Pros: - When it worked it worked great.
- On paper it was exactly what I wanted.
- It stopped working in time for me to get an RMA.
Cons: - It stopped working properly almost a month after I bought it.
- I had to upgrade my power supply to install it.
- Whenever I turned on my LCD TV, which was attached to the card, the card automatically switched from the second monitor on my desk to the TV.
Other Thoughts: I was looking for a card that would allow me have a dual monitor setup and connect my TV to the computer via HDMI. I didn't necessarily want to have all three video devices on at once, but that would be nice (This card only allowed any two of the three screens I mentioned at any one time). As I mentioned in the cons I had to upgrade my power supply, but I would have had to do that with any model card with this chipset. Also it had an annoying habit of switching from my second monitor to the TV whenever I turned the TV on. I had planned to investigate that problem further when the card started having problems. Vista safe mode, only one of my monitors would work and that monitor had degraded video quality (not just lower resolution). I put in my old video card and everything is fine. It may be that I just got the one bad card out of a thousand, but the bottom line is the card stopped working properly within a month ... 1 out of 5.
