installation went very smoothly -no problems and easier than I thought it might be. I am now able to play games that I could not play with the onboard video that I had. Great price if the rebate actually comes through - pretty decent price anyway.

Pros: No trouble installing the card and getting it working.
Plays HL2 on high settings and in 1280X1024.
Gets about 250-260FPS using a benchmark tool.

Cons: Card pictured is not the card I recived, its black with no fan.
The card I got looks just like item# N82E16814103160 on newegg.
Did not come with any mail-in reabate form or information like advertised.

Other Thoughts: The card is installed in one of my older computers with a 2.93 Celeron and mixed ram, 256 & 512.
I just wanted it to run HL2 and it did that just fine. Even if it didn't calim to have a rebate or be the card the was pictured, for the price at the time it seemed like a good deal.

Cons: I'm using the DVI port for my 19"Envision monitor and still get a "monitor not connected" in the 680X480 MS window XP startup. Does anyone know a fix for this. FYI...12 weeks for a rebate check?

Rating + 5 Excellent Value Vor a PCI Card

Pros: Gave new life to an old computer system. I decided to go with this card rather than a low-end AGP because it was more "bang for the buck."

I was able to install this card without any problems using the included software/drivers. I can now play games and watch video that I previously could not. Moreover, the games I was able to play previously are now significantly faster and 'look' much better.

I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: Can sometimes here the fan when card is under load, but it's not too bad--I'm used to it now.

Other Thoughts: I think this is card offers excellent value for those needing a PCI card.

Pros: Inexpensive, PCI design fits older motherboards, simple to install and set up, great performance upgrade from my nvidea GeForce2mx 32mb AGP card.

Cons: not the most modern card but great performance for older motherboards that don't support PCI-Express or AGP8x

Other Thoughts: I tried 2 or 3 other cards which were AGP8x... my computer didn't accept any of them. Picked up this card and installation was a breeze. Makes World of Warcraft look like a whole new game

Pros: Card is the one shown in the picture, with the fan (at least the one I got).

Cons: Driver installation was painful. The drivers on the CD AND on ATI's website wouldn't install correctly, with errors "Setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system" and "try installing standard VGA drivers first (or something like that." It ended up that I went to Diamond's website and used their drivers for the card. Visiontek's drivers also work with this card.

Pros: I upgraded to this from an onboard graphics card and the difference when playing World of Warcraft is just AMAZING!
Before I had to play with all settings on low(except for terrain distance, which I had at medium) and only averaged 10 FPS in places where a lot of action took place. With this I am able to have every video setting turned to full and I am also able to run frap and still experience no lag. Definately worth the money!

Cons: This exceeded all my expectations...Nothing bad to report.

Other Thoughts: This is a good buy IMO, I would recommend it to anyone stuck with PCI.

Rating + 4 good card, bad drivers

Pros: quiet fan, DVI output

Cons: incompatible with other ATI drivers, tight rebate timeframe forced rebate submittal before realizing I needed to return (read the NewEgg warning about not submitting rebate until you are sure you are keeping it!)

Other Thoughts: I got this card to use in a docking station. The Dell laptop had ATI driver for built in display. Unfortunately, the new drivers overwrote the drivers for the built in, making it not display correctly when undocked. ATI blames Dell, Diamond blames ATI, etc.. If I was really going to use only one video card (as the instructions recommend) then this would probably be a great card. Instead, went with an nVidia to ensure different drivers and all is well now.

Rating + 5 Wrong Picture, Right Card

Pros: This 286MB card has been a fine upgrade for my older HP xt973 with integrated Intel graphics and appears to be about the best for PCI systems from what I can learn. I hooked a new LCD monitor to the DVI port and it runs flawlessly; also looked fine on the on-board VGA plug.

Cons: The comments here indicate that there is some confusion as to why many/most of the cards delivered have no fan. If you look closely at the aerial view of the card you will see the model number ends with D3; both the advertised model number and the one on the box shown/black card received end in SB. Wrong picture posted, but since about 1/2 the commentators say fan cards are too noisy, I'm happy with the Stealth model.

Other Thoughts: Newegg once again performed on-spec and on time. Makes me wish they could reopen all the old Egghead Software stores to give C***USA some meaningful ground level competition.

Rating + 4 Nice Card for the Bread

Pros: Well for starters, this was a fantastic upgrade for me. I was on an AGP vNIDIA GeForce 4 MX440 64MB. It was a quite outdated card. This card here, is a bang for the buck if you ask me. At the moment, I have a 2.66 GHz Pentium 4 processor and 512MB of RAM and I get a reasonable 35 fps average on CS:S (med-high), a major gain from the laughable 5 fps and half-textured loads of the MX. If your card is old (or even ancient), get this while you can. I think it's great for the money spent and even the ground shipping was quick. Mine also looked exactly as in the picture, so you shouldn't be worried. Installation was a breeze as well, but if you're running AGP, you have to change the settings in BIOS.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: Ok. I had onboard graphics before I bought this product...was running 96 megs of integrated vram, and it worked ok. Upgraded to this pci card because I did not have a pci-e or agp slot on my board (im building a new comp before x-mas i hope) so a pci vid card was my only option...now games i couldnt run on the lowest settings i can now easily run on high or (depending on the game) atleast medium. Definitely helps out if you have onboard video. well worth the money

Cons: directions arent good, you have to change the bios to read from the pci slot but other than that it seems great

Other Thoughts: will review after i have had it longer and tested it more thoroughly

Pros: like 50 some odd other said about this card itz good if ur stuck with pci.if u had low quality onboard graphics before then you'll notice a difference especially in games.

Cons: its just a pci card so itz not gonna work wonders for you but there will be a difference. The actual card is different than the one they show. the card tht you get is the diamond STEALTH card which means it doesnt come with a shnazzy fan and mine was blue not red.

Other Thoughts: it plays halo combat evolved on pretty high settings, which was awesome because before my computer would pop up with a message saying my graphics specs are too low.it plays counterstrike:source on med settings. make sure you install it right, especially if you dont know much about computers (like me). and if this card doesnt cut it for you i saw a ge force 6600 oc floating around on best buy . com if you if you want more power and ur willing to spend the extra dough.

Rating + 4 A Great PCI Card

Pros: It is a great card if stuck with PCI. I had a Dell Dimension 3000 with horriblee integrated graphics and 256 MB Ram. My PC would freeze while running microsoft word. Thats how bad the $#+ was. So anyway, I decided the piece of $#+ needed to be P1Mpd a little. So I put in a Gig of Ram, a DVD drive, and this card. I am able to play CS, DOD, CoD at about 70 fps (max)60 average. I am reccomending this card to anyone lacking the capabilites with a computer without PCI- E or AGP slots. and fyi Newegg got it here in like 4 days.

Cons: The card pictured is not the card you will get. and it does not come with a fan. It is actually navy blue with a heatsink. But I dont mind.

Other Thoughts: The best PCI out there. And quite frankly who cares if it is too loud or a different card cause I choose preformance over noise and looks.

Rating + 1 This Video Card IS NOT What Is Pictured

Pros: The details and product write up are good. I have not used this Video Card as I have returned twice. The picture shown in the discription and the item received is 100% opposite from the looks of what is shown. The PRO: Newegg customer service is A+++ and I got full credit.

Cons: The video card I received 1st I returned.... did not have an onboard cooling fan as shown and it looked totally NOTHING like the picture as shown. >>> RETURNED to Newegg and ordered same board again. AGAIN, just like before, the 2nd time same looking board (no cooling fan & board looks totally different). Having this happen twice, I can only assume Diamond sucks and Diamond has sent Newegg inferior stock.

Other Thoughts: Personally, I have no faith in Diamond. As for NEWEGG, well always they ROCK and their A-1 customer service team keeps them on top.

Pros: It can play World of Warcraft with everything turned all the way up with all visual settings turned on with no lag. Everything looks better than on-board no matter what you use it for.

Cons: Doesn't play BF2. I don't know why, it gets to the login screen and then just crashes to desktop, might be the drivers. Kinda hard to install the Catalyst drivers for some reason.

Other Thoughts: This was for my friend. For some reason, he didn't get the one with the fan, it was the original one with a small standard heatsink. I recommend this to anyone still using on-board to play games. My friend's specs were Celeron D 2.9GHz, and 512MB RAM.

Pros: The card was easy to install and set up. It also works as well as can be expected for a PCI card. I play DDO, and most of the problems with jerkiness that occur happen when dozens of players are in the same place at the same time.

Cons: Diamond hasn't confirmed receipt of the rebate. It seems that no one ever seems to get confirmation.

Pros: If your stuck with PCI only, a great card for the money. Runs F.E.A.R. at med settings flawlessly, and Guild Wars at full settings with minimal frameskip.

Cons: No rebate form, so no rebate.

Other Thoughts: Fan is perfectly quiet so far.

Unbeatable value for those stranded with just PCI.

Rating + 5 Great Card

Pros: If all you hav is PCI slots this the best card you can get and it's cheap too. Plays all of my games on high detail: CS source, Half-Life2, Halo, ect. And it does come with a cooling fan.

Cons: I didnt get a rebate form, so you can forget about the rebate

Other Thoughts: I got received my card on schedule.

Rating + 2 Card has changed - it now has a LOUD fan

Pros: The graphics portion of this card worked well as a replacement for failing integrated graphics. Installation was easy.

Cons: The pictures on NewEgg and other sources including Diamond's web site show this card as having only a heatsink _without_ a fan. My card shipped WITH a fan; and a fan that's loud and chirpy. This was chosen to go into a system that already has very quiet hard drives and power supply and case fans so the noise was obvious.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg was very gracious and has already sent me an RMA without the restocking fee and they're paying for return shipping. They're a good company, this product is simply not what has been advertised.

Rating + 5 Great card!

Pros: Bought this as a secondary card, to add two more displays to my system. Simply added it to an open PCI slot, then Windows XP installed the drivers, and I was good to go. Very easy to set up.

Cons: The cooling fan has a noticable whine, but it's not obnoxious. This is a long card, so make sure you've got room in your case.

Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer, so can't comment on the graphics performance. I just love having a triple-monitor system

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this card and received it in the mail A DAY LATER with normal shipping. Wow.
