Awesome
Pros: This card makes the games that put it to use look incredible. The first game I played with it was Ghost recon and I shot the fence at the start and every plank went flying off the cliff. Awesome! Not to mention Cellfactor looks insane.
Cons: Even now it is still a bit expensive considering that very few games can even put it to use. Now after several months of owning it the fan has started to go out, this is why I only give it a 4. I would expect the fan to last alot longer! If the fan wouldn't already be going out it would have easily got a 5.

physx
Pros: This is an awesome little card if you what to cell factor and advanced war fighter. I also liked the fact that it came with the demos of the games just so you are not disappointed when none of your games work with it.
Cons: It is fairly expensive for the few games that utilize this card. If you are looking to greatly raise the performance of your system you should spend your money somewhere else.
Other Thoughts: This card will not boost your 3dmark06 score because they use a ai to put a load this card so it does not help. It does however greatly improve the 3dmark05 score.

Awesome effects, when supported
Pros: Adds awesome visual effects to games that support it; speeds up supported titles a little if you have a slow system (AGP seems to benefit); comes with a free copy of GRAW; rumor has it that the new MMORPG Warhammer will also support PhysX.
(NOTE: This card will not improve performance on unsupported games like some reviewers have mentioned, the titles have to make use of the PhysX engine to access the co-processor)
Cons: There are not a lot of games that support it; somewhat expensive for a peripheral that doesn't have a lot of support; slows down supported titles a little if you have a fast system (PCI-E seems to take a hit).
Other Thoughts: Check out the Ageia web site for a full list of supported games, but unfortunately that list is quite small. The three big supported titles are GRAW, GRAW2, and UT3, and it's nice to have a copy of GRAW with this version. Unfortunately, the effects in GRAW seem to be an afterthought, and although are noticeable, are not that impressive. However, you absolutely have to download and try the latest MOD pack for UT3, which includes a new modified level of "Heat Ray". The main change is that this level occurs during a hail storm, and there are literally "thousands" of hail balls hitting the ground and rolling around. This effect, along with the gravity wave canon which pulls debris toward your target, makes for one of the coolest effects I've ever seen in a game. The other two UT3 MOD levels are okay and show off what the card can do, such as "destructable" levels where you are blowing walls and floors apart to make quicker paths to your enemy's CTF base, again very cool.

Just had to have one....
Pros: I just wanted to see the demos that install with Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter run in hardware mode...cause you know you have to install the drivers for this thing even if you don't have one instsalled!!!!
Cons: None if you have money and just want one!!!!
Other Thoughts: they seem to help with 3D06 scores by like 30pts...it has alot of stuff that uses it in its benchmarking!!!

Its ok I guess
Pros: Well It Works just Fine, I can Play Cellfactor Now
Cons: not much to say it does what it says to the games that support it, notice a small fps loss with UT3 not much supporting it, or at least thats worth the time or money
Other Thoughts: If you really want it then go for it, but if you can live without it or dont want to be dissapointed then dont, i cant say im dissapointed but i would be just fine without it

Nvidia buys Ageia
Pros: Definitely an improvement in rendering. PhysX chip reduces CPU workload too. CPU noticeably cooler during heavy rendering.
Cons: Little room for PhysX card within SLI VGA array. Chose to block PhysX fan rather than VGA fan (8800 x 2). Probably 1/10 inch clearance. Minimal airflow. Will search around for a low-profile heat pipe to replace stock ASUS fan. Fan is fairly loud anyway ... destroyed my nearly silent setup.
Other Thoughts: Been meaning to try one of these PhysX cards but forgot about it until I ran across an article about Nvidia acquiring Ageia. Newegg's price lowest. May get another before too late.

Excellent product
Pros: This is an excellent product. The fan isn't loud like some people complain, actually I can't even hear it and my Dell XPS420 is very silent. I also noticed that id did help a lot with the graphics even in the games that do not use PhysiX, like COD2. It kinda gave my weak Radeon HD 2400PRO another set wings, greatly improving the graphics.
Cons: None, you get what you paid for.

Great Product
Pros: Great card, definitely does add to games that aren't literally supported.
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: I don't know what people are complaining about... This card works very well with UT3 and adds a lot to other new games that don't use the PhysX engine. CoD4 comes to mind first and foremost, it adds a ton to the lighting in particular, just simple stuff like the shading and lighting reflecting off of the grass is incredible. On the Wet Work stage, the water coming onto the boat just looks awesome. Bioshock looks incredible with this as well.

Good choice for AGP'ers
Pros: I bought this to go with a 512 x 256 Radeon X1950 Pro AGP card and a P4 ht (Prescott) running at 3.6. Reason be is because cards like the 3850 and so on are made to run with DDR2 and dual core / quad set-ups . Well most people like my self that still have a agp board are using a single core CPU. Well to answer all questions about if it does or doesnt help .... IT DOES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU BUY THIS TO SUPPORT A SING CORE CPU AND AGP CARDS. Cause this thing is a waist of money if you have a multi core cpu and a PCI-E card. You might as well buy a 8800 or 9600 cause those cards already supports the Ageia PhysX chips. If you want to see a performance increase on your dieing agp set-up buy this . It really takes the load off your CPU and GPU and you will see smother gameplay in games that suppport PhysX and the games that don't. It event added 500+ 3D marks to my score.
Cons: I'm only saying that if you have an AGP set up like most of the people in the world (single core cpu / ddr 184 pin and a 8X bus speed for your AGP card) this is the way to go instead of trying to buy a card like the new HD3850 from ATI cause the newer agp cards like that one dont even preform to the full extent cause of "bottle-necking" from lack of cpu and memory. Dont get me wrong the new cards are great.. but your waisting your money. buy this and pair it up with a X1950 and let the benchmarks do the talking im getting 200 3D marks less with this and my X1950 Pro AGP than the new AGP card (HD3850) with a multi core CPU and DDR2. and the new card is only 30$ more than my card lol.. need i say more.
Other Thoughts: My set up--- ABIT AS8-V mobo.. P4 HT @ 3.6(Prescott) 3 GB of Kingston HyperX 184 pin DDR .. Radeon X1950Pro and this card (of course!) This is an excellent choice for AGP'ers. Buy this to put back some "juice" into your AGP set-up. It really works!

TOO BAD AGEIA, Hate to see you go!
Pros: Great Card, too bad there is not likely to be any more support for it. AGEIA was bought out by Nvidia. It looks like they are just either just buying the technology and getting rid of it OR it will get integrated into future cards but that will be a while.
Cons: PhysX is going to be missed!! I'll use mine as long as I can!!
Other Thoughts: With the price down so low it is a great ttime to buy it as long as you understand the support for it may go away. I hope I am wrong. I love my PPU!!

Great investment
Pros: this card is great it adds almost no extra heat if you have good air flow in your case that is, there is a preformance boost in physics heavy games evan ones that dont support phsyx by ageia thats right its true. for those of you that are sceptical think of it this way if you add a second video card to your sustem it helps the fps evan with games that are older that went made for that setup same with the phisics card it helps phiscs heavy games.
Cons: absolutly nothin
Other Thoughts: i want to clear up a few things, when i first decided to get this card i was unsure how it would help with all the reviews out their some say it helps games play better some say that thats not true but i got it anyways and im verry happy i did this card DOSE! thats right DOSE! help for instance the first thing that i tried when i got the card was crysis now i dont have a cheap system but my cpu is a little under powerd to run phsics and live renderd water so when your shot a tree down in the game it would fall slowly and hit the ground with what seemed like no force. But with the graphics card all the phsics sped up the trees hit with force and sped up my frames by 10-13 more on avg.

new games need PHYSX
Pros: I like this card ALOT. It has been another great addition to my gaming rig. it takes alot of stress off of my video card and processor, it even increased my fps and overall performance of my rig. i would def recomend this to any one that plays games with dx9 or dx10 games that require alot of physics. True few games except for some new oneswill use the full potential of this card but its a great deal and you even get a free game with it. its a must have if you are building the ultiamte gaming computer if your motherboard pci and pci-e slots allow it. i am def buying another one in the near future.
Cons: it does run on max and it does sound like its going to die. it is kinda loud but not as loud as my case fans and my cpu cooler. i have five case fans 1 (120mm) 4(80mm) and my cooler has a 92mm and a 80mm so i cant really hear it at all to tell the truth its not that loud, but maybe its my case fans and not the card.
Other Thoughts: make sure you have extra molex connector and ample space to keep this card if you plan on running sli or crossfire in the future

Not worth it, yet.
Pros: Great performance increase and effects quality gain in games that support it. Takes a lot of load off the CPU.
Cons: Expensive for what it is.
LOUD! This card is louder than 7 80mm case fans moving 60+ CFM of air each, my vid card fan, HSF and CD/Hard-drives combined.... It has no voltage throttle so it runs max speed all the time and it has no rotational control so it sounds like it is going to die from day one.
Not many games support it, yet.
Nvidia is purchasing the company that makes these PPUs so expect to see them built into Nvidia cards soon. Nvidia says it plans to continue to support the hardware line but we'll see if they develop new stand alone cards or monopolize on this physx technology the same way they are refusing to let any other chipset companies support SLI.
Other Thoughts: This this is REALLY cool and it DOES make a huge difference with what it does.... But its so new and so few games support it you literally have to search for hours to find enough games to play for a few days.... On the up side all Unreal Engine 3 games and others will be supporting this soon.
Also because motherboard companies are stupid you PROBABLY don't have an open PCI slot for this thing if you run SLI/Crossfire and a sound card.... Though the next gen cards are supposed to be PCI-E or PCI-E 1X, IF Nvidia doesnt cancel them.

Yummmy
Pros: Adds some life to my dieing agp system, noticeable effects and no drop in framerates for UT3
Cons: Price
Other Thoughts: I don't notice the heat issues people are complaining about.Good air flow always helps. Having an asus board might add a bit more stability? Maybe? Not sure but makes sense.

Umm.. AWESOME!
Pros: insanely nice addition to my gaming rig.. immediately noticed the difference in performance of most effects like smoke, explosions, fire, and sparks..even in non-PHYSX enables games
Cons: sits really close to one of my geforce 8600gt's, but havent noticed any heat problems from either card due to it... my antec 900 case keeps everything really cooled off

Crazy!
Pros: 85 frames per second in cell factor now 158 frames per second.
Cons: people who say their systems fail or run slow when using this people who say i have quad core, 8800 ultra sli and run doom 3 in med-low settings!
Other Thoughts: my system rules: Q6600, (2)8800ultra's, 680i sli a1 mobo, Crucial ballistix's quad pump ram running 1200mhz each, sound blaster elite, 150gb raptor X, lian-li case, 1200watt psu, Samsung 22inch, logitech lx710 keyboard and mouse combo, logitech z-5500 THX speakers.

It REALLY does Help!!
Pros: It actually does help the physics process and your games run a lot better... if you know what games are comparable with a PhysX card. Comes with CellFactor, which is a cool game, would be fantastic for multilayer. Anything running off the Unreal Engine 3 will run better with this thing. My mediocre GeForce 7300 GT graphics card runs Bioshock much more smoothly at a higher resolution with this thing! And AGEIA has some wonderful physics mods for UT3 that are only benefited by a PhysX Card.
Cons: People keep complaining that it's a waste of money and it doesn't really do anything. You have to do your homework and look up what it works with.
Other Thoughts: Even though, newer graphics cards do have some physics calculations supported in them, they still focus mainly upon High Def, spectacular graphics and the physics they calculate will not compare, at least, to this day, to what a PhysX card can do.

power supply
Pros: Offers more action in games.
Cons: Games are limited, price point is not low since need new power supply to consider also.
Other Thoughts: wrote review because many were talking about problems with the card? IT IS NOT THE CARD IT IS YOUR POWER SUPPLY. Run a 700watt power supply.

I'm Considering This Card
Pros: After doing my research Ive discovered that there are 2 schools of though. build your own physics or buy an engine. You can pay $250K for havok or get ageia's physx engine for free. So If youre a dev its academic as long as you decide to buy an engine. LOL
Cons: Currently there is limited support for this product but the number of games is increasing steadily. If the game does not use ageia's physx (formerly novodex {the first SMP physics engine btw}) you will see NO or VERY LITTLE benefit. If you turn the effects up all the way you will get framerate drops because the vid card has to render more.
Other Thoughts: havok says no gpu based physics till directx11
if you think a dual core can do real physics better than a dedicated piece of hardware search youtube for "dual vs physx" you will see a guy with a dual core HT pc running a demo of 6,000 rocks falling down a hill in both software (done on the cpu) and hardware (done with the ppu). If that doesnt convince you that this hardware is needed then nothing will.

Well worth the cost!
Pros: This Ageia P1 PhysX card creates amazing effects for games that support it. Once you've played UT3 on the Vortex and Lighthouse maps, you'll want every FPS game you play to have the same level of physical interaction and realism! Simply amazing!
Cons: The only con IMHO is that it needs broader support from game developers. Ageia's web site indicates more is on the way, and I am very much looking forward to what they will offer, but they can't be expected to do it all.
Other Thoughts: Well worth an investment of less than $130, especially with Ghost Recon, Cellfactor, and other goodies it comes with. You will not be disappointed.

good card
Pros: Bought this for a friend for his xmas. He is Playing City of Heroes mostly. Right away, he noticed a huge change. His Grfx card is an ATI 1650 he can now crank up the graphics quality and resolution since before there was a slide show if he went full res and quality.
Cons: none really.
Other Thoughts: There's nothing wrong with the card guys. There is no magical card out there that for 130 bucks gives you everything. You have to expect some issues. since everyone insists on using their own physics engines, you have to expect some games dont work with this card very well or not at all.

Future potential... maybe
Pros: When properly supported, this card can really add to the wow-factor of your PC Games.
Cons: The vast majority of games still don't make use of it. Also, mine seems to have a problem and locks up everytime time I try to play the Ageia Unreal Tournament maps. Ageia isn't interested in helping me, and Asus technical support seems to treat this card like a red-headed stepchild too. Looks like I'm stuck with it.
Other Thoughts: I've seen what the card can do when it's really supported, and the results are very nice, but that support isn't materializing very fast at all. I bought it knowing UT3 would make use of it, but they actually do so little with it in the standard maps, you'd be hard pressed to say it wouldn't be possible without this card. Because my card seems to have a problem, the 2 maps that WOULD show off the PhysX really well won't run. Yay.

Don't waste your money
Pros: Increases performance of games that use Ageia's Physx engine.
Cons: Doesn't do anything for games that do not use the physics engine.
Other Thoughts: To the joker who claims that this card will make Crysis better, this is straight from the Crysis official website FAQ's: 11) Does Crysis support any specialty hardware such as Ageia PhysX?
Yes, however Crysis will not support the Ageia PhysX card due to the fact that Crytek have built their own proprietary physics engine which is not only more advanced than Ageia's, but performs very well on ordinary CPU's (especially multi-core platofmrs). Crysis will support various technologies out of the box including 64-bit operating systems, multi-core processors (as mentioned above), DX9 through to DX10 and many gaming devices such as gamepads. On top of that, the Sandbox editor that comes with Crysis supports the use of a webcam (or any other video capturing device or camera) to animate character expressions.

core2>this
Pros: i dont have it
Cons: its a waste. Its basically an emulator. GRAW2 supposedly supports this card. But after messing with some game files, I was able to force "Ageia Physics" with a fps drop of less than 10. Advanved physics processing does NOT require this card. Look at games like Crysis; they have physics FAR more advanced and can be achieved with a dual core.
Other Thoughts: mobo-650i ultra cpu-e6550 gpu-8800gt ram-2gb ocz

Its Good Expect Miracles
Pros: It makes the Explosions pop! well they just look alot better! i wish that more games would use its engin but what ever its still cool!! O' and it runs cool i dont know what my friends where talking about when they said that it gets hot?!
Cons: well its not a miracle worker? i dont know its cool.

Cool idea, maybe not early enough.
Pros: Cool idea, nice product, improves game play with games that support it.
Cons: Nothing really, does what it says and then some. Those of you who bash this product because more games don't support it are kinda short sighted. Like bashing vista because other people have not written drivers for it. Rate the products on what they say they can do, not on how well others implamnet the product.
Other Thoughts: If this came out 2-3 years ago when most computers were only 1 core, (or the P4 HT which does not count) then I think more games would take advantage of it. But now since most are running X2 or Quad cores, the games (like Crysis) take advantage of the extra cores rather than this card.

Huge amount of misinformation on this product!
Pros: If a game uses the Ageia PhysX physics engine then this card can perform the physics calculations on the dedicated PPU. It can perform these calculations much, much faster than a CPU.
Cons: Very few of the latest games use the Ageia PhysX physics engine. UT3 is one of the few. Not all Unreal Engine 3 based games use the Ageia PhysX engine. The Bioshock demo for the PC did not. Not sure about the full game. Valve Source engine games do not. id Software games do not. Crysis does not. For games that don't use the Aegia PhysX engine the card does absolutely nothing.
Since this product is a complete computer on a card with a multicore PPU, memory, etc. it generates some heat. The fan noise is not too bad. Installing this card will raise the temperature of your case.
Other Thoughts: A dedicated PPU is probably not the future of gaming. Multicores allow the physics to run on a separate processor. I bought this for UT3 to help out my aging Pentium 4 3.2E HT CPU since the PhysX card is now fairly cheap.

Problems
Pros: NONE
Cons: I got this card and it never worked from the start. Sent it back for another and still the same problem. I'm not sure if it's the card or my pc, but it was a BIG waste of time and money.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money!

Pros: in the games that it works in it adds alittle something extra.* kinda cool to be able to say you have one.
Cons: *it actually seemed to lower the frams i got in graw2 from 45-70 to 30-60. twas odd. and it doesnt work in multiplayer cept for explosions. hasnt seemed to show me anything new in the UT3 demo, although there is an option for hardware physx. we will have to wait for the full version. and not a whole lot of games out that use the card. and it takes up a pci spot if you dont have many to spare.
Other Thoughts: i have high hopes for this card and would like to see new games come out that use it.
NEW EGG ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!

good
Pros: very good graphics in the games that use it. easy install vista 32bit. no driver problems!
Cons: loud fan. i did not get graw2.I got what the picture shows. the fan and cooling sucks, if your going to buy this get a zelman vf 7000 or vf 9000 with the 9000 you can use the ram sinks. I got the 7000 which is more than enough the card uses 55 watts.

Awesome and Well Worth The $$$
Pros: Tested out this card today pretty heavly and I have to say well worth the money paid especially with the 2 awesome free games. The frame rates with this card I was between 30-60 pretty much all the time in cell factor and Graw 2. If you figure $40 per game then the card is only $60 that is cheap. I think I have a new favorite game too the Cell factor: revolution is amazing and is actually built around the physics card (as ageia owns the title) but I have to say Money well spent! And hope that this tech becomes a standard in gaming.
Cons: None that I can tell Would like to see a pci-x model but other than that perfection!

I LOVE IT!
Pros: Look This card is amazing. It is worth every Penny. There is no performance difference between the ASUS and BFG. The only thing different is ASUS gives you GHOST RECON 2 for FREE!
NOW, after playing ghost recon 2 I must do me a lil dance... Thats right, This card ROCKS! And it gets even better with a 8800 GTS right beside of this ASUS. Put 2 and 2 together and your set for a long time!
Medal of Honor:Airborne is also supported by Ageia just to let eveyone know.. i think there's alot more games there is not listed to support PhysX.. why give away... let it be a surprise to people buying a game that supports PhsX.
I really Recommend This ASUS because its the best BANG for you BUCK.
Did I mention THIS CARD ROCKS!
Cons: Umm.. Nothing. I understand that there are limted game support.
But who cares once you see the EYE candy in Ghost Recon 2 and Medal of Honor Airborne.. youll have enough patient's.
I mean there isnt really nothing bad here as long as you have the Computer to run it with a good video card.
A++++++++
Other Thoughts: People who are purchasing this has to understand and be patient that there are less then 20 ganes that support physx.. but buy the time you beat GHOST RECON 2 and Medal Of Honor Airbrone.. There will be another eye popping game out supported by PhysX.
WHOOOHOOOO! physX rocks!

get your story and HARDWARE straight!!!
Pros: Solid device, does all it promises if installed on a properly configured machine. like its been mentioned before, extra cores and SLi are not designed for physics algorythms, they require a huge amount of processing power for something that can be handled perfectly fine by this card. You need to see the comparison side by side. Havok was designed to use the CPU to do its algorythms, physx on the other hand are far more advanced than just putting topspin on a box you just shot.
Cons: no cons unless you dont "get it" (more and more games (like Crysis and UT3) will come to use physx, havok will soon be obsolete, so dont use lacking third party support as an excuse!!!) you will only have a problem if you dont know how to build a good reliable pc. most people dont know how to streamline what they already have, leading them to believe that their computer sucks when in all reality they just dont know how to use it.
Other Thoughts: this card was made to efficiently process the physics for the next gen. If you want an example, check out www.crytek.com Crysis (WILL BE THE BEST GAME TO DATE) in terms of technology, you can shoot the leaves off trees, drive a truck through a shack and watch every little board go flying, plants move and bend as you brush by, fog swirls as you walk through, o yea and boxes have topspin as if tyhey where thrown in real life. lol. what makes physx beautiful is that i can have all these wonderfull physx feature active due to a $150 card, without buying a $800 quad core processor, and 1 or 2 $500 video cards that STILL cant process physx data to its fullest. BTW my system: 3.4ghz P4, EVGA 7950 512mb, 3gb ddr2, and it spanks oblivion on highest settings. dont down this card, it just made a nearly obsolete computer every bit as powerful as an xbox 360, P4HT+GPU+PPU=3 specialized cores (4 if you count HT) that do everything my games could ask. btw my rig cost $1350 since i started 1 year ag

This devide is OK but its just not the future.
Pros: Well Newegg shipped the device to me quickly and the device did work but...
Cons: All I ran into with this card were conflicts with my existing hardware. If you have a Creative X-Fi card and love using Gaming Mode get ready for your first set of issues. Even with Cell Factor the game would load fine but it didn't take long until the card found a way to screw up my audio and churn out a loud pitch noise. The audio completely vanished and left me with just a high pitched squeal. It can be fixed if you use another mode but that alone made me agree this card is not the future of physics within games. Having to sacrifice a good feature to run another is not my idea of quality. Perhaps this technology can stay but not in the form of it own hardware device. My next complaint was the software. Worked fine for a while in Vista Business x64 however Ghost Recon (yet another packed piece of software) would occasionally crash. This caused the card to lock up with the only way to reset or run a diagnosis was to reboot my PC.
Other Thoughts: This idea of running a diagnosis or resetting the card is great but unfortunately if your game that uses this device crashes you would have to reboot your PC anyway to completely fix the issue. All in all the idea is OK but with technology advancing and companies like Valve finding ways to utilize dual and quad core processor there really is no use for this type of hardware.

People have no clue
Pros: The idea is good.
Cons: Ageia is a scam, plain and simple. The way technology is going now physics can be solved with an extra core on the CPU or another GFX card in sli or cross fire. Ageia makes you think you need the card to run their own Cellfactor game. If anyone played the demo they'd know it was running just fine, some things disabled. Once the full version became downloadable no one was able to run it smoothly due to Ageia tinkering with the game settings to make it run horribly on purpose. Havok is the other engine games developers use, they use a special one that costs a bit more for the devs called Havok FX which offloads the physics off to another core or gfx card. The games being used for these cards are hardly even worth the card. Havok is where it's at. Also if you know what your doing in the .ini files, you can find where the stuff for ageia is located and turn on the physics to run on your hardware even without the card.
Other Thoughts: The great all mighty cards run horrible, they get hotter than my video card and it's not even doing anything but sitting there. It started locking up my computer a day after I put it in and wasn't able to get into windows. Took it out and started right up.

Ohh yeah!
Pros: Makes PhysX supported games look and play unreal. comes bundled with killer software, runs cooler then the other manuf.'s card.
Cons: Still runs hot, not a whole lot of supported titles. Wish it were on a PCI-E interface.
Other Thoughts: UNREAL TOURNAMENT # bough this card solely for that game. :D

Finally Starting To Shine
Pros: Makes games using the PhysX physics engine look and react more lifelike.
Cons: None. It does everything promised.
Other Thoughts: The card only improves system performance for games using the PhysX engine. The card was designed to assist with physics calculations the CPU and GPU can't do efficiently. It's only now starting to show off what it can add to a game. I purchased the card earlier this year when only a couple games featured the proper PhysX optimizations. Even then, those games didn't include much. I'm a fan of GRAW. That's why I "needed" the card. Now with GRAW 2, I'm starting to get a good idea how physics can change a game for the better. Explosions look fantastic and all the junk flying through the air looks and behaves realistically. Game environments using PhysX will see vast improvements in realism. I'm really looking forward to the new upcoming Unreal Tournament. As time goes by, more games will be using PhysX. Ageia's engine license is royalty free, making it an attractive choice for game writers. (hmm? I hope I don't sound like a fanboy. I hate those guys)

Feh.
Pros: It enables PhysX in supported games. I haven't played far enough in my PhysX games to see any of this in action, but it's supposed to actually be cool.
Cons: It runs wayyy too hot. No matter where I put it in my computer, it runs too hot. And, I never play any of my PhysX games, so I could just as easily take this out.
Other Thoughts: Half-Life 2 has it's own physics engine. It does not use Ageia's PhysX engine. In fact, the only games that use it say "PhysX by Ageia" on it somewhere, and start up showing it to you.
ASUS... why must this run so HOT?
PhysX is it's own API. This does NOT capture physics or enable realistic physics in just any game! ie. Bet on Soldier: Blood of Sahara can be PhysX-enabled. City of Villians can be PhysX-enabled. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter can be PhysX-enabled. But, HL2 does NOT USE PHYSX. All the physics are done in-engine, using the CPU to process it. Not this.
Don't buy this without going to Ageia's homepage first to do some research. (www.ageia.com)

Really Awesome for Gaming
Pros: Installed this card about 2-3 months ago and i noticed the change right away. Half Life 2 played even better than before, even Doom 3 is playing extremely awesome. I have GeForce 7600 and it works well the Phys Card.
Cons: Has Auto-Update feature, but never really updated itself, have to go to website and actually do it yourself.
Other Thoughts: If your hardcore gamer and looking for better performance, this card will do trick. It's fun tossing the guys in HL2 that you grab with Gravity Gun (towards end of game) and watching them fall, you can almost feel it yourself.

So far so good!
Pros: Recognized by my Foxconn mATX mobo. Runs smoothly on Vista. CoV is impressive.
Cons: Potential has not been fully reached. Can add heat to your case.
Other Thoughts: This is a nice card and I'm glad to see the price has come down for it. City of Villains appears to be nice and the drivers work flawlessly in Vista Ultimate 64 (so far).

Fix for Ghost Recon
Pros: A: Type the Ghost Recon serial number in _capital letters_. It works then. If you use lower case, it doesn't work.
B: I bought this for City of Heroes. Sweet mother of pearl. It works. It works _well_. Difference is instant. Fixed the particle problem I've been having since physics went in.
C: Not much louder than existing system.
Cons: ... It cost money and took power. Beyond that, havn't found any yet.

Can't Wait for games.
Pros: I am for the new technology that is now being made available for PC's. WII, PS3, and XBOX 360 have all incorporated this processor into their gaming systems! Supported games are on the way;Unreal Tournament 3/2007 to name one!
Cons: Not many supported games are available yet.
Other Thoughts: Ghost Recon CD key is on the back of the cd sleeve..................

DoA, tech convinced me it was my problem.
Pros: Maybe GRAW?
Cons: Tech with Asus: About 3 hours total, 2 hours 30 minutes total on hold, and 30 mins being told what I already knew. So I called 4 different times, they gave me 4 different solutions. Hey, maybe your board is causing a short! Heres a way to rig it, BUY some electrical tape, and rig the board! Oh, that didn't work? Maybe it's your power supply! So, minimum for the card is 300 or 350 or so, I have a 450. I am also running a 7950 GT KO, that requires 450. Tech tells me buy a 550 watt power supply, go do that, oh look, nothing again. Call tech again, wait 40 mins for some guy to tell me "Well, looks like I can RMA it for you". Nice.
Other Thoughts: Don't plan on buying from Asus ever again, wasted time, wasted money, wasted product.

Great Buy
Pros: The card works great, and they are offering Ghost recon (yes mine came with key), and two other games you have to mail in for! Check out ageia.com for more info!
Cons: Dont like the heatsink and fan, but it does stay cool enough! Need more phys-x games, and yes they are comming!
Other Thoughts: The reason Asus cant give a key is because they are not the makers of the Game! Every game created is assigned a key and its not like they can hand them out! Peeps make mistakes, and beside you should conyact Ubi-Soft for the key, not Asus!

Tough to Label
Pros: works great on test software and demos, some benefits added to content. ~10% gee-wiz factor
Cons: little pricey since there isn't much to use it on. Unknown if it'll work in "action".
Other Thoughts: If you purchase a game that utilizes this technology and have the cash for a ~10% neato factor. Then it's worth it. FYI uses about 25 watts.

Card is great, but asus sucks
Pros: Excellent hardware. Does exactly what it says. If you have the rig to support it, this card makes a huge different to games that use it's features. See Cons for *IMPORTANT* note.
Cons: DO NOT BUY THIS FROM ASUS!!! Ghost Recon does not come with a CD-Key, so you cannot even install it. I have been speaking to them for weeks and they cannot even get me a CD-Key. Buy the card from another company!
Other Thoughts: Asus sucks.

Unbelievable !
Pros: If you are or want to be a hardcore gamer, do not overlook this card. It compliments any system with a video card and you will see frames per second increase. I see a cleaner, sharper image on nearly all my games. I followed this card for months reading extensive articles and reviews. Some Gurus talk about software enhanced games that will make this obsolete for it takes off. WRONG! The word is getting out, the games are here, tons more are coming, and it can only grow from here. I bought GRAW before I got my PhysX and I liked the game then, but its crazy now! Of coarse with Rainbow Six Vegas it is incredible. I can’t believe I didn’t start that game when it came out. I bought it the day it was released but I couldn’t put down GRAW. I can go all night bragging about it all the enhancements gained but I am not going to beg you to buy it. I don’t work for them. Go ahead, break your piggy bank and buy, buy, buy! You will never look back. I just bought my 2nd card and its going in my girlf
Cons: The cons are the neigh Sayers, they are generally the people without it, don't know what they have,or didn't install the drivers correctly! I loaded the drivers, and then naturally installed the updates from PhysX. The first game I played required me to download the same drivers and install them again. Never figured that one out but it’s working great now. I did go a week without this PC (it was at the PC Doctor for unrelated problems), I used my identical system but without this card and I could not wait for my PhysX’s fix. I think I am addicted to it now! Can’t say that is a con though.
Other Thoughts: I know I don't have the latest and greatest PC out there but this card seems to be a graphics multiplier. When I do buy my new system, this card will go into it. For now its on a 3.2mHz, 6800GT w/512mb, 4Gigs DDR and SB X-Fi

PhysX card
Pros: It creates a more realistic environment in GRAW. When you throw a grenade, it really shows the power of the physics card. I also purchased this card because GRAW 2 is scheduled to come out in Q1 2007.
Cons: Price is still a little high but for an avid gamer, this is worth it.

This card is deceiving
Pros: Haven't seen it do anything yet.
Cons: All of the game software that is bundled with this card is not the full version. Advanced Warfighter didn't come with an unlock code. I would have bought something less expensive if I new the games didn't work. I feel cheated by Asus.
Other Thoughts: It's a shame that there aren't any physix cards that have water cooling. Mine runs as hot as my old air cooled video cards. Even when I'm not using it for anything.

Really fun to play with.
Pros: This card is a blast! No really it is! It brought more dynamics to the games as I played them. I is really fun to watch thing blow up around me.
The card has increased my PCMark 2006 score about 120 points. Not much but hey it did not hurt it.
Cons: Still to expensive. The effects are great but not worth the cost yet. It needs to be sub hundred dollar range to be worth the cost.
Cooling fans and heat sink is too small. This thing gets really hot, almost as hot as my 8800's do. The heat stays in the case and warms up the rest of the cards. Good thing I have a really big case.

Pretty
Pros: This card makes the games it works in beautiful. Granted in many of them you'll take a minor framerate hit to do so but it's well worth it to see the realistic explosions in GRAW
Cons: Not enough games support it yet
Other Thoughts: I don't plan on upgrading my current computer for more than 2 years so this card was kind of a 'Planning ahead' move.

Cons: Not enough games eyt. im waiting for the new cell factor, Splinter Cell Double Agent, and UT2007
Other Thoughts: I got this card for free at comic con in san diego and im happy. if i had payed for it i would have bought a 7950 gt instead. but it is a new technology so just give it some time

Nice Chip Concept
Pros: It's Very cool that a seperate chip can process the physics in an application. Great Idea....
Cons: A bit Expensive, still a young component, and is not integrated yet...
Takes space in a pc and costs to much for what it currently does. Not worth the money yet!
Other Thoughts: Eventually I think this type of Processing unit will be integrated into the main GPU or CPU of the System. That would be nice.

Pros: Really noticed a difference with GRAW - much more detailed explosions etc. Really like having it
Cons: Wish more games supported it.

Like the effects
Pros: The effects displayed by the card are great.
Cons: limited games that use the physx, would be nice if more titles available
Other Thoughts: arrived a few days late and not plastic sealed. First time for everything, even Newegg isn't perfect

Amazing!!
Pros: The difference this card makes in graphics is simply amazing. It comes with the full version of GRAW and 2 test versions of other games, everything looks so much different. Explosions look really cool. It will take some load off the CPU as well.
Cons: Just the price I guess, but it's worth it.
Other Thoughts: I would buy this one over the other PhysX card in the market for two reasons, it's an ASUS and the cooling fan on this one loosks so much better.

Nice Hardware
Pros: Adds such great physics to GRAW that I can already see this cards potential in future games, good heatsink, price, and extras compared to BFG's.
Cons: Like most have said, not enough games supporting it so you might as well hold off and save money while letting the prices of these kinda cards drop at the same time, its just one of those things where if you've got the money to spend for it then go right ahead.
Other Thoughts: As mentioned if you have the money go right ahead and buy it if you're looking into it and having trouble making a choice, I did for a while, buy it, I promise you won't be dissapointed.

Spectacular Hardware, Needs more Support
Pros: Great hardware, amazing performance, fills a real need in the field
Cons: Has to be directly supported by developers, and as such has a small base of compatible games and apps thusfar
Other Thoughts: This is an amazing card. City of [Heroes | Villains] looks great, and the couple of FPSs run smoothly and nicely, too. Only thing is, it's direct vendor support for now. This needs to be a DirectX supported API really soon -- this card is too nice to go the way of the dodo for lack of ease in unlocking its vast potential.

Neat Little Card With A Grand Future.
Pros: Got this card (temporarily?) for free for being an Ageia CMT. The performance pickup is amazing with this card, espically in the newest CellFactor demo. I picked up a good 10FPS all around. Before this card, cloth animations slayed my computer (1FPS, crash, etc.) With it? 30-70FPS. It unlocked more advanced physics in GRAW with only a slight FPS hit (1-2FPS?) Haven't got to try it with anything beyond these two games.
Cons: None really. More game support would be nice, but this card is young.
Other Thoughts: This card is still in its infancy, but I forsee it being something very great in the near future. I'm not completely sure that I would drop $xxx for it, but it's certaintly a very nice and useful card.
Specs: AMD Athlon 64 4000+ (@2.85GHz), XFX 7900GT 256mb (@600MHz/1800Mhz), 2GB Crucial RAM, 550W PSU.

I'll be keeping my card...
Pros: My card is actually 256MB (Samsung K4J52324QC-BC20 memory chips). If you want the math: From Samsung's datasheets: 2M x 32Bit x 8 Bank GDDR3 SDRAM (or 16MBits x 32) * 4 chips = 2048MBits / 8 Bits per Byte = 256MegaBytes. The recent AGEIA (2.4.3) and GRAW (1.10) patches no longer give me a FPS hit.
Cons: My card came in a "used" condition like the fellow below me. However I believe it's due to ASUS's Q&A process. There were fingerprints on the bracket and flux residue (yellowish residue similar in looks to the sticky stuff that tape may leave behind) on the back of the PCB. Not the nicest thing to see, but it is easily cleaned off with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and Q-tips.
Other Thoughts: In terms of the value and benefits of this card... that's up to you after reading reviews and seeing videos/screenshots. Personally I don't think it is worth near $xxx at the moment (though you get GRAW free) for the minor polygon effects (CellFactor has nicer effects, but it's just a demo). However, I'll be holding faith that future games (such as UT2K7) will take advantage of PHYSX as I think it has potential if implemented properly. Let's hope there will be price drops and PCIEx1 versions soon.

Interesting
Pros: Adds more objects into the game that you can interact with, takes the load off of the Video card when it comes to the physics processing.
Cons: Slows down the game (GRAW), probably because there are more particles and objects to render. Also, not very many games to take advantage of the card yet. With an athlon 64 3000+, 2 gig of ram, NVidia 7600 gt, and no physX card, I was getting 40 - 55 FPS in GRAW, and with the physX card, I had noticable slow downs when there was a lot of fighting action going on. There is a patch that is said to help out with this, but I will check it out tonight...
Other Thoughts: This came to me, and by the inside packaging, it was clearly opened already... No damage or signs of use on the PhysX card. A bit disappointing, as it was not labeled as open box and not at a discounted price...

Physx effects!!
Pros: Got the Asus over BFG because of the free GRAW and like the Heatsink better, plus its ASUS. Comes packaged nicely and install was a breeze. There isnt a huge difference in GRAW but its nice and worth it only if you have extra cash for these kind of toys. Otherwise i wouldnt get it if i was in a budget. Also, you should have a beefy video card and CPU to go along with it since there are more items flying around and stuff.
Cons: Price, but if you have it , go for it, only 300.00 bucks=P
Other Thoughts: Hope to see more games use it in future, esp new Unreal coming out later this year
